The Complex can be punishing even for the most scarred veterans so to help new prisoners get into GTFO we have compiled a survival guide. And remember, even though there are bots available, your survivability increases drastically if you play with friends. Find new ones on our Discord server. And if you like it, GTFO is also 40 % — our biggest sale yet!
Are your friends still skeptical if they would enjoy the suffering of the complex? Their time is now. Starting on December 7th, we are initialising a Free Weekend here on Steam, making all seven currently active Rundowns available for all to try out. The Free Weekend unlocks at 10:00 AM (PT) Thursday, December 7th and ends 01:00 PM (PT) Sunday, December 10th. Set a reminder now!
Played before? Recruit new prisoners to your team. GTFO has bots but it's always better with people you trust. If your friends are not up to the task you can easily find more on our official Discord server.

For some, the spooky season comes once a year during Halloween but veterans of GTFO know that the fog is always thick down in the Complex. And the creatures always bite if you disturb them. But to celebrate this creepy holiday a bit extra we are offering 35 % off on GTFO so that you can get more friends into this hardcore co-op experience.
During the Holiday (up until the 2nd of November) you are also extra rewarded for completing expeditions - beat any challenge and get the Santonian Skinwalker helmet added to your cosmetic arsenal.
We are releasing a small patch today to correct a couple if things that the community reported after the release of ALT://Rundown 6.0. For some reason prisoners like it extra dark down in The Complex so we fixed some lights that over-exposed the horrors beneath. We also made sentries aim towards the body of headless chargers and items easier to pick up if they ended up in the wrong places.
And we may or may not have snuck something in there in preparation for Halloween.
Patch notes
Fixed bug where the lights in a couple zones were unintentionally changed
Fixed bug where Sentries were unable to aim at Chargers bodies
Fixed most scenarios where you couldn't pickup some carriable items if you dropped them in certain places on the ground
Updated silhouettes for players behind objects
If you need a refresher on what horrors ALT://Rundown 6.0 brings back we made this overview.
We are starting off this week with a patch for our latest addition to the available Rundowns in GTFO, the fan favourite ALT://Rundown 6.0 Destination. This patch fixes issues raised by the community and also makes some more weapon balancing changes. With all the previously Rundown specific weapons now in GTFO, the arsenal is packed with different options for a variety of play-styles and preferences.
Which ones are your go-to for your main and secondary weapon??

In preparation for the upcoming release of ALT://Rundown 6.0 we are offering 33 % on GTFO so that you can ensure that your team is stacked and ready for the drop into The Complex. The release is this Thursday, the 14th of September at 13:00 CEST but the sale will be active until the 26th of September.
With the release of ALT://Rundown 6.0 there will be 71 expeditions for your team to suffer in, spanning from the beginner-friendly A tiers to the gut-clenching nightmares of the E tier. How far down the dark tunnels has your team gone?
Prisoners, we have a date for our next release – ALT://Rundown 6.0 Destination will come out next Thursday, the 14th of September 13:00 CEST. This marks the end of the ALT Rundowns and will let players journey back into the horrors that were released when GTFO exited Early Access almost two years ago.
We are kicking off the summer with our biggest sale yet, get 33 % GTFO for a limited time. Descend for the first time or get your friends hooked on this extreme co-op experience, now offering six rundowns of content for you to suffer in.
We have also a limited drop on our merch store, the Baby Striker.
Bursting from the insides of a hideous creature, the baby strikers spread a new type of fear in the Complex. Outnumbering your team with a seemingly endless supply of foul crawlers, relentlessly nibbling at your flesh until you put them to sleep.
This one is considerably less dangerous, even huggable — though we don’t take any responsibility for the damage it may render on other stuffed collectibles nearby.
And if you happen to grab something else from the merch store, use the code LETTHEMSHOP25 for 25 % off on those items (excluding the Baby Striker).
