DOMINA v1.2.72 RELEASE
  • fixed: scenery being drawn on top of spectators that should be behind them
  • New Twitch Commands:
    • - !no : at any time, chat can opt-out of having their names included in-game as gladiators
    • !hero [+bits] : while in ludus, chat users can appear as a gladiator with training dependent on how many bits were cheered (1-500 MAX)
  • fixed: fire employee UI glitch
  • new: click during battle tally screen will speed up rewards/stat updates
  • new: sell/grant freedom/put to death does not automatically close gladiator info window -> it will select the next gladitor in list
  • fixed: increased memory allocation for max cards (blank jupiter's blessings were being awarded later in game)
  • ui: chariot/horse names should no longer appear when gladiator info overlay is enabled (unless they are being hovered over with cursor)
  • new: BRUTAL FIGHTS slider - longer fights and increased levels of blood

  • fixed: sagittarius should attack chain/rope with swing attack, not shooting arrows
  • fixed: sagittarius weapon range fixed when picking up dropped single arrow (will shoot it, rather than run towards opponent for melee stike)
  • BRVTAL FIGHTS - fall-through damage can be toggled (depending on setting, either 100%, 50%, or 0% of remaining damage after shield absorbs HP will hurt gladiator, even during a successful block)
  • BRVTAL FIGHTS - multiple strikes per attack can be disabled (doctore emeritus training to enable damage to multiple targets with a single attack is disabled.)
  • updated events: snake bites and sun stroke should no longer kill gladiators who have private rooms.

fixed - wonky spectators being stretched, green bars across battle screen because we can't have nice things

fixed: naked gladiators (another crippling bug since launch, should be vanquished! never trust an opengl driver when it says it can give you an 8192x8129 pixel texture on shared video RAM hahahaahaha stick to 2048x2048!)

fixed: rope/net/equipment particles slowly floating through the firmament (an oldie but a goodie)

fixed: Gladiator Upgrades: special equipment upgrades should NOT be blocked IF the item is in stock in inventory, just because player doesnt have required employee.

fixed: behemoths should NOT throw guys on his own team from now on...

  • note: Domina_Low_RAM.exe has been renamed to Domina_MINIMAL.exe (it is a minimal ram build, but there are a number of performance improvements, not related to RAM hence, name change.)

  • fixed: gladiator selection / info boxes: HP impediments not correctly displayed!
  • fixed (hopefully... life is suffering. why do bad bugs happen to good people? i dont know.): opponent with -HP in pit fight
  • balancing: chance of a prestige level opponent lowered from [80% after 15 years] to [50% after 15 years] (other restrictions still apply: must be endless game, after 1 year of play, and only if player has Praesidio)
  • fixed: lion attack range too low
  • fixed: prestige AI doesn't detect weapons available for pickup (just stands there)
  • fixed: prestige AI doesn't find new target (just stands there - infinite loop)

  • Steam Achievements CURRENTLY DISABLED IN BETA
  • UI update: gladiator info defense/attack training points total and tooltips. attack/defense point breakdown for each piece of equipment now show TOTAL attack/defense for equipment and (in brackets, the equipment's contribution of points, to that total)
  • balancing: gladiators who have private room or train in Hall of Heroes will not appeal for release.
  • new: Doctore Emeritus will auto train gladiators in Hall of Heroes (Doctore still only trains men who are in ludus, not expanded areas)

Chariot Racing:
  • maximum speed of fully trained gladiator is reduced (prevent max trained dudes from running faster than a horse as fun as that was...)
  • drifting: manually controlled charioteers can now drift while cornering (use ROLL button, SPACE by default)
  • upgraded wheels do increased maximum damage to gladiators
  • fixed: drivers swinging at sagittarius across screen (beacuse they were within the enemie's weapon range derp)
