This hotfix addresses issues regarding Bears freezing, critters not reacting to the player and abnormal animal behaviour.
Note: In order to enable us to deploy this patch for you as quickly as possible we have had to compromise slightly. The bears now move as they should and can be properly hunted once more, there IS however a small animation ‘tic’ present (can be seen when the bears rears up), this will be fixed with our next normal update. We felt that getting you all a speedy solution was more important than perfection in this particular case.

Halloween is Coming to theHunter: Call of the Wild
Hello Hunters,
It’s that time of the year, where strange goings-on are reported in the reserves, and where the hunter becomes the h(a)unted! If you dare, read on below to see what frights we have in store for you.
Features:
Mysterious Missions in Hirschfelden including new characters.
Terrifying Tasks in Layton Lake featuring new animations.
Assorted Assignments in Medved-Taiga with old acquaintances.
4 Halloween event achievements
Once you enter any of the three reserves from October 26th until November 8th, a new mission will present itself to you, but only our boldest hunters should heed the call.
Each reserve will have its own unique and distinct set of ghoulish missions for you to take part in, so be sure to check in on them all. Once they’ve been triggered the first time, the missions can be re-activated whenever you want from your mission log.
Note for the faint of heart: You can simply choose not to follow mission instructions if you want to avoid the spooky Halloween content!
Sneaky tip: There is some particularly haunting voice-acting in the new missions, enable subtitles so you don’t miss anything!
