The day has finally come, Citadel: Forged With Fire is officially at 1.0! As of today, we consider the game fully launched and live. It’s been one incredible journey over two years of Early Access on Steam. On behalf of the entire team at Blue Isle Studios, we wanted to offer a sincere thank you for your passion and excitement around the game. We read your feedback every day and have been integrating huge features, balance adjustments and bug fixes directly based on your feedback.
There are four new, high Mastery level weapons added to the game. Check them out below for more information!
Phoenix Katana: The Katana of the Phoenix provides wizards of honour with a weapon whose strength is matched with the fearsome agility of the legendary bird of flight. Blasting into battle with this blade will strike enemies with awe, unless you strike them first.
Stormrender: Inspiration for this creation strikes like a bolt from the sky, and the power from these catastrophic climate events can now be controlled by wielding witches and wizards of the land.
Black Dragon’s Grasp: This staff represents the power of pyromancy, and the ease at which the dragons of Ignus tame the flames. This ability is symbolically available to the strongest of sorcerers, and those who use this device are to be as feared as the most devastating of dragons.
Digit of Orcus: A device that epitomizes the cold evil that envelopes certain regions of Ignus. This wand takes form from the chilling clutches of a most disturbing demon and can be just as lethal. This wand is an exceptional weapon for fending off foes from a distance.
Looking Ahead
While we consider the game 1.0 complete, we are far from done with our development efforts on the game. In the weeks following launch, we will continue our normal schedule of bug fixes and adjustments. From a development perspective, we will continue to support the game the same way we have over the last two years, so continue to send in your feedback for the game, we are listening!

Players can download this data, put it in the save folder of their game and continue playing a single player game. Alternatively, players can also host a game using that data while renting a private server and load that data into the save folder.
We hope you enjoy and please feel free to let us know if you encounter any issues with the download!

Servers will be back up Wednesday, October 23rd (time TBD) in preparation for our full launch on Friday, November 1st. We'll have more to share on our launch day patch and new ways to play soon!
Mouth Movements Coming for VoIP Since our Early Launch launch two years ago, our RP community has frequently requested for this feature to be implemented and we’re happy to say that moving mouths for VoIP are finally coming! All those interested can expect to see this feature added by our 1.0 launch on November 1st.
As we approach our 1.0 Launch coming in exactly 2 weeks, we’d like to thank our community for all the feedback, patience and support you’ve given us for the last 2 years on this Early Access ride. We’ve learned a lot and couldn’t have done it without you! We’re looking forward to seeing this journey continue as we add more content and support the game moving forward.
You'll be pleased to know that RCON is officially supported in game. Check out the notes below for details on how to access remote console in Citadel and how to customize as needed:
Remote Console Overview
The remote console allows server administrators to execute server commands without being present in the game, they can load up the console in the web browser on their phone and quickly issue a ban, or announce a message to players.
To access your remote console, you will need to make sure your web server port is open. You will also want to make sure your router is routing the port to your machine correctly. The default remote console port and authentication info is as follows:
Do note that your game.ini may be blank and not contain the values above. That is intended, the defaults are bundled with the game server, you would only paste in alternative values to your game.ini if you wish to override these values.
Once you have configured your settings, restart your server. Companies such as G-Portal support remote console and already have the RCON port open and specified for you.
To connect, simply open a browser and enter [Server IP]:[RCON PORT]. If your server IP were 192.168.1.1 and the RCON port were 8889, you would enter 192.168.1.1:8889 into your web browser. This will bring you to a login screen, simply enter the credentials above. NOTE: It is highly recommended that you modify your login credentials and avoid unauthorized high level access to your server.
Once authenticated, you can use the “list” or “help” command to receive a list of all supported RCON commands.
Extending and Customizing the Console
The remote console supports the use of RESTful commands and the console source itself is able to be modified by the server owner. This means a server owner could create a UI with buttons if they prefer rather than entering commands into a console window.
To modify your console window source, navigate to: [Server Directory]\Citadel\Content\WebServerRoot
Here you can find all of the html/javascript source currently used to interact with the game server. A custom, reskinned or redesigned remote console can be made, used and redistributed freely amongst the community.
