Update 0.8.3S is live and fixes an issue where the multiplayer servers were down. As most of you know I moved to NYC in the beginning of June and have been getting settled in and moved in hence the lack of patches in July. I’m about 85% done with getting Manhattan up to date and back in the game. We are adding new mechanics, interiors, and emergencies to the game as well as bug fixes.
Our texture artist Tommy has been hard at work and has created some exceptional skins for some other real life Brooklyn companies that surround the Brooklyn map area which we MAY expand in the future. For now these 8 new companies can be used as relocations, second alarm units, etc. I’ve chosen to include these companies in this patch while we finish up Manhattan. Thank you all for your patience!
We are hard at work bringing Manhattan back still and it should be ready soon! We added a new 111 Tower Ladder and a new KME Engine 214. Something new to keep you guys updated with new content while we shift our focus over to Manhattan. NOTE this did not take more than 30 minutes to do since all it took was a simple reskin.

Happy 4th of July everyone! We hope you all enjoy your holiday. In this hotfix I addressed an issue where some emergencies wouldn't work and some would not be synced in Multiplayer. The issue stemmed from some change in the code I made so that the Fire Academy scenarios would sync properly. I adjusted the code some more to maintain that fix and the emergencies in Brooklyn should work as expected now.
I need your help. The next issue we want to look into is solve is the many reports from some users crashing while loading the game. If you are someone who has this issue we need your help to solve it.
1. While loading, open task manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete) Click the performance tab. Leave this open while loading to see if anything is using over 90-100%. Pay close attention to CPU, GPU and Memory usage. 2. Many people report having performance issues with EMERGENYC. This may be caused by the game itself but may also be related to your PC components and we would like to try to help the community figure this out. If you would like to benchmark your PC and receive some feedback on what may need upgrading in regards to your PC components, please run this free benchmark below. Steps: 1. Click on the link below to download the benchmark 2. Make sure NOTHING is open in the background 3. Run benchmark 4. Once the benchmark is complete it will open a webpage with your results, please post the URL to that webpage in this text channel 5. Wait for benchmark to be reviewed and feedback will be given via PM.
3. After crashing, send us your crash files located here: C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\LocalLow\FlipSwitch Games\EMERGENYC If you are unable to find it, type "%APPDATA%" in the windows file explorer directory bar. Send us the error.log and or crash.dmp so we can try to track down the source of the crash and fix it asap! Once we are able to figure out the source of the crashes for these users, we will be able to fix it. Thanks!
0.8.3P is live immediately following 0.8.3O. We tracked down the main causes of lag in Multiplayer which had to do with backend stacktrace logging backup and a wrong line of code. We corrected these issues and performance should be substantially improved in Multiplayer. Thanks everyone again for your patience!

Firstly, I want to thank everyone for their patience while I made the biggest move of my life from Georgia to NYC which has been a long term goal of mine. I finally got settled in and spent today fixing some of the main issues that I found after returning to work. I will continue working on getting Manhattan and Montgomery County back in the game asap now that I've finally got my work station set up in my new apartment. Expect things to move much quicker now that I've got my own place and can work as long as I need to.
As most of you know, I am moving to NYC tomorrow so I have been packing and getting my affairs in order hence why the amount of fixes has slowed down a little this last week. Once I am moved in and settled in, things will pick up even quicker than before. Our main focuses are finishing reimplementing Manhattan and Montgomery County. I've been working hard on updating the maps with all of the new mechanics and features and am hurrying to get those ready to be re added. Thanks for all of your patience!

In this update we took time to address more bugs that have been reported as well as suggestions from the community to add things like functional blinkers, traffic cones, and we went through and polished the first person cab interactions with the switches.
