To access the beta right click on the game in the library and press properties, then navigate to the beta tab and select "public_beta" in the dropdown. You may have to restart steam if the game does not start downloading the beta.

The Battle and Campaign creator beta just went live!
Please restart steam and then right click the game in your library and choose: Properties - Betas - Public_Beta (no code needed)
Create your own battles in the sandbox!
Save the battle, set a budget and upload it to the workshop!
You can also use your battles to create and share your own campaign.
Download other's campaigns and battles under the workshop tab in the main menu.
We accidentally added a test-unit for the cavalry, it's not meant to be a unit but we will make a similar one for anyone who uses it in their campaign/level that will be added in the full update. The real Cavalry unit will come in a future update but not the next one!
Hello everyone! We know you’re excited for the next update but unfortunately, we’ve been having some issues with our engine that have made it impossible for us to deliver the 0.4 update up to the same standards as we want to in June.
Therefore we’re not going live with the update this week BUT we are going to open up the Battle and Campaign creator on a beta branch for everyone early next week with the hope of doing the full update soon.

Added some missing pieces to the armor of the knight

Balance:
Slightly increased the size of the hoplite shield
Slightly increased the cost of the King
Decreased the health of the Shogun

Unit possession:
You can control units by looking at them and pressing F - holding F makes it easier to choose which unit, just let go when you've marked the one you want to possess.
Control the unit by walking/running/driving with the WASD keys, use attacks with LMB and RMB (mouse clicks) and do special moves with space. All units don't have attacks or special moves so it varies from unit to unit. Use C to switch between first and third person view.
Remember, you're possessing the unit - this means will be just as bad (and probably worse) as the unit usually is!
Make sure to restart steam and verify the integrity of the game files.
