In this post we leave you the chronicle of the IDC/Games Zula Tournament Edition 8.
In the first round many matches took place, but several were not carried out because the teams did not show up. In general, all the matches had a clear winner and there were not many surprises. The only matches that stand out in this first round are Phu`eSports against BalkanEmìre (6 - 10) and AG_Team against #BLoW (10 - 7).
In the round of 32 all matches have been played, except a couple of matches that due to the teams that did not show up in the previous round flowed into the classification to the next round automatically, in this case BosniaN_DraGonS. Noteworthy is the match between Balkan Gaming and Panteri (11 - 13) and that of TimingMilitaryGroup against Nrfs_Esports (10 - 7). The rest of the matches had a clear winner.
In round of 16 we were able to enjoy very interesting and even matches like InspireD against AG_Team (10 - 7). NoTearS went directly to the quarterfinals as it had no rival against which to play.
In the quarterfinals we saw 2 totally crushing victories by Izako Boars and InspireD. The other two games were closer: ExaLted against Heavy-Damage (10 - 8) and SuperSaiyans against Vexed Gaming (8 - 10).
In the first semifinal Izako Boars faced ExaLted. The 3 selected maps were Wedding Hall, China and Refugee’s Camp. In the first match ExaLted started on the Zula side, but they were not able to win (10 - 2). In the second match Izako Boars started as Zula and the Polish players, demonstrating their supremacy, ended up rising with the victory (10 - 2). In the first game we must highlight the performance of Incredible with the sniper rifle MPT-76S getting 16 kills, 5 deaths and one assist (KDA 3.4) and in the second game, Incredible was again the best with 16 kills, 4 deaths and 2 assists (KDA 4.5).
In the other semifinal InspireD faced Vexed Gaming. It is necessary to emphasize that in this duel the old players of Vexed Gaming, SYZER and noW4Y, now in InspireD faced torriz, efGG and brshn, which gave us a very close and interesting semifinal. In this the third map was necessary to know the winner. These matches have been played in Old Town (Vexed Gaming 10 - InspireD 7), China (Vexed Gaming 5 - InspireD 10) and Wedding Hall (Vexed Gaming 10 - InspireD 13). In the first match the outstanding player was brshn (20 - 11 - 4) with a KDA of 2.18, in the second match, he was noW4Y (23 - 8 - 1) with a KDA of 3 and in the third, the best player was noW4Y again (25 - 13 - 1) with a KDA of 1.23. It is worth noting the magnificent performance of noW4Y in this semifinal, being the key player in the classification of his team for the next round.
In the final Izako Boars faced InspireD, who, despite being the first edition in which they played together, managed to reach the final. But, despite this, the Polish team ended up rising with the victory in the first two maps: Wedding Hall (10 - 4) and China (10 - 3). In the first match the best players of each team were, on the part of Izako Boars, Doxiu (16 - 6 - 2) with a KDA of 3, and, on the part of InspireD, noW4Y (12 - 11 - 3) with a KDA from 1.36. In the second match we can highlight the performances of Doxiu (16 - 8 - 3) with a KDA of 2.37 and Incredible (15 - 6 - 1) with a KDA of 2.66.
Izako Boars is still the team to beat, but every time we can see more teams that can face them and end up taking the victory against them.
