Last week was actually Crush Crush’s 1 year anniversary! It’s been a whole year since we launched our little game on the internet and started this fun and flirty journey.
In celebration of this auspicious occasion, we’ve got a big update almost ready that’s going to rock your socks! This update will have:
2 new girls, whose fates will determine the ending of the Crush Crush storyline!
A saucy formerly-Nutaku-exclusive girl who will be added for everyone to enjoy!

I just wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone and give you the quick run-down of what we're planning for Crush Crush:
Holiday sale takedown (just now) ...it was really awesome to see how many people got special outfits for their waifus! I'm so happy you liked them <3
Our final girls are coming up in time for the 'one year since Crush Crush first launched' anniversary, based on when we first came out with our beta on Kongregate. That's Feb 9.
After we release the final girls we'll be launching a mobile version for iPhones/ iPads/ Androids. We need to do some heavy refactoring of the UI/layout for that since most people like to play in Portrait mode and our game is in landscape.
Voice Actresses!! We held an open casting call for many roles and will be finalizing the cast in February. It's going to be awesome to have all our girls speaking in the game (in English). The update for that will likely happen around Spring, but it'll be cool because those same actresses will be used in our Visual Novel since it'll feature many of the same characters.
After working on Crush Crush for over a year straight, Programmer Panda and I are finally taking a break this January to recharge our batteries... So I've set up a Steam account for my friend 'TroubleshooterPanda' who will be jumping in to chat/answer questions and handle support emails. Oji Panda should also be around to chime into discussions too :) Knowing me, I won't be completely relaxing on my vay-k though, as I have a ton of ideas I want to flesh out for our Crush Crush VN.
I mentioned it in my latest video but we are moving forward with plans to make a boy version of Crush Crush (as a separate game) which I'm calling Blush Blush. It's going to have the same humor, lighthearted story, and greatly improved art. I think you're gonna like it!
It's too early to share any details or concept art yet but we are making a Visual Novel with our girls, and going to try a Kickstarter in April. Reasons for that are the cost of original music, voice acting, background artwork and animation...it can be a hefty cost to an indie dev team ^_^;;
Lastly, the thing I'm probably the most excited for is a collaboration we've been working on with YandereDev; since Ayano has a cameo in our game we're delighted to say that some of our girls will be showing up in his game Yandere Simulator probably some time later this year. So on our side, we've been getting 3D models ready so they can show up as a special Crush Crush mode easter egg!!

This is a pretty huge update, and has been in the works for quite some time. I'm excited to announce some of the major back-end changes and engine modifications that we have been working on :D Oh, and there's a sale on for the holiday season, plus new holiday outfits that are available for a limited time!
New Features
Okay, we're excited about this! The old game size was around 500-600MB depending on your platform. The new game size (with no loss in quality) is under 200MB! We were able to trim almost 2/3 of the build size off. We also now dynamically load assets on boot, so you should find the game boots a lot quicker than before.
There is a new loading screen when the game first starts that identifies how many assets are being streamed from the disk. The game takes longer to load the more girls you have unlocked, but should in all cases be faster than it used to be. The game should also use far less RAM.
New holiday outfits and store support for bundles.
Some other new holiday features (snow particles, date images, etc).
Bug Fixes
Ensure that Ayano will make comments about Karma and Sutra as well.
Make sure that the dark background added in some memory album scenes will not clip against some of the UI.
As mentioned, the Holiday outfits are now available! You can purchase each individually in the Gifts tab, or get every girl's holiday outfit when you buy the '55 diamond' bundle or higher. Once you get a girl to Lover status the outfits will become wearable and will stay in your inventory even after we take down the holiday update/offer.

Hey everyone! This is our Black Friday update! We have a few new updates to the game, including typos, bug fixes and more. The store also has a sale on for the next 3 days ^_^
New Features -Renamed some of the prestige and skip reset information and included new descriptions. -Overhauled how the game gets information about store prices, etc. This allows us to run diamond sales and other events more easily.
Bug Fixes -Lots of small typo fixes. -Get the correct hobby names in the Stats section of each girl. -Show 'Generica' instead of 'Ayano' notification when Ayano is first unlocked. -Add commas in a few more places where we have space. -Fix up some errors with shared WebGL code. -Fix bug where 'New Time Unlocked' showed up after every Prestige, even when time did not unlock. -Bump some of the UI around to help with adding commas.
