Steep™ - Ubi-Ligario


Dear Slopes Riders,

As you may already know, Steep is here to stay and its Community is at the heart of our game development. Hence, on August 29th, we’re inviting some of you to Ubisoft Annecy for a 3 days-workshop to discuss the following topics with our Devs:

• Competitive events, Tournaments and rewards improvements.
• UGC creation tools, submission/broadcasting platform and visibility.
• Exploration and free roaming: supporting player’s experience.
• Road to The Olympics: delivering a true Olympics fantasy.

WE DEFINITELY NEED YOUR INPUT THERE! It’s not technically possible to invite everyone, but we want to consider all your opinions. So please feed the Workshop forum with your ideas, feedback, and comments before August 28th so we can better understand and address your needs.

Just before you ask: what happens in the workshop doesn’t stay in the workshop! To keep you up to date with what we’re discussing there, we’ll be hosting a daily video recap on Facebook Live from 4pm UTC – stay tuned to our Steep Facebook page!

Scheduled Maintenance, new rewards and Extreme Pack availability - June 26th

On Monday, June 26th, we will be performing a scheduled maintenance on all platforms to apply a new patch. As a result the online features will be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.

10 AM - 12 PM CEST
4 AM - 6 AM EDT
1 AM - 3 AM PDT

Patch notes

The Extreme Pack DLC will be available on June 27th, during the day. After 6 PM CEST | 12 PM EDT | 9 AM PDT it should be available on all platforms.

We are also adding new free rewards related to others Ubisoft games, they will be available on the Ubisoft Club page from June 27th in the afternoon (Europe time). List of all rewards:

Steep expansion carves path to 2018 Winter Olympics

Steep Winter Olympic expansion

Imagine a world in which Steep [official site] was a game about brewing tea. Instead of racing down snowy peaks you’d be keeping an anxious watch over a set of mugs, trying to gauge the strength of a brew and serving it to a visitor’s specifications. Harder levels would feature darker mugs making it hard to tell whether you’d got a tincture on your hands or something so full of tannins your cheeks would pucker at the bitterness.

There’s a platter of free stuff going at Ubisoft this weekend. Post-apocalyptic online shooter The Division [official site], winter sports sim Steep [official site] and two-wheeling platformer Trials Fusion [official site] all available to play for diddly squat until 8pm on Sunday (UK time) through Ubisoft’s Uplay client.

Now, I know some of these games are getting long in the tooth but there are probably some of you out there that, like me, have been meaning to play at least one of them but have never got round to it.
