Hello Everyone.

Today, I have an update for you. Well, not an update for the game! and update for the progress of Kuboom.

I just wanna start by apologizing to our fans for the lack of updates. We are trying to get as many updates as possible but new problems keep on arriving.

Dont worry, we are still working on Kuboom. Which is why this has "Progress Update" in the title!

Anyway, this post will focus on the things thats been happening behind the scenes.

So, why arent there any new updates being posted? its been weeks since the last one, and there was no patch log either!

Yes I know, Mainly because the update just fixed and re-optimized the game. Nothing to special to make a post about. And second we are dealing with a few issues within the team again.

Firstly, our main developer has stepped away from Kuboom for a while. He might come back since he has done this before. But that slows down the progress of development.

Secondly, our servers arent doing so well. Well not as well as before. At the time of making this post the servers are corrected but before they were slow, buggy and all around awful. So we were spending most of our time fixing that.

We are aware of most bugs but we are also dealing with personal issues.

Okay, so enough of all of that. Lets dive into the good bits.

I have set up 2 Polls for Kuboom.


The first poll which is about the decision to add destructible environment to Kuboom. We had a vote on this decision on VK too, but that ended and this is also for the steam version.

The second poll which is to add vehicles to the game. Of course the maps will be built around that idea. But we want to make sure the community is okay with these decisions.

Today, I have an update for you. Well, not an update for the game! and update for the progress of Kuboom.

  • Optimized the loading, the servers now load faster!

  • Added the new "Stormtrooper" skin along with the helmet!

  • Added 4 new skins for the AK-47, Deagle, Tec-9 and Negev

  • Fixed up the music settings and the sesitivity in the options menu

  • Increased Cash earnings after each battle

  • Loads of bug fixes

    We hope you guys continue to enjoy Kuboom's new updates, in the next few updates we will try to bring Kuboom to life. And we also apologize for the lack of updates and the bug where players were unable to fight.

  • We reworked the map "Inferno" and it is now named, "Inferno 2.0" with many new key areas and passages.

  • Corrected (increased) the number of players on many maps.

  • Round time in the demolition mode reduced to 10 minutes.

  • Numerous improvements to the combat interface of the game.

  • Bug fixes and improvements to the chat, party chat and the scoreboard!

  • Many small improvements and bug fixes!

  • Reworked netcode to fix latency upon killing a player (Sorry 'bout that!)

  • New Map for the game mode "Domination" named "Underground"

  • Fixed up the Spectator Camera after death.

  • Added a Maximum value for the Mouse sensitivity option.

  • Changed water effects on all maps that have water in it.

  • Fixed up many other bugs.
