Railway Empire Update 1.14.1 is now available for Windows PC, Linux, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This update fixes a bug that had trains not to be properly unloaded. Update 1.14.1 also fixes a bug that stopped the Monster Snack achievement from being unlocked. Additionally, it adds further improvements to the Railway Empire - Japan DLC.

Railway Empire Update 1.14.0 is now available for PC, Linux, PS4 and Xbox One. In update 1.14.0 you can expect some quality of life improvements and optimizations. Tracks without an owner no longer belong to the player when loading a savegame.

• Added tree colours which reflect the change of seasons (blossoms).
  
• Added preview pylon added that snaps when Shift is held and the track is hovering. Added preview pylon which snaps to the end of parallel tracks.
  
• Removed minimum threshold for placing pylons on tracks.
  
• Fixed a bug where sometimes tracks were not connected properly when creating a junction.
  
• Tracks without an owner no longer belong to the player when loading a savegame.

Railway Empire – Down Under – DLC

• Added ‘Adelaide’ to Free games with inactive settlements.

Steam / Epic

General

• Players on Steam and Epic now have the option to save their game locally. Settings are still stored in the cloud.

Originally developed by Kalypso Media's in-house developer Gaming Minds Studios, the Nintendo Switch version arrives courtesy of storied German developer Independent Arts Software, who re-engineered the rail tycoon sim for its portable debut.

Available in a physical retail edition and as a digital purchase via the Nintendo eShop, Railway Empire - Nintendo Switch™ Edition includes the main game (with all added content and improvements since its initial launch), alongside the Mexico DLC, Crossing the Andes DLC, and The Great Lakes DLC.
