The Japanese Tech Tree has grown a new branch of six researchable heavy tanks. All of them boast strong armor and good mobility. Starting from Tier VII, tanks of the new branch feature unique equipment that improves either ground crossing capacity or vertical gun turn limits.



The Garage and Castilla map have received new graphics that will delight you with realistic materials and lighting. Trees sway from blast waves caused by shots and explosions, branches move apart as tanks drive through bushes… In three words, it's sheer beauty! The new dynamic resolution option will help you appreciate it to the fullest. Make sure to check out the system requirements and enjoy improvements without any drops in performance!



We've been planning to rework the military honor functionality for a long time and finally decided to split it into Reactions and Reports. Reactions allow one to express their emotions after battle. They're like emojis or stickers in a messaging app. Reports are a whole different story. They're intended for reporting violations, such as unsporting conduct, provocative communication, or inactivity in battle. The new system will identify and impose just punishment on regular offenders based on your reports, so don't let them get away with misbehavior.


In the player profile, military honor will be replaced with information about maximum damage, such as the amount of damage, in which vehicle, and on which map the damage was dealt, as well as the date and time.

These stats don't include battles fought prior to Update 9.0 or battles in fun modes.

Following many open tests, research studies, and player surveys, we've reworked the aiming system. The reticle's appearance will remain the same while its behavior will significantly change. The reticle indicator will react better to the player's actions, move smoother relative to the terrain, and follow the target more accurately.

During this Update, all attachments will be available in the Camouflage menu at a 50% discount!

The Moose Legendary camo for the Lansen C will also be added to the camo selection menu. A beast known for its fearlessness and unpredictability will appear on the turret, cold winter colors will cover the hull, and the tank's battle name will change to Lansen Moose.

• The T-34/100, Škoda T 25, Object 252U with its Vigilant Legendary camo, as well as the American Eagle attachment were updated to the new graphics quality.
  
• A progress bar towards receiving a tank will now be shown when tapping the Charm icon or part of the certificate for a tank icon in the Storage.
  
• Clan supply discounts on tanks will no longer be displayed in the Tech Tree. Instead, you can check the discount on the screen of the selected tank.

World of Tanks Blitz is taking part in Warhammer Skulls 2022, an inter-game festival on a planetary scale! The harsh and grim atmosphere of the Warhammer 40,000 universe arrives in the game in the form of two armoured monsters—the large-calibre Vindicator and the fast-firing Predator. Both of them are accompanied by themed avatars, a new background, and missions for new players!

From June 1 to June 8, new players who completed training will receive a special mission: achieve 5 victories during the day. As a reward, they will receive the Aquila Epic avatar and another mission: to inflict 10,000 HP of damage. As a reward for the second mission, they will get the Intercessor Epic avatar.

It's now easier to complete Operations! You can complete missions within a week without losing progress for any days you may have missed. The number of levels has been adjusted too, decreasing from 80 to 60. However, the number of rewards remains mostly unchanged. Finally, a License that allows for Operations to be completed in a more straightforward manner has also been introduced.

We're continuing to refine the way the game's economy works. This time, we're making some adjustments that affect Premium shells. Their cost is now directly related to the tank's tier, as well as to their penetration and damage. Some shells purchased using gold and credits will go up in price slightly, while some will become cheaper. The cost of shells for Premium tanks will become less or remain the same.

After analyzing the feedback collected from players regarding the updated battle results screens, we decided to return Base XP. It will be displayed in all battle types except Rating Battles. By default, players' results are sorted by damage caused, but we also added the option to sort them by XP. Due to interface specifics, long nicknames may be displayed in a shortened form in battle results.

The mythical Qinglong for the Type 59, the daring Interceptor for the T-100 LT, the wild Rhino for the M48A2 Räumpanzer, the mighty Vigilant for the Object 252U, and the venomous Snakebite for the Krupp-Steyr Waffenträger became available in the camo selection menu.

Owners of the following three tanks will soon receive offers to buy new Legendary camos: the cartoonish Win Peaks for the AMX 30 1er prototype, the jade Gongbi for the WZ-120-1G FT, and the post-apocalyptic Burn for the K-91.

• The Vickers Mk. F, the Jagdpanzer E 100 with its Mighty Legendary camo and Spezialset attachment, as well as the Grille 15 with its Troublemaker and RA1DER Legendary camos received improved graphics.
  
• Mad Games: Tracks can no longer receive critical damage after the High-Octane Fuel modification expires.
  
• The bug where it was difficult to get a drowned enemy tank out of the crosshairs was fixed.
  
• The bug where the sound of tracks wasn't audible when driving over some objects was fixed.
