Hello!

We have been waiting for this moment for a long time and we understand that you really missed the updates in BIGFOOT. We thank you for your patience and are pleased to announce that the work on the largest update in the history of the game is completed! We've made a lot of fundamental gameplay changes and added the mode that you've been asking for. Now you can become Bigfoot and show your friends who is in charge here in the forest!

We strongly recommend you reinstall the game before the update.

Please note that the game is still in Early Access and may contain bugs that we did not find during the testing phase. If you notice a bug, glitch, or just have some advice, write to this form. Also, right in the main menu, you can use the "Report a bug" button.

Here is a list of the most significant changes:

General:

Added a game mode against Bigfoot under player control;
Added Redwood map;
Redesigned interface;
Added notes, magazines, and other items with which you can study the history of tourists who disappeared in the preserves;
Added game difficulty settings;
Refactoring of the entire code has been done;
Improved game stability;
Added extended inventory;
Added radial menu;
Added achievements;
Added player profile, level, and statistics;
Added a safes system and notes with passwords from them. Safes store powerful weapons such as the M4 and AWM;
Added voice proximity chat.

Graphics:

Reworked part of 3d models and added new ones;
Added random effects (lightning returned);
Improved graphics and quality of weather effects;
Added volumetric clouds;
Added a physically correct atmosphere.

Bigfoot:

Redesigned model;
Reworked all animations. Most of it was done with Motion Capture;
Redesigned AI;
Improved combat system;
Added the ability to throw melee weapons;
Added a system of skills and perks.

Abilities:

Howl - allows you to spot hunters and animals at a great distance;
Trap - allows you to set a hanging trap next to trees;
Savage hits - Bigfoot inflicts many quick hits on the victim;
Ram run - Bigfoot runs up and rams everyone in the way;
Furious throw - Bigfoot takes and pushes the victim into the ground;
Rage - Bigfoot gets furious and spends a few seconds much less energy to fight;
Fatality - effectively finishing off hunters on death.

Passive abilities:

Night damage resist - allows Bigfoot to receive reduced damage from any type of weapon at night;
Bigfoot can smell food nearby.

Hunters:

Added new characters with high-quality models;
Reworked all animations. Most of it was done with Motion Capture;
Added a parkour system through small obstacles such as fences and windows;
Added the ability to throw melee weapons;
Added the ability to climb over obstacles.

More about the characters:
Rick
When Rick was six years old, he went on a camping trip that changed his life. Since then, all he’s wanted to talk about is Bigfoot until eventually everyone who knew him claimed he was insane. But that didn’t faze Rick. He went on to be a professional hunter, mastering the art of stealth. He went on to become the founder and leader of the Bigfoot Research Association (BRA). He spends his days focusing on a single goal: finding out the truth. Did he really meet Bigfoot that day?

Thom
Tom is a policeman who always had courage and strength, but this power didn’t save his loved ones from death, because Bigfoot turned out to be stronger. After resignation, he decides to join the Bigfoot Research Association (BRA) team and prevent further deaths. Tom has always shown courage and strength as a policeman, but it wasn’t enough against the legendary Bigfoot. After losing his loved ones from the beast, Tom resigned from the force and turned to the BRA. He believes that with them, he can find Bigfoot and put an end to the killings.

Will
Will is a college student whose life revolves around programming and computer games. His dream? Making the first great game about hunting Bigfoot. Will wants to get on the front lines and learn all he can to make the most realistic and influential Bigfoot game possible. Will joins the BRA, eager to learn and see Bigfoot up close.

Jess
Jess is a primate expert, one of the youngest in her field. She’s eager to be the first to discover a new species, hoping to receive the Nobel Prize in cryptozoology. All she needs is some proof of Bigfoot’s existence, and the BRA is ready to help her.

Weapon:

Added explosive objects: gas bottle, canister, dynamite, car battery;
Added new firearms and animations to them: M4, Remington 700, Remington 870, Glock 17, AWM;
Bullets now have ballistic physics;
Added a stun gun to the drone.

We plan to further develop BIGFOOT by improving gameplay, balance, and adding new features!

What is planned:

3 reserves are under development;
Modification of AI Bigfoot;
Adding new mechanics;
Bug fixes and gameplay balancing;
Optimization and stability.

Upcoming BIGFOOT Update News: Plot, Game Mechanics, Localization, and Weapons

Hello everybody!
Time passes and our game becomes more interesting and varied. We promised a big update and now we will reveal some more news about it!

Plot
On our maps, you can find a total of 12 dead people. They all have their own story that you can unravel. Immerse yourself in the lives of the heroes and find out more about these heroes through the various items they left behind. From notes, lost phones, and other things, you can find out the true cause of death of the heroes.

New game mechanics
One of your new tasks will be to find safes, as well as parts of codes in the different locations that will lead you to the correct password. In the safe, you can find unique items that you will not see anywhere else on the maps. Parts of the code can be found all over the map, and the correct answer that will open the safe will not be easy to guess, but we know for sure what you can do!

Localization
You know that new mechanics and plots are being added to the game, which means that we are faced with the task of translating and adapting all the texts in the game. Since some of the translations were poorly done, we realized that those who like this game will be able to approach localization more conscientiously.

You can fill out an application for translation of the game and become a part of the development of our game as a volunteer. In turn, we will definitely mention your name and you will be able to have access to the update very first. We are especially looking for native speakers of Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, but also Italian, Spanish, French, Arabic, Polish, and Portuguese.

Upcoming BIGFOOT Update News: Heroes, BRA, and Key Giveaway

Hello everybody! While we are working hard on the upcoming update, which will be released this fall, we are telling you about the new things that await you in this update. This is the first part of update announcements and in it, we write about the heroes and their history, BRA in BIGFOOT. In the end, you will also find information about the key giveaway, so read to the end!

In the new update, our heroes will decide to unite into a whole organization that will fight Bigfoot!

Bigfoot Research Association (BRA) brings together the main characters of the game: Jess, Rick, Tom, and Will. Everyone has their own reason to join the team, everyone pursues their own motives, but they are united by a common goal - Bigfoot.

Newspapers and news reports reported many missing people, with investigators finding only strangely huge tracks and a couple of scraps of unknown wool. The BRA group decided to conduct independent research and find evidence of Bigfoot's existence. Attempts have so far been in vain, and many tourists have already been found dead. They left notes, and some even kept a diary, some were found to have inhuman blood and hair, but DNA tests did not confirm anything.

What could have really happened? BRA will come to some terrible findings...

Also, our heroes have become more realistic and interesting. You can see their stories and models below:

Rick

In childhood, Rick met a strange creature. But no one believes. Neither family nor friends didn't want to accept what had happened, so many people shunned Rick and considered him insane.

Rick's life turned into an eternal exploration, a search for evidence of the existence of Bigfoot himself. He became a hunter, hunted for various animals, studied flora and fauna, but didn't answer all his questions. What if he organizes a group of the same desperate hunters like him?

Every day in search of face to face with danger. And a clue.
Tom

Tom's life was like a drama film. Chases, shooting, detention of criminals - policeman Tom felt all this on his own skin and was infinitely proud of his work. As well as his beloved family.

Somehow, together with his family, he decides to go on an extreme trip through the mountains and forests with tents. If he only knew how this journey would end... All his relatives would be killed by Bigfoot's paws, and Tom would be saved, but the feeling of revenge will flicker in his soul...

Now Tom has resigned and joined the ranks of BRA. There will be no more victims! He is confident that he will defeat Bigfoot!
Jess

Jess's life since school turned into a race for success. The recognition of her abilities is the highest reward that she must know full.

As a recognized expert on primates, she has little work in the best science center in the country. She is confident that the Nobel Prize will go to her one day, and for this, she just needs to collect evidence of the existence of Bigfoot. How little for the worldwide recognition of her genius!

Jess arrives at the National Park with her finger on the pulse. Time is her enemy and she must have time to make the discovery of Bigfoot as a species of an animal before other researchers! And she knows that with the BRA it will be much easier for her to do it, so Jess is in business, she joins the association.
Will

Will has loved programming for as long as he can remember. But what a disappointment he had when the university practically did not give him the necessary knowledge, so Will began to spend a lot of time playing computer games, and after that, he even created a gamer club in his university.

One day Will realized that games can not only be played, they can also be created, so he teamed up with his friends in one great goal - to make a cool game about hunting! It would be somehow boring to hunt for ordinary wondrous, but Will also adored science shows and saw many interesting animals. His interest fell on Bigfoot.

How to make a game about Bigfoot without having a lot of photos and information about him? Will decides to solve this problem and go straight to visit Bigfoot, joining the ranks of the BRA.

Next update news. New Bigfoot

Development on the update is ongoing and we are pleased to show you the updated Bigfoot character. The process of making this model was hard and required detailed research. We wanted to create a unique and realistic model based on information we`ve got from evidence, photo and video investigations. So we can say for sure that it is one of the most realistic Bigfoot models in modern games!

Our team working hard on adding lots of new interactable objects and weapons to the game. It takes a long time for our small team, but it is definitely worth it, as it dramatically takes the quality of the game to a higher level.

You know for sure that the coronavirus greatly influenced the entire gaming industry, and our team was no exception. For example, we are now postponing the recording of mocap animations because Kyiv, where our studio is located, is now quarantined. Despite this, the development of a new map is underway.

We also made a mask of Bigfoot on Instagram to bring you some bright emotions and now anyone can try it! Would you like to become a Bigfoot?
