Testing Steam Achievements

PLEASE NOTE: the save files and log files have moved
from: \Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\Library\Containers\dolphinbarn.Domina\Data\Library\Domina\

TO: \Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\Library\Domina\

Once the new directory is there, you may notice any saved games and settings were lost. Just copy the contents of the previous directory into the new one and savegames and settings should be restored.

Sorry for the confusion (I didn't intend to change this at all, it appears to be some weirdness in XCode that I don't understand.)

If you have any issues, please send log files to contact@dolphinbarn.com or post on the forum. Comments here may not be noticed!

- fixed: horse still running after returning from race.
- fixed: horse/chariot could get permanent impediments hahah
- fixed: no decimal points in mouse-hover information
- fixed: mouse-hover only shows for basic gladiators (not lions/chariots/bosses)
- fixed: openGL error on load (may cause a crash after quitting back to menu and starting new game)
- champion challenge balancing: chance of lions = %0, increased crowd rewards, increased chance of opponent nerfed stat (yes its possible to win them!)

We've released the OSX port of Domina!

Please note that there are still a few known issues but both regular and endless modes are fully playable and have save games because who would ever release a game without saves/loads, I mean, come on, that'd be...
  • Mouse position resets on some menus (mostly at start of new game.)
  • Steam API currently broken (no Stats/Achievements yet)
  • No Twitch / Twitter / Facebook widgets yet

Still working on it, as always. For everyone who requested an OSX port, please buy it because its inexpensive and it was really really really frustrating and a lot of work to get this done before Christmas and now I own two MacBooks that I need to pay off.

- attempted fixed: white screen crash on gtx 1060/1050/970/980/860 (fullscreen issue with nVidia drivers from 10/10/2018)


FROM 1.2.9 BETA
- fixed: quitting during battle and re-loading the game reset the day's progress but not any research.
- endless mode: regularly scheduled battles will challenge top tier gladiators less often
- new: added some stats to mouse-hover in ludus
- fixed: incorrect save state was sometimes deleted (if you lost in endless mode, it might have deleted the save state for regular game)

- fixed: if domina died during challenge, and player had medicus emeritus with lazarus training, there was a chance she would be revived and appear in the ludus as a gladiator.

- fixed: behemoths not surrendering during regional championships (should be 20% of the time, if below 10% Max HP but not dead.)

- balancing: behemoth AI delay reduced to zero (they're a bit smarter now.)

- fixed: if player quit to menu during a chariot race and re-loaded the game, the next race would likely be broken when re-loaded

- fixed: magistrate/legate inventory sometimes caused a crash on open (if player quit to menu and re-loaded game often.)

- fixed: memory leak with particles

- fixed: horse spontaneously died when told to walk to a new spot in the ludus. and then just got back up again. MAGIC! Er.... ILLUSIONS.

- fixed: horse/chariot now point in the proper direction when moving in ludus

- fixed (again): quitting to menu and re-loading game sometimes loaded employees incorrectly or failed to load (prompting player to fire one.)

- fixed: gladiator victories/losses did not increment correctly.

- fixed: confusing wording on battle config screen when organizing an exhibition match.

- fixed: behemoths did not respect forced surrender in exhibition match. (lions will continue to be unaware of such a restriction because c'mon they're lions ffs.)

- fixed: weapon/attack overtraining was broken if agility overtraining was not also trained.

- fixed: doctore emeritus > deeper humility I/II was not interrupting exhibition matches properly

- disabled gamepad support by default as it was causing some lag issues on systems that were not using gamepads (can be enabled manually in Game Options but please note that GAME MUST BE RESTARTED AFTER ENABLING IT)

- increased logging for magistrate/legate inventory crash

- balancing: medicus emeritus impediment healing 2X faster. no one likes a dude limping around for the whole game. dudes just gotta get over it sometimes, you know? wounds heal. plenty of fish in the sea, right? she's happy, thats the main thing. who am i to complain, she'd be miserable with me anyway cause look... im always working on this damn game or trying to have a nap or make the best egg salad sandwich the world has ever seen. whos even got time for netflix let alone time for chill.

- balancing: max stat gain for battles is now capped at 25 (larger battles especially in endless mode could basically train up a newb from 0 to 200. not even one of my patented egg salad sandwiches could provide that much stat gain so lets be realistic. be realistic. set your sights a bit lower. thats it, aim low. low expectations has got to be the way to true love. anyway, enjoy this seemingly arbitrary stat nerfing.)
