El Presidente is thrilled to be in the running for this year’s Steam Awards, and demands nothing less than absolute success for Tropico. He has run his beloved island for 4 years now and spread terro- uhm, free content with his 21 Updates since the release. Featuring new buildings like the Dungeon Entrance, maps, edicts, landmarks and languages. And with the recently added modding support for PC, he expresses his infinite love to YOU (as long as you vote for him!)
Want to give love back to your favourite Presidente? Vote Tropico 6 as 'Labor of Love'…or else!
Mastermind and Detective par excellence, El Presidente, has noticed his citizens have started to go missing and has sent his best intern Penultimo to investigate the case. After a week of thorough research and Tropican-Stalking, Penultimo has sent back 2 pieces of evidence, which hint towards a foreign invasion of Tropico, whose ultimate evil powers seem to be luring harmless citizens on „Dungeon Tours“ and turning them into weird little green things.
Rumor has it, the master of said Dungeon has come to challenge El Presidentes position as the worlds greatest dictator. Penultimo promised to infiltrate said Dungeon, but has yet to return….
In the meantime, you can now build your own 4th Dungeon Entrance in Tropico 6!
In case you too would like to join the evil forces, you can hop into the Dungeon and find out more here: https://dungeons4-game.com/
El Presidente is excited to announce, that he is ready to spread his infectious charm in his newest DLC Tropico 6 – Going Viral. Prepare that syringe, sanitize those hands (for a full thirty seconds), and slip into a clean set of scrubs because El Presidente is Going Viral in what promises to be his toughest battle yet. Faced with a microscopic, yet mighty threat, new diseases threaten to put all Tropicans at risk. The race for the cure starts today on PC and comes to console October 26 on Xbox One and Series X|S, and PlayStation 4|5.
Join El Presidente, as he delves into the world of pandemics and the chaos of political maneuvering as he aims to conquer or capitalize on four new diseases disrupting the daily life of loyal Tropicans. The Going Viral DLC introduces the new “Panic” mechanic which measures the Tropican’s reactions to these diseases. With this insight into their level of panic, will you raise the alarm to exploit the fear of your citizens or keep the population calm in the face of a potentially deadly threat? With the addition of these new viruses, the afflicted residents will experience severe harm, while others will only experience mild symptoms. As the fearless leader, pull the strings to keep the pandemic in check with nine new buildings and 16 new edicts. Build the Colossal Hospital to increase your medical capacities and place medical checkpoints to find infected individuals. Fight the plague in style with the new outfit option for El Presidente - the Plague Mask accessory. You will be perfectly prepared for any and all destruction this pandemic brings to Tropico.
