Hello, Drift21 community!

In today's update, we have some new features for you. First of all, please welcome the European king of drifting tracks - BMW E46! You can build your car from scratch, or use some of the presets we have prepared in the Quick Race mode.



If you were lacking power before, you should now have enough of it. There is a powerful V8 engine waiting for you in the warehouse, which after tuning, easily delivers over 1000 horsepower! There are also bug fixes in the update that have been reported by the community.

This is not the end of the new features we are planning for September. This month you will test your skills on a completely new track. At the same time, we are working hard on multiplayer mode.

We are also constantly gathering feedback from players about the new driving model. Our goal is to further develop and improve this aspect of the game. That's why we ask you to share with us your comments on the Steam forum or in private messages on the game's Facebook page.

Hello, Drift21 community!

It has been a while since our last update but there's a good reason for this! We have spent some time in going through all your comments and gathering your feedback and we have worked hard to address your requests and come up with new physics and adjusted wheels compatibility. Today we are ready to put this new version in your hand and to make you feel the improvements we have added a Quick Race mode.

It's been a month and a half since DRIFT21 was released. During this time our team has been working hard to provide you with new routes, a new car, and support issues. We would like to thank everyone who supported us by participating in the Early Access phase.

We would like to give you some information about our upcoming plans related to DRIFT21 to keep you up to date about the progress of work.

Due to your feedback on the driving model, our current focus is on make drifting in our game as fun and as close to realism as possible. At the moment we are paying a lot of attention to improving the feeling of car behavior that you get with Force Feedback. With the support of our publisher - 505 Games, we are developing improved mechanics to enhance immersion.

We would also like to work more closely with you to maximize the potential of Early Access. Therefore, we ask you to continue to report and describe your driving experience in DRIFT21 in this related thread – Community Suggestions .

Please tell us in the thread what kind of controller you are using, and if you can, write what elements related to the driving model you like and any potential improvements. Thank you!

Although working on a driving model is a priority for us, this does not mean that the game will not generally receive updates. In the near future, we plan to increase the number of available languages in the game (i.e. German, French, Russian, Spanish, and Japanese). There will also be a first installment of the replay system, as well as a few add-ons to make your drifting cars more personalized.

Today’s update will bring you a new content no doubt you’re waiting for: the EBISU Touge track!
The route is a reproduction of the Japanese mountain switchbacks. The Touge (Shintoge) course is 1,200 meters of narrow, winding road with very limited visibility. The route is designed for experienced drifters with nerves of steel, who have mastered the skill of sliding to perfection!

Today’s content update adds a brand new track - The EBISU North (Kita), located at the highest point of the entire EBISU complex and will add a whole new proving ground as you take on the all new track challenges. Master this track and earn major kudos while drifting on the EBISU circuit!

First of all, we want to thank all of our amazing community for their support on this project so far.

The team at ECC have worked hard over the last couple of years and we are beyond excited to be racing into Early Access today!

As part of the early access program, the game is refined as much as possible however we have a lot of content planned for the next few months.
During Early Access, the team at ECC will be constantly updating and adding new features such as new tracks, cars, game modes ( including multiplayer ) and polishing elements from your community feedback. Between now and 1.0 you can expect to see a reset in the number of credits in the Garage as the final game will include a lot more additional vehicle modification options! It’s not just your racing skills that need tuning!

All of the features mentioned will be released gradually during early access, and we can’t wait to hear your feedback, so we can consistently work to improve and polish DRIFT21.

Just as a note the price of the game in Early Access will be different from the final price, we cannot disclose the price at this moment in time, but rest assured Early Access has a meaningful discount in comparison to what you will get in the final game.
