Wendy was one of our lucky winners in the last Phone Fling Vote, and now she's almost ready to make the leap to being a fully date-able character! Hooray!

BUT - first things first! Unlocking Wendy is going to take a few steps, so read carefully.

FIRST - As of today, we've just added a new (short) Phone Fling for Wendy. You'll need to have all of her Phone Fling conversations finished to unlock her as a full girl. If you're having trouble unlocking all of Wendy's Phone Fling messages, note that you need Iro at "Sweetheart" level.

SECOND - Next week (starting midnight UTC time on May 6), you'll need to go to the Limited Time Event pop-up, and start collecting all of Wendy's tokens. You need to log in once a day to get each one, or grab some diamonds and short-cut your way to victory.

Do both those things, and Wendy will be added to your Girl list. Huzzah!

If you miss the event, you're not out of luck, but you’ll need diamonds to unlock her. Diamonds can be earned by completing relationship levels, grabbing the daily rewards, or buying some from the store.

So don’t miss this special chance - she even comes with whipped cream. What are you even doing still reading this?

Wendy is a load of fun, and waiting for your (chicken) tender embrace. So get in there, unlock her, and show her you’re ready for the whole buffet. Food jokes are awesome!

Okay, so this is cool. A bit spoiler-y. If you don’t know much about the ending of Crush Crush, maybe just skip this news post and discover what we’ve added later.

This week’s Phone Fling stars a very special, very important character. And, unlike most other Flings, it actually continues the story a bit from a previous Phone Fling. Neato!

Over the years, we’ve been growing the Crush Crush universe sort of organically. Adding story lines that overlap, a bit of a quest we thought would be fun, a bit of mythology. And now, all of that work is starting to add up - the “mythology” of Crush Crush will begin to matter in ways we never imagined in the beginning. It’ll start to affect other games we’re working on and imagining. And some of that begins here.

This week’s Phone Fling stars QPernikiss. If that name doesn’t mean anything to you, it’s because she’s literally the ‘last’ character in the game. The most difficult to unlock. The most difficult to complete.

And depending how far you’ve made it into her story, the fact she is messaging you might come as a SIGNIFICANT surprise.

We got something a little different for you today. It’s different in that, depending on how far you are in the game, you may not see this little surprise for a while. But don’t worry - it’ll be worth the wait.

Today’s latest Phone Fling features a gal by the name of “The Dark One”. If that doesn’t mean anything to you yet, well then… Keep playing.

If you DO know who that is though, you might be a little… Shall we say “surprised” to be hearing from her? What with the way things worked out between the two of you.

This is a little experiment to try adding a little “denouement” to one of the characters already in the story. We hope you enjoy it. It just so happens we have a thing for moody goth girls with large… personalities. So we’re excited.

In case you’re still confused - The Dark One is one of the game’s later characters. And her Phone Fling unlocks once you finish her story. So get in there and do it! (And we hope you enjoy the journey).
