As you may or may not know, Gold Rush: The Game is coming to consoles. In the fourth quarter of 2019, PS4 and XBox One players will be able to experience Gold Rush on their devices.
Thank you for your reports and suggestions! We have fixed several issues that you have stumbled on and modified random events system. Check out the full changelog:
Fixes: • Fixed dirt's texture in buckets. • Fixed pink-colored reinforced parts after loading the game. • Fixed Pickup Truck's bed parts' locking. • The hoses are now reset if they fell below the ground level. • Corrected specifications in the laptop. • Added option to listen to the Internet radio in settings. • Made it possible to enter the Power Generator without jumping. • Fixed bug with Stories needed to be pressed twice to pick. • Fixed bug with inability to pour water to the bucket via a hose. • Fixed Character reset but, that transported Player to the Nighthawk claim. • Fixed Hog Pan's third mat interaction. • Corrected 12 am/pm bug. • Fixed Water Tower's middle valve spinning. • Fixed Excavator arm's occlusion culling when digging at a certain depth. • Adjusted Wooden Crate colliders to simplify interactions with items. • Fixed bug with the first Worker card not being highlighted by default when entering Hired workers list.
Random events: • Fixed random events' incorrect occurrence chance. • Changed Gold Theft event condition: now the thief only steals the gold that has been earned on the day of the theft. • Added occurrence chance's weight factor to each event:
Theft of a single random part from a machine - 10%.
Destruction of a single part from a machine - 10%.
Theft of the fuel (emptying the fuel tank) - 15%.
A single random employee quits - 25%.
Theft of 5% of gathered Gold (during a single day) - 10%.
Theft of 10% of earned Money - 0% (the event can no longer happen).
Laptop's malfunction - it does not work for a single day - 25%.
No fuel on the Fuel Station - not possible to use it for a single day - 5%.
EDIT: In other words: there is a 5% chance everyday that a random event will occur. If it does, there is a 25% chance that it will be a laptop's malfunction, 10% chance that it will be a Part's Theft, etc.
The new worker is here to help you manage your gold mine more effectively. Get notifications when parts reach low durability or when Wash Plant elements (like mats) are full. Find out more about Tier 1-3 effects below.
Reinforced Parts
All breakable parts received their reinforced substitutes. They last longer, but come with greater costs.
Transport Crate
Meet the Transport Crate - the greatest convenience item since the invention of the microwave. With this new equipment, you will be able to hold and carry multiple items at once.
Parts Analyzer
Allows you to easily check the current durability of selected parts. Simply approach the working machine and select Parts Analyzer.
Changes:
Added the reinforced set of breakable parts, which have greater durability, but also a greater price. They can be distinguished by a different color. Players can now choose to use more expensive parts, which will last longer. Reinforced parts are available in the Store.
Added Wooden Crates. Players can use them to carry multiple items at the same time.
Added new Tool: Parts Analyzer, which can be used to check the durability of the part it points at.
Added new Worker: Overseer (see Tier 1-3 effects below).
Added new random events (see the full list below).
Pickup Truck is now moved next to the player after being teleported to the Hotel when Permafrost hits.
Pickup Truck no longer breaks when the Permafrost hits.
The Headlight lightning now works as Flashlight, but with greater brightness. You can carry the equipment with the Headlight on.
Removed Flashlight from the toolbar.
Magnetite Separator stops processing dirt when the bucket is full (just like the Gold Nuggetator).
Added 12-hour game time display option in the Settings -> Game -> Clock Time.
Added information about fuel consumption to the Store.
Added a new button to the Generator: Start All.
Workers are paid at midnight.
Loan daily payments are collected at midnight.
Statistics are checked at midnight, no matter at what time they are displayed to the Player.
The randomization of workers in Retrain Workers option now works as drawing a new one (from the pool of available machines).
Added the possibility of the Fuel Station running out of fuel.
Added prompt informing about the engine being turned off when trying to use Excavator's arm.
Changed Map's moving icons.
Added new valves to Water Towers.
Adjusted pan's collider to fit the bowl more accurately.
Added Fuel Tank's opening sound.
Added the possibility to open Fuel Tank's cap.
Small Electric Water Pump's cap is now automatically opened before refueling.
Added closing animations to lids and caps.
Added new notification when the engine has been turned off but the lights are still on.
Changed Magnetite's selling prompt text.
Reduced the required amount of cables being attached in one of the Tutorial tasks from 4 to 3.
Changed Wash Plant's elements snapping during setup on the Easy Mode. The correct rotation of the element is no longer necessary.
Added more markers in the Tutorial to the Trommel, the Bank during the
Claim upgrade task, the Front-End Loader, Duplex Jig buckets, and ST Sluicebox buckets.
Added new Tutorial task, which requires Players to sell the Gold Bar in the Tutorial.
Changed wording in keybindings for the Excavator: one part of the Bucket has been renamed to Thumb, Big Arm to Boom, and Small Arm to Stick.
Added Tool icons and associated keybindings to the in-game Show Controls menu.
Added Romanian Pickup Truck skin.
Added Leaderboards Pickup Truck skin to Top10 Players accounts.
Overseer:
Tier 1: Shows notification when the part reaches 0.3 durability. Adds a Yellow version of the outline when below 0.3 and not yet destroyed (if Overseer's performance equals 100%).
Tier 2: Adds Red ray over the destroyed machine to be more noticeable from far away. Increases the Outline visibility range of destroyed/almost destroyed parts by x2,5 (if Overseer's performance equals 100%). Decreases the chance of bear attacking the cables and workers by 50% (if Overseer's performance equals 100%).
Tier 3: Adds notification when any element of the Wash Plant system is full. Makes parts outline gradually change their color depending on their current durability. Decreases the chance of bear attacking the cables and workers by 100% (if Overseer's performance equals 100%).
New random events
Every day there's a 1% chance that one of the following random events will happen at 4 am (or when the Player gets up):
Theft of a single random part.
Destruction of a single part.
Theft of the fuel (emptying the fuel tank)
A single random employee quits.
Theft of 10% of gathered Gold.
Theft of 10% of earned Money.
Laptop's malfunction - it does not work for a single day.
No fuel on the Fuel Station - not possible to use it for a single day.
Balance:
Decreased Bank loan interest rate.
Decreased Excavator's fuel usage.
Increased Front-End Loader's fuel usage.
Increased Excavator's Bucket size.
Increased Big Excavator's movement by 15%.
Increased Big Excavator's hydraulic speed by 10%.
Decreased Big Excavator's price.
Decreased Front-End Loader's reverse movement speed by 20%.
Decreased Front-End Loader's bucket size.
Increased Front-End Loader's price.
Decreased Bulldozer's fuel consumption.
Decreased Bulldozer's price.
Increased T4 and T5 equipment prices.

Mechanic now charges X percent of particular part's cost for X percent of the part fixed. There is no longer a flat rate per the percentage of the part fixed.
Decreased Worker's retraining cost.
Decreased the chance of bear attacking the cable.
Minor Tutorial balance changes.
Fixes & Optimization:
Added culling to machines, which are out of sight (optimization).
Disabled Trommel, Shaker, and Duplex Jig animations when out of sight (optimization).
Reduced machine computations for the machines, which are currently not being used (optimization).
Hoses and cables optimization.
Fixed blinking tree shadows.
Trees' shadows are now dependent on graphics settings.
Fixed gold bar purchase double-press bug on a gamepad.
Fixed option to close Laptop by pressing on a gamepad.
Fixed Laptop's purchase prompt on a gamepad.
Fixed bug with inability to leave DigTube after loading the game on a gamepad.
Fixed Map's square selection bug on a gamepad.

Open Beta branch is a voluntary option and it may not reflect the quality and content of actual Update 1.5.3. Save files from Open Beta version won't be transferred to a live build.

The first Leaderboards season is coming to an end! Make the best out of the remaining time. Leaderboards will close on Monday, March 11, at 9:00am UTC. Push it to the limit!
Contrary to what we said before, the 2nd Season WILL NOT launch immediately after the first one. We agree, that it would be nice to have a little break between seasons :)

On March 11, the first season of Leaderboards will end. You will be able to continue playing on that save file, but the score will no longer be counted in Leaderboards. The second season will start on the same day. TOP 10 players in each season will receive a special vehicle skin. There are two more weeks for you to push your gold mining operation to the limit and win big time. No guts, no glory!
