Hello everyone, today another patch with cool feature for you!
Assembly
This new version of the assembly is more convenient, intuitive and user-friendly. It's not perfect yet but i think that will help new player and make the gameplay more realistic
The tree tabs "Primary", "Secondary" and "Accessory" are completely removed.
Instead of that : Movable camera!
As you can see the UI was cleared.
Camera control:
Rotate: middle mouse button
Translate: CTRL + middle mouse button
Zoom: Mouse wheel
Map
Another part of the old map was converted on the new format.
3D models correction and enhancement
And of course many bugs was fixed, If you found another bug, do not forget to report it on the Bug Report section of the Steam HUB is very important!

More models has been enhanced for the new engine, coordinate and scale has been corrected.

Assembly hitbox
Until now all slot use 2D rectangular to interact with components. Now it was no longer necessary to set a 2D coordinate. The empty slot was replace automatically by a 3D bounding box. I plan to make the camera movable during assembling that why I need 3D hitbox to interact with components.
I also make a new way to create slot directly in 3D models.
It will be a lot easier for modder to create new 3D models.
I need to update the steam guide.
Shader
Translucence materials and semi-transparent texture are now supported.
Performance, Memory usage, Loading
From now, all little assets are packed in "bank files" to improve greatly loading time and memory consumption. New loading procedure has been integrate especially for file banks. I measure a loading performance gain by 55% on my own computer with those particular files.
In theory in-game performance will also be better due to this change.
Reporting
In this patch I try a new tool: Sentry, this tool is actually used by many developers (CCP Game, Facepunch Studios, Mozzila, Autodesk...). It takes me too much time to develop and maintain my own reporting tool, if I have a good result I will completely replace my previous tool with Sentry.
And ofcourse many bugs was fixed, If you found a bug, do not forget to report it on the Bug Report section of the Steam HUB is very important!

With this new patch the new engine completely replace the previous one. All 3D asset has been rework to be able to use the new engine capabilities. The conversion is not completed yet, certain objects are better than other but I work hard to make them as beautiful as possible.
Several optimization need to be done for better performance and image quality.
You will notice certain "bug" on the map, that is normal this is because I use some workaround to display 3D object on a 2D Map.
That will change in a future patch when the entire map will be converted to 3D. I do not think necessary to spend time to fix this little details, they will disappears with the new map anyway.
