We’ve finally come to a state to pin a date for the release of update V1.5! 31st of January
To compliment the release, a planned trailer will be released beforehand to show you of what the battlefield will look like in v1.5.
Take a look at the main changes of v1.5:
- New core gamemode - Uplink Assault - New rotating social playlist - first mode is Gun Game - New weapons - RPG-7, M203, Flaregun - New main menu - New weapon models - Makarov, AKS74-u, SKS - New hands - new model, better weapon grips, gestures - New map - Server Browser shows games with Steam and Oculus friends in them - New loading screen - Rescaled the weapons to their real life values - Rezeroed all the sights on the weapons - Fixed the charging handle rotation animation to G36 and G3 - Made bolt action rifles more reliable. Bolt closes automatically if near to being closed - Improved the Night Vision - Added option to toggle left/right eye that renders to the monitor - Added Refresh Loadout button to Tablet in freeroam lobbies to respawn all items selected in tent. - Water: Be safe, you can now drown - Shooting Range: Expanded west boundary of map to allow for longer range sniper practice - Shooting Range: added moving targets - Fixed VIP unique icon on the Tablet - Fixed a lot of Performance issues - Remade the smoke grenade for better performance

Welcome to our seventh sitrep! In this sitrep we'll talk about how game modes are going to be set up in update v1.5, a look back at 2018, and a look at some exciting stuff coming from the community.
Firstly we want to apologize, because we know you’ve been patiently waiting for our v1.5 update. We want you to experience the update in it's best form, and for that to happen, we need a few more weeks to make sure the new gamemodes, new maps, performance improvements, and other content are polished and balanced. We will be moving our V1.5 release to January.
Downpour Interactive has grown a ton in the past few months, and we really think you'll like what we've been working on. We believe this update will have a little something for everyone.

Welcome to our fifth sitrep! In this Sitrep we'll talk about the release of update v1.4, CALL TO ARMS event announcement, Onward Merch store and what’s to come to Onward.
We’ve been working hard to fix the biggest issues so we can bring back the update just in time for Halloween! Along with a few balance changes to make Spec Ops more enjoyable.

Spec Ops: Reduced mag count for Marsoc in ammo boxes (now 50% chance to spawn a pistol mag)
Spec Ops: Added rare chance for Volk to get molotovs in the ammo boxes
Removed 2 point loss for Marsoc timeout
Reverted back to 6 minute timers for all maps but Abandoned We’ll be gathering intel from the community regarding new round lengths to be set in a future update
Fixes
Molotov: Fixed issue causing spawned fire not causing intended damage Expect exploded molotovs to cause a lot more damage now
C4 Clacker: Fixed the clacker not being hold to grip as initially intended
Uplink: Fixed issue causing code to show as 0000000
Subway:
Operations: Hunt - AI now spawn in the service tunnels
Fixed issue causing players to fall through staircases
Fixed issue that caused players to be unable to cross the 3rd rail on train tracks
Fixed issue that allowed players to walk through water tank pipes in service tunnels
Fixed issue that allowed players to climb pallets and potentially go through the roof of service tunnels
