Agony is coming and we have prepared a contest for you to celebrate it – this is your chance to get some exclusive Agony gadgets!

You have 11 days to impress the Red Goddess, starting today!

Suprise her with your creativity!


You can get amazing awards: The trophy for the first place is a secret wooden chest, covered in blood. It's contents remain a secret. What's inside? Will you be the lucky one? Will you open the Chest of Agony? Use any technique to show us your favorite character from Agony! It's up to you to decide in what form you will submit your work. Will it be a sketch of Succubus on a piece of paper? Or perhaps a picture of a Chort? Cosplay of a Martyr with a bag on his head? Be creative! Impress the Red Godess and win a fight for her attention! Become the person chosen by the Red Goddess herself!


Accept the regulations by writing a comment under the competition entry on Facebook. Each participant can send only one work, which may be presented on several photos. Permitted file formats: JPG, PNG, TGA, PSD.

Send your work to us: info@madmind-studio.com and remeber to write AGONY BOX in the subject of your message. The e-mail must include your name and surname. The competition ends May 22nd 2018, and the winners selected by Madmind Studio will be announced May 24th. Competition works that will be delivered to us later than May 22nd, will not be taken under consideration.

I’m coming back to you straight from the Hellish Grounds to confirm that Agony will see a simultaneous release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 29th, 2018! Just don’t party too hard out there! Remember that Succubus will react to any sound you’ll make, so it would be foolish to give away your position just before the window of freedom opens…

As you all have been curious about Agony we do have some information for you. Sadly we have to inform you that March 30th will not be the release date. We will inform you as soon as possible with the final release date of the game. Why is this? -With Agony being released across PS4, PC and Xbox we are facing last steps including polishing to support every player- no matter which platform - with the best possible experience. We wish this could have been done faster but ask for your patience to ensure you get the experience you deserver when Agony is released.



On the other hand we finally have all age ratings and can announce the supported languages in the game for release today:

- English
- French
- Italian
- German
- Spanish
- Russian
- Polish
- Turkish
- Portugese
- Chinese

(more languages might be added in the future)

1. Is this game canceled?!

No. Agony is still in development. We are polishing the game and waiting for the outsourced team to help us with the online submission process. We are using this extra time to polish the game, make focus tests, and expand the game even more, + we are preparing Agony marketing campaign.

2. WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE ?!!!!!!!1!111!!1!

Agony doesn't have an official release date yet. We don't want to give you an estimated date and then change it. We will give you release date when we will be 100% sure that it's solid and won't change.
Please stop writing to us hateful emails and stop with threats. We CAN'T give you a release date yet.

3. Is this game censored?!

Agony is a game for adult customers. We are doing everything we can to protect this game from any kind of censorship.
If this means that Agony will be banned in few countries then it's the cost that we can take.
But if we will be forced to remove anything to get "M" rating on consoles, then we will tell you about it, and most likely, show you all deleted scenes in good quality after the premiere. In that scenario, you can expect to see free "18+ patch" for pc. You have to understand that any rating above "M" automatically blocks the games on consoles.

At this point, we didn't remove or censor anything, and it looks like it's going to stay this way.

4. How long is the game?

Standard playthrough in the Story Mode should give you about 12-14h of gameplay, but if you want to unlock all of the seven endings, alternative passages, hidden chambers, and collectibles, you will have to spend around 35+ hours in the story mode.

The game also has "Agony Mode", where you can play endlessly in procedurally generated levels.
