Introducing, Two Point County’s ever-present mayor, Tabitha Windsock: a lady with morals, integrity and, above all, a cloying desperation to stay in office.
The environment is the issue on everyone’s mind here in Two Point County, and Ms Windsock is willing to fall on the sword of extensive positive press by founding the Department of Green Things.
Support her initiative by taking care of the green-minded, recently-pro-windsock, community. Tabitha needs them in this time of poor voter polling!
You’ll face new illnesses, some of them bizarre, even by your standards, and manage new gameplay mechanics on your route to eco-friendly success. We believe in you, and Tabitha does too (sort of).

Have you ever dreamed of running an eco-friendly hospital in a GIANT Eco City!? How about becoming a botany pro, and growing your own food for patients who don't want to eat Cheesey Gubbins? No? Well.. it's quite a specific dream I suppose, but now we've told you, you want to do it right?
Well let us introduce you to our brand spanking new DLC - Two Point Hospital: Off The Grid, where you've been given the opportunity to take the plant based reins of some intriguing hospitals in three new, snazzy locations around Two Point County! We know what you're thinking: "it sounds too good to be true!", "you're pulling my branch", "how did this so-called opportunity arise?", "why are you putting words into my head?" WELL... let's set the scene shall we?
From furtive whisperings by the camp fire in the remote corners of Wanderoff County Park, to talk on corners in the bustling eco city of Windsock, it’s fair to say the environment is on everybody’s lips. Not just because the air tastes so pure, but because someone has an agenda...
Voters are sure this is the doing of Two Point County’s ever-present mayor, Tabitha Windsock: a lady with morals, integrity and, above all, a cloying desperation to stay in office. The environment is the issue on everyone’s mind here in Two Point County, and Ms Windsock is willing to fall on the sword of extensive positive press by founding the Department of Green Things.
Never one to miss an opportunity, you are poised to take advantage of this political will by expanding your hospital-building operation to three new parts of the county. You’ll face new illnesses, some of them bizarre even by your standards, and will have to manage new gameplay mechanics on your route to hospital-owning success.
We believe in you. Tabitha does too (sort of).
Now of course, we don't want to spoil all of the content for you just yet. So keep an eye on our social channels where we'll be revealing more illnesses, locations and new gameplay features!
It's a super exciting time for everyone here at the studio with the console release just around the corner, and you may have noticed that's been a big focus for us recently. But what if we were to tell you we've been cooking something else up? Perhaps something to say a little thank you to our lovely PC players, you know, the people that got us here in the first place! Sound good?
GOOD! Because we haven't forgotten about our awesome PC players, no way! To say thank you to all of you, we're releasing a brand new, free update on PC today: R.E.M.I.X.
R.E.M.I.X is a digital recreation of three of your favourite levels:
Hogsport
Lower Bullocks
Flottering
What do we mean by digital recreation? Excellent question! The good people at Bungle came up with the idea to create a hospital simulator simulation... or something like that... where you'll complete goals to receive stars. Of course, being digital, these stars don't actually reflect anything tangible, they aren't a standardised rating by a recognised board like the Two Point Health Ministry, they're purely symbolic of progress and an understood practice in video games. Let's face it, now you know about them, you want them, right? We aren't making sense are we? Ok let's break it down:
Hogsport This lovely little tutorial level is known for being wonderfully peaceful, and a great way to get started in Two Point County. In R.E.M.I.X however, your beloved starter level is about to be overrun with patients needing attention in a 10 wave horde mode! You'll need to use your skills as a wicked good hospital administrator to overcome this one!
Lower Bullocks Just when you think you've got to grips with Lower Bullocks, R.E.M.I.X strikes! This isn't going to be a piece of cake (mmm...cake), this is a serious mission of hospital expansion, with super fun challenges to complete before you're able to unlock more plots. Can you unlock them all and sustain a successful hospital?
Flottering Yes, yes, we all know Flottering is a training hospital, but this time you'll be profiting from career development (no, not your own). You'll be facing the tough challenge of training up your junior staff members and profiting while you do it! You'll still gain some income from curing patients of course, but we don't really care about them here; that's acceptable right?
We hope you enjoy the new challenges that await you in this free update! Thank you for your support, and here's to more coming in the future!

We've had a fantastic 2019 and we're really grateful for the support of our amazing community since we launched the game over a year ago.
We hope you've enjoyed our many free updates to date, including copy-paste room functionality, complete wall and floor customisation, staff customisation, sandbox mode, The Superbug Initiative and more.
Of course, this being the season of goodwill, it would be utterly REMISS of us to not give you a gift to end the year on a high. (We've actually got two gifts... more on that in a minute).
First up, we're adding a range of Christmas items for all players, including the wonderful BULGING SACK. Nothing else needed, just boot up and there will be your items in the game.
Secondly, did you play The Superbug Initiative this year? If you so may have grabbed some great rewards. We know, however, that not everyone managed to get their hands on them. So we've decided to give them to everyone for free!
All you have to do is sign up to Hospital Pass on twopointhospital.com and link your Steam account to receive the WHOLE Season One items bundle along with the Golden Toilet Suite. Ravishing! (Lavishing?)
So all that remains is for us to say another huge THANK YOU for a wonderful year in your company, dear community. Please have yourselves a wonderful time over the next couple of weeks and we'll be back with more news in the New Year.
Cor blimey, we’re available to vote for in the Labor of Love category in the upcoming Steam awards. We’re really proud to be considered as we’ve added almost 20 updates to the game since release, powered by community feedback.
We’ve added whole new features and functionality like Sandbox Mode, Customisation (Steam Workshop support), Copy Rooms, The Superbug Initiative and a bootful of quality of life updates to make your time managing the crazy hospitals in Two Point County even more satisfying and fun.
We hope this has helped make your game bigger and better, and we will keep listening to your feedback on Hospital for many more months to come. This is just the beginning! If you like what you see, please do consider firing us a vote.
Your eyes don’t deceive you, dear reader. Not only is Two Point Hospital at our biggest discount yet (66%), we’ve also re-enabled and enhanced a fan fave - Spooooooky Mode is back!
(Apparently 666% wasn’t a valid discount)
If you happened to miss out on this frightful delight last year, here’s what’s in store for a limited time:
• 9 new spooky tracks • Fright-headedness: a pumpkin-headed variant of Lightheadedness! • A gaggle (what’s the collective noun for bats?) of flying bats on some levels • Spooky and mysterious lighting changes across some levels • UI updates to main menu and in game HUD
And, not for the faint-hearted…
A frightening selection of replacement spooky decorations:
o A pumpkin has infested the Carnivorous Plant to create a true botanical nightmare o The Newsagents' stand has been web-adorned o What's that in the Brain Jar? o The Arcade Machine has been cobwebbed o Orange is most definitely in this season for our beloved Gnome o The Pink Bird has been defiled with another pesky pumpkin o Reception has been pimped, haunted house style o The Display Skeleton's got a bold new look o The Cat-in-the-Box head's looking pretty tasty, too o Pretty much every picture of a dog now has a rather unusual element to it... o The Mountain Painting seems to have come to life somewhat o When it comes to the Nurse Station, don't look in the bed pan o And the Ward Bed... whatever you think is under there... it's probably worse.
We can’t wait for you to play! Just maybe not right before bedtime, eh? We’re not keen on being responsible for any heebie-jeebies.
We’re delighted to say that today we are launching two brand new addons for Two Point Hospital – the Close Encounters DLC and the Retro Items Pack!
Close Encounters is our most out-of-this-world DLC yet, featuring a whole new area of Two Point County in the dusty surrounds of Goldpan.
Meanwhile, the Retro Items Pack introduces 27 great new items to your hospitals, themed around the past! Time to dust off the gramophone...
About Close Encounters
Down in the town of Goldpan, rumours persist of an out of this world encounter. A fireball, witnessed streaking above the sandy climes of Two Point County’s Eastern reaches, is chief suspect after a range of unusual illnesses have caused strife, commotion and general unrest amongst the inhabitants of this oft-forgotten town.
As an all-round medical supremo with a knack for tackling the unreal, your administration has operational access to some key locations in the area… including some areas the public really don’t need to know about. The Two Point Squabbler, the County’s finest journalistic institution, wants to know what’s going on… and you’re their ticket in.
What’s included?
3 mysterious new locations 3 new, fully animated cure machines 11 new visual illnesses 34 new illnesses in total New gameplay New music, DJ and tannoy lines New Hospitals
Take in the unredacted sights of Goldpan, followed by a top security trip to the ever-so-quaint Camoflage Falls, a town that most definitely does exist!
Beyond that? Well we’re talking pure conspiracy and pure intrigue. Harrison Wolff, Two Point County’s finest radio DJ, has oft speculated of another hidden location, with late-night meandering ramblings about a place called Chasm 24. Are his fears of robots walking the corridors just baloney? Or is he truly the sanest of us all?
New Illnesses
34 new illnesses have afflicted the denizens of this area of Two Point County, with some of the most serious of all including:
Lack of Humanity Flat-Packed Frogborne Science Friction Highly Ill-Suited Aller-Gs… and plenty more! New Items (Included for free with DLC, but separate to The Retro Items Pack)
Of course, it wouldn’t be a new area of Two Point County without a new series of delightful corridor-based accoutrements. Place the finest trappings of inter-planetary society in your hospitals and make them look truly otherworldly.
You can get 10% off the Close Encounters DLC as an Early Adopter bonus until September 5th.
It’s been almost a year since Two Point Hospital released and we’ve been blown away with our community support. So, you guessed it, we’re nowhere near done with updating it yet!
With Gamescom just around the corner, we thought now would be an opportune time to share update 1.16 with you.
We’ve got loads of exciting plans for Two Point Hospital (a very busy roadmap of great stuff, in fact!) and we can’t wait to share more with you very soon.
Make sure you stay turned to our social channels for more on that.
Until then, however, we have a cool update for you here which brings some nice tweaks to the staff menu UI. We’re also enabling text search in the items list to make it easier to find items you own, and ones you’ve downloaded from Workshop.
There are a few other minor fixes, too.
Full list here:
Update to the staff menu UI
Allow text search in the items menu to make it easier to find items
Bug fixes for 1.15
Fix timezone-related crash on startup, which affected some machines with Eastern locales (e.g. Korean, Chinese)
Fix random crash on some machines caused by use of a previously-experimental graphics multithreading setting
Fix other very rare instances of crashes in Unity engine
Reduce framerate spikes when creating new characters and parts of GUI during gameplay
Right here, right now, we’re announcing a brand spanking new feature that we'll be rolling out in Two Point Hospital. This new mode will see you collaborating with your friends, and with others across the globe, to complete challenges and unlock whole new in-game rewards. It’s called... The Superbug Initiative.
This feature will be available right away if you’ve achieved One Star in Mitton University in the game. In addition, we’re adding a new feature allowing you to add your own music to the game! IKR?! Many of you have been asking for the ability to do this and - in true Two Point Studios style - we've listened. Read on for more details on that at the end of the blog.
In a rush for the lowdown on The Superbug Initiative? You can check out the trailer right here! Else, read on for more juicy details (and if you can guess which team member voices the trailer, you will earn our respect forever more).
As we mentioned, take part in The Superbug Initiative and you’ll be able to get your hands on some rad rewards, which we’ll keep updating in future as we add more challenges to the game. Here’s just one example, The Ectovat!
This high-tech piece of Bungle equipment is designed to function as a repository for the goo of the dead, technically known by all ghost-catching aficionados as “ectoplasm”. Fill the tank up, and staff can tap into it to bolster their energy reserves. Patients too can top up their health! It’s a brilliant way of making the dead do something useful for once.
Here's how one of the group projects looks in action. Here you can see a few of us working together to crack the “Learning Machine Learning” challenge. We’re each performing objectives and are working together to complete nodes, which is nudging us ever-closer to some sumptuous in-game rewards.
As mentioned earlier in the blog, we’re also adding the ability for you to add custom music to the game! You’ll be able to add your own songs and hear them mixed with the dulcet tones of our resident Two Point County DJs.
To access this feature, you simply need to click “Audio” under the Settings menu, then click “Edit” under Music List – you’ll get something that looks like this! Here you can toggle existing tracks but also add you own new ones by clicking the + button.
Enjoy, and be sure to leave us feedback on the Steam Forums and via our brand spanking new Two Point Studios Discord: https://discord.gg/VHMJfN7. We’re just starting out with this channel, so you can be a part of its future today! More updates to come on that soon.
We hope you have a great time and really enjoy this feature as much as we have enjoyed making it. GO CHANGE THE FACE OF HEALTHCARE IN TWO POINT COUNTY, SCRUBS! We believe in you!
