MyWorld has levelled up and is now 64bit rather than 32bit! This should give an overall performance boost during your adventures.
Editor improvements
Placing multiple objects into your world is now much quicker, whilst holding shift the new object now retains the previous placed objects rotation. Also when you press shift+r, it now adds 90' onto the current rotation angle.
New Boss
Today we are releasing our first new boss since release. He's the leader of the orc tribe. All hail the Orc Chieftain! The most aggressive boss we have in so far. He hits so hard the ground will rupture beneath your feet. You'll need to time your rolls carefully and pick the best openings for attacks to take him down. Apologies for not getting any new props/buildings etc into this build, the enemy creator and Mr Chieftain took up our time this week.
Enemy Creator
For any newcomers to MyWorld this week, our current main task is the enemy creator. From last week's update here's some info on upcoming exciting new feature! -
The reason for the recent enemy updates is due to our current main task, the enemy creator. The more built in enemies we can give you, the more choice you'll have in the creator. The creator will feature loads of new body parts to choose from (mix of our current enemies and lots of new models) including heads, arms, legs, torsos, weapons etc. All parts can be scaled up or down and recoloured. Left / Right arms and legs can be different too.
Stats can be assigned, damage, health and also choose which enemy ai and sounds are used. These can be saved out for use in your worlds, or shared on the workshop. More details will come as we push on with it.This is the first step in giving you unique control on how your worlds play and feel.
We can't give a release date just yet, but Ravey and I will be updating you in the coming weeks.
Have a great weekend, keep the feedback coming and happy creating.

Whenver you see an Orc, you know a goblin isn't far behind.. Following on last weeks update we've got 3 new enemies for you to add into your worlds. Ravey has also made some lockon and projectile tweaks, full patch thread >>here<<
Goblin Blaster
Shoots looping bombs, get too close and he'll give you a swift bop on the head
Goblin Bomber
The most wreckless enemy yet, will stop at nothing to take you down.
Goblin Miner
The weakest of the orc and goblin family, a bit like the orc grunt without the gap closer.
Enemy creator overview - (coming soon!)

*You hear trumpets sounding from above, perhaps you have taken one too many knocks on the head from a club skelly or perhaps it is the MyWorld Competition results!*
Yes I tried to go all RPG just then. Why? Because both Massy and myself have been blown away with the competition entries.
We wanted to play each and every one. It took us a while... a long while, but was it worth it? Absolutely!
We have seen things done with MyWorld that we never thought possible. Been on adventures that toyed with our morals. Laughed, been scared, been overwhelmed. In short we loved every moment, every carefully thought out story, every lovingly crafted world we visited.
Click the workshop link and hit subscribe to access the worlds in your workshop hub portals.
So without further rambling from me...onto the winners (no spoilers!):
An enormous well done and thank you to everyone who entered. We had so much fun and loved every moment.
Honourable Mentions:
Sol Stones by Omnivoyance
This one made our jaws drop. The ability to attach many different things in creative ways is used to the absolute max in this game. Really fun puzzles, really engaging world. Many moments that made us think "err.. is that possible in MyWorld?". Loved it. Really well done.
The Village of Kythis
Some of my favourite visuals. Every prop and building has been carefully considered.
Wizard's End by Avatre
Like an interactive book. Get a cup of tea and enjoy the journey.
Soul of lords by MistahBoweh
Serious dark tone with good level design. Hopefully this world will be expanded in the future!
The 8 shards by TheStoryTeller
Really big world with a lot of quests, consistent level design and theme.
Ocean Heights by wasdstomp
Imaginative use of terrain for waves, etc. Some nice views!
Night Blight by Firebert
Detailed night time town, really feels like you are battling through an old overrun castle. Big packs of skellys!
Jailbreak by Hemi Soolin
Sense of dread smashing through the barricades, lots of quests to be found inside the town with some funny dialogue - love to try 'cart racing'. Good balance of collect and kill quests. The captain has a rather dirty secret :S
damn u frodo by rudisaster
Amazing world design, the twisting stairs are so cool, really clever stuff
The Inferno by IotcSalad
Really enjoying the exploring and finding the route through. I never got lost thanks to great torch placement and being advised to look out for the torches.
Newport by benjiboy
Love the water and the atmosphere of this place, I spent a lot of time standing looking out at the waves, really well put together
Visit the workshop >>HERE<< to check out all the entries and share your own adventures.

A new build is live, bringing you 4 new unique orc enemies. These new enemy types will also be crossing over to our upcoming enemy creator. The creator will allow you to mix and match, scale, colour body parts, change weapons, edit stat points, assign abilities etc. Like worlds, your character creations will be able to be shared on the workshop. More info on this in the coming weeks. Update thread >>HERE<<
Orc Grunt
Total brute. He'll close the gap fast and deliver a nasty bash on the head.
Orc Brave
The grunts angrier, armoured brother. Watch out with the leaping stun attack!
Elemental Shaman
Casts attacking fire totems. There will be a defensive frosty slow totem next week too!
Restoration Shaman
Heals all his enemy pals in a radius around him. You'll have to chase him as he's bit of a wimp!
Have a great weekend everyone, happy building! We'll be announcing the competition winners next week too, stay tuned. ːsteamhappyː

A new build is now live, including a whopping 34 new items to fill your worlds with and updates to loot. Checkout the images below and click >>HERE<< for the full patch notes.
Loot update
Thanks everyone for the feedback on our loot launch last week, it's been a great help. This new patch contains a lot of balancing and tweaks, which should create a better experience on venturing up in difficultly levels. Head over to the patch thread above for a full breakdown.
There has also been some visual imrpovements. The pop-up when opening a chest is a lot less intrusive and the inventory back panel has been polished up.
Content Update
Every week alongside our bigger picture tasks we strive to bring new content to fill your worlds with. If you have any prop idea's you like to see, please share them >>HERE<< This update sees a boost to most of the editor tabs, including a new sunset 'theme' shown in the header image. The header also features a pre-made alchemy table, but there are individual potions and scrolls to be placed too!
New table types and food items, including pies and eyeballs, yum. Decorative chests and beds are also now available.
Fill your spooky woods with some 'dead' variations of existing trees and the grand 'ancient tree'.
New wall styles and wall pillars to add variation to your towns. Also 3 new gothic style 'old ruin' buildings can be seen in the header image.
Praise the sunset alongside some obelisks.
Development Update
Our new main focus is on adding a character creator into MyWorld, The character creator will initially allow you to create and share your own unique enemies and NPCs. Customisation will include loads of body parts to mix and match from (which you can also re-colour and scale), choice of abilities, stat points, weapons, the lot! Characters can be saved out for your own worlds and shared on the workshop. During this time you'll also see new enemies that will cross over into the creator. We'll be updating our Development plan thread early next week with further details. As always we'll be bringing you regular editor content updates alongside this.
Thanks for everyone's continued feedback on the forums, happy building and have a great weekend ːsteamhappyː
