List of Update 0.29.5611 Changes

Age of Rage Loot Crates with M-95 Degman

In this update, we are adding the Age of Rage Loot Crates to the currently active Battle Path. These will contain the M-95 Degman Tier 8 Main Battle Tank. The M-95 Degman is a Croatian prototype MBT that combines the Soviet hull shapes with a western turret. What makes it different is the choice between two guns:
  • 125mm 2A46 Russian-MBT-style gun
  • 120mm CTG western-MBT-style gun
You can read more about the vehicle in our dedicated article.

As for the Age of Rage Loot Crates, they work the same way as the BMPT Mod. 2017 Loot Crates during the last Battle Path:
  • They can be purchased for Battle Coins in the Garage, specifically in the Battle Path, Loot Crate section
  • They contain blueprint pieces for the vehicle, 100 of which must be assembled to obtain it (alternatively, the vehicle itself can drop directly, although this is rare)
General Changes
  • Fixed an issue that causes lags during various actions such as selling something in the Garage, selecting vehicles etc.
  • Fixed an issue that causes parts of vehicles to appear black
  • Fixed an issue where sub-caliber shells could, under some circumstances (ricochet), damage the internal modules of a vehicle without actually damaging the vehicle’s hitpoints
  • Moscow Calling Special Operation 3: fixed an issue where the cargo delivery point would sometimes disappear after the delivery of the second cargo piece
  • Moscow Calling Special Operation 3: it is now enough for a single cargo transport to reach the final destination point to successfully complete the mission (previously, all of the transports had to be present)
  • Moscow Calling Special Operation 3: fixed an issue where the second convoy left the map even before the time to capture it ran out
  • Moscow Calling Special Operation 3: fixed an issue where the capture points would not appear properly on low graphics settings
  • BM Oplot: fixed an issue where the APS module model would lose its animation upon repairing it in battle
  • BMPT Terminator Prototype: fixed an issue where its smoke grenade launchers were missing on the visual model
  • Leclerc: fixed an issue where both the stock and the upgraded smoke grenades had the same properties
  • Leclerc T4: fixed an issue where its accumulated Experience and progress would not appear correctly
  • T-90 Rage skin: our local anarchists finally realized putting a carpet on engine vents was not exactly a smart idea. The carpet was thus cut to make space for the engine vents
  • Type 96: fixed the missing ECU override active ability in the Garage
  • ZUBR PSP: fixed an issue where the upgrade unlock progress did not display properly
  • Fixed an issue where, when attempting to purchase multiple consumables, only one consumable was purchased instead
  • Fixed an issue where the Armor Inspector feature would not show more than five types of shells even if the inspected vehicle had more available
  • Fixed an issue where immobilized vehicles with destroyed tracks would shake when using the hydraulic suspension ability
  • Fixed the appearance of tracers fired at short distances
  • SPGs now start PvE matches fully loaded
  • Fixed a number of small UI issues
  • Fixed a number of small vehicle visual model issues
  • Fixed some issues that caused the game to crash

With the Moscow Calling season released, Francine De Laroche’s French line finally complete and the Age of Rage Battle Path in full swing, it’s time to take a look at the plans we have for the rest of this year’s summer.

First, the question that’s probably on many people’s minds – when will the last Moscow Calling Special Operations mission be available? The answer is – late July. Even though we wanted to release all four missions at once during the Update 0.29 launch, there were just too many things we wanted to polish before bringing you the final part of this unforgettable experience. We’ll make sure this mission is properly tested and ready so that you can truly enjoy this Special Operation’s grand finale.

But that’s, of course, not all that we have in store. As usual, apart from weekly offers, we’ll be also offering bonuses and goodies for you to enjoy. We are working on several events, more historical camouflages and other cool items for July and August as well as on the content of the next season that we will start unveiling soon.

The next season will be coming around the end of summer and will, amongst other really cool things, feature new progression vehicles for an existing dealer. We can promise you that they will be amongst the most unique and exciting machines to ever appear in Armored Warfare – stay tuned for more information!

See you on the battlefield!

Since June 2019, Armored Warfare includes some very special events in its weekend program.

These events include older Special Operation re-runs as well as the newly introduced War Games mode and are open ever weekend from Friday CEST afternoon until Sunday evening.

This weekend, for the first time, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the War Games Labyrinth mode that was, until now, available only on the PTS. In the Labyrinth mode, a team of players will have to capture bases that will appear one after another in a maze of city streets. The appearance of each base will be tied to a timer and capturing it will extend the limit, allowing you to fight your way towards the next one.

Speaking of fighting, groups of constantly appearing AI opponents do their best to prevent them from achieving the objective. Will you be able to navigate through the deadly streets until the timer runs out?

Here’s why you definitely should not miss out on this weekend event:

The War Games mode offers you the opportunity to obtain a unique Loot Crate that contains all of the following:
  • 500 Bonus Battle Coins for the Age of Rage Battle Path
  • 10 Experimental Field Rebuild Kits (normally obtainable only via Battalion activities
  • Random diamond booster
  • Random 1-day temporary Premium vehicle
In short, the weekend modes are the best way to obtain some bonus rewards!

We hope that you enjoy these weekend events and will see you on the battlefield!

Both were observed on the Leclerc MBT, sometimes even on vehicles from the same series.

These camouflages are available:
Please note that each of these camouflages can be installed on any vehicle that has the camouflage customization feature available (any vehicle with the exception of vehicles with permanent skins) and that each of these camouflages can be used in all three environments.

ERC-90 F4 République

The ERC 90 (also known as “Sagaie”) is a French heavily armed reconnaissance vehicle and tank destroyer, named after a type of African spear. It was developed by Panhard from 1975 specifically for export, although France did purchase 192 in the 1980s. You can learn more about its history in our dedicated article!

In Armored Warfare, the ERC 90 is a Tier 5 Premium Tank Destroyer. It’s one of the most popular vehicles amongst Tier 5 tournament players – and for a good reason! It combines a powerful 90mm cannon with excellent mobility, making it a truly deadly opponent. It’s fast and agile and when operated by an experienced player, the enemies don’t have a clue what hit them. The République version of the ERC-90 F4 also comes with unique French-themed camouflage!

Aside from being available alone with a discount, the following bundles are also available on MyLoot:

Improved Bundle with 35% discount, containing:

Armored Warfare - Silentstalker
Commanders!

We are happy to introduce the second and final part of Francine De Laroche’s vehicle branch, bringing you the long-awaited Char Leclerc and several other vehicles.

The following vehicles are now available:
As for the Al-Hussein MBT, it replaces the Ariete in the Challenger branch of vehicles. The Ariete is now an alternative Tier 8 option for the French branch. Please note, however, that it will not be possible to unlock the Tier 9 Leclerc from the Ariete. As for the exchange itself, the following rules apply:
  • Ariete now counts as a Francine De Laroche vehicle (for the purpose of achievements)
  • If you had the Ariete purchased in your Garage, you will automatically receive Al-Hussein
  • If your Ariete has accumulated at least one point of Experience, the Al Hussein will be awarded to you fully unlocked
  • If the Tier 9 token unlocked on the Ariete was used already, it will not be possible to unlock on the Al-Hussein MBT
This second half of the branch comes with new features:
  • Commander Vincent Girard can be unlocked from the Tier 10 Leclerc (learn more about him)
  • New Pressure Control retrofit will be available for unlocking from the VCAC Mephisto (learn more)
  • Level 3 retrofit is now available for unlocking from the Leclerc
  • The Mastery system is now available for the Leclerc T4
  • New visual customization options
The Level 3 (v3) retrofit Improved Barrel Lining is obtainable from the Tier 9 Leclerc MBT. It grants the following bonuses:
  • 13 percent bonus to Rate of Fire (same as Improved Gun Breach v2)
  • 5 percent reduction to Maximum Spread (same as Advanced MRS v1)
In order to obtain it, one of the following feats must be performed 10 times:
  • PvP (Random Battles): Be the one in your team to receive the most hits (no fewer than 10) while having Vincent Girard command your vehicle. You also need to resist at least 1.000 damage and damage no fewer than 7 vehicles in one match
  • Global Operations: Be the one in your team to receive the most hits (no fewer than 10) while having Vincent Girard command your vehicle. You also need to win, resist at least 5.000 damage and damage no fewer than 12 vehicles in one match
The Mastery system, currently only available for the Tier 10 Leclerc T4 MBT, will test your skill with that vehicle. It requires a completion of the following achievements 4 times:
  • Obtain a Steel Eagle epic medal by helping destroy the largest amount of enemy vehicles on your team in Random Battles (at least 12 vehicles)
  • Complete the Steel Avalanche mission by winning a PvP Random Battle match without taking any losses or a Global Operations match without losing more than 300 team points
And last but not least, there are the new visual customization options:

Leclerc Prototype – Rock snow camouflage:

VCAC Mephisto – Stingray desert camouflage:

Leclerc – Rock woodland camouflage:

Leclerc T4 – Stingray snow camouflage:

We hope you will enjoy this new branch and will see you on the battlefield!

List of Update 0.29.5602 Changes

New Francine De Laroche Vehicles

We are introducing the second part of Francine De Laroche’s vehicle branch Armored Warfare, consisting of the following vehicles:
  • Leclerc Prototype Tier 7 MBT
  • VCAC Mephisto Tier 8 TD
  • Al-Hussein Tier 8 MBT (replacing the Ariete in the Challenger branch)

  • Leclerc T4 Tier 10 MBT
These vehicles come along with additional features such as new camouflages and Commander Vincent Girard. More information will be released in a dedicated article.

New Special Operation

The third Moscow Calling Special Operation that we promised earlier is now available, continuing the story of the disastrous Moscow summit and the events that followed. It’s bringing three new achievements:
  • Moscow Resident 3
  • Quick Robbery
  • Not a Problem
ZUBR PSP – Additional Features

We are introducing additional progression elements to the ZUBR PSP Tier 7 Premium Tank Destroyer, obtainable for completing the Moscow Contract – specifically, three different upgrades. In order to obtain them, a certain number of Contract Missions have to be completed:
  • ATGM Control Unit or Advanced Fire Control, boosting gun and ATGM accuracy, obtainable for completing 50 daily Contract Missions (or 10 weekly ones)
  • Flash Suppressing Kit, boosting Camouflage and reducing Camouflage penalties, obtainable for completing 150 daily Contract Missions (or 10 weekly ones)
  • Improved Loading Mechanism, boosting reload speed, obtainable for completing 300 daily Contract Missions (or 30 weekly ones)
General Changes
  • For the sake of logical difficulty progression, we renamed the Special Operations difficulty levels from Challenging and Hardcore (Tier 9-10) to Hardcore and Extreme (since the lower Special Operations difficulty is on par with the higher standard PvE mission one)
  • Fixed the issue where V-sync setting would not save correctly
  • Fixed the issue that made the Head Start Contract Mission impossible to complete
  • Fixed the issue where obtaining Battle Path skins would sometimes (rarely) lead to the loss of progress on the vehicles that can use them
  • Fixed the issue where Crew Experience progress would sometimes (rarely) reset to the lower Crew level
  • AFT-10: fixed the incorrect ATGM nerf – missiles now accelerate faster and the camouflage penalty for firing was reduced from 0.2 to 0.05 per shot
  • BMPT series: ATGMs now fly from correct spots
  • BWP-2000: fixed the aiming issue and reduced the efficiency of this vehicle’s HE shells by reducing their damage and penetration (from 25mm to 20mm) as well as the armor thickness needed to actually deal damage
  • K21 XC-8: Improved this vehicle’s acceleration and braking properties
  • M50 Ontos: The amount of smoke charges increased from 4 to 8, the vehicle now has a two-round smoke shell magazine with 4 second reload time and the reload time of this entire magazine is 40 seconds
  • PL-01: Improved this vehicle’s acceleration and braking properties
  • T-15 Armata: fixed the model of its destroyed missile launchers
  • Moscow Calling Special Operation 1: Fixed the issue that some bot kills to sometimes not count correctly for the purpose of objective completion
  • Moscow Calling Special Operation 1: The enemy PL-01 now appears with correct “stealth” camouflage
  • Moscow map: grass is now rendered correctly
  • Fixed an issue where the Commander progress acceleration button was sometimes appearing for Premium commanders with fixed skills
  • Fixed an issue where the Garage music would play over a running video in the game
  • Fixed a number of small UI issues
  • Fixed a number of small vehicle visual model issues
  • Fixed some issues that caused the game to crash
  • Added a number of Bastille Day event assets
Armored Warfare - Silentstalker
Commanders!

The latest Moscow Season update brought a number of interesting activities that you can participate in to obtain some rather unique visual rewards and now’s the right time to take a look at what you can actually do in Armored Warfare to obtain them.

Please note that, for this article, we’ll exclude the Battle Path content and will focus on items generally available to anyone.

Special Operations

Of the four Moscow Calling Special Operation missions that we promised, two missions are currently available with the other two coming this week and in the second half of July respectively. Aside from a number of interesting achievement rewards, these Special Operations give you the opportunity to obtain special Capital camouflage for all environments:

To obtain these camouflages, one has to complete the following achievements:
  • Woodland version: Vehicles in Moscow achievement, currently available for completing the two initially available Special Operations missions in every vehicle class in the game (including SPGs)
  • Winter version: Quick Robbery achievement (will only become available with the third Moscow Calling mission)
  • Desert version: Emergency Service achievement (will only become available with the fourth Moscow Calling mission)
Keep an eye out for the other two when the missions become available! There are, of course, other Moscow Calling achievements that you can complete for a number of other prizes – check out the Moscow Calling section of your Achievements tab in the Dossier window.

Contract Missions Campaign

The launch of the Moscow Calling season marked the activation of a new Contract campaign with different rules compared to the previous one. Instead of having to collect blueprint pieces for a reward tank from Loot Crates, you can now finish the initial contract to obtain the main prize directly – this time, it’s the ZUBR PSP Tier 7 Premium Tank Destroyer.

Once this Tank Destroyer appears in your Garage, you can do two things with it (apart from playing, of course):
  • Select one of the two available configurations (a gun turret or a missile one)
  • Unlock the special Enforcer skin for 2.500 Gold in the Customization window
The latter option is quite unique in the sense that it features a distinctive “police” look, inspired by the Russian Guard (Rosgvardia) units.

Once the ZUBR PSP contract is completed, another contract with the same conditions becomes available but, this time, with a different reward – the Moscow Supply Crate. This crate is a special seasonal reward that features several interesting items. For one, it always drops a Tier 6 to Tier 8 Premium vehicle as well as a visual customization options.

The permanent Premium vehicles that drop from this crate include (amongst many others), the Type 90 MBT, Challenger 1 Falcon, BMPT Prototype, Sabre and others vehicles that you had the opportunity to obtain in the past.

There are, however, some unique visual customization items in it as well. The most distinctive is the Beast series for the following vehicles:
  • Challenger 2 ATDU
  • Centauro 120
  • Merkava Mk.3D BAZ
  • VBL INGWE
  • AMX-13 DCA

Other visual customization options that drop from this crate include:
  • Moscow Calling camouflage called Ruins
  • Black Sea Incursion camouflage called Kazbek
  • Arabian Nights camouflage called Euphrates
  • Other standard skins

Please note that these items will appear in your inventory, Goods section (at the end).

And last but not least, there is a special achievement called Moscow Conquest for completing the Moscow Contract one, two, three or four times to obtain unique decals and, for the last stage, also a special player avatar.

Weekly Events

The Weekly Events are now available during weekends. Currently, these consist of:
  • Caribbean Crisis re-run (allowing you to complete Caribbean Crisis achievements)
  • Black Sea Incursion re-run (allowing you to complete Black Sea Incursion achievements)
  • War Games Labyrinth mode (allowing you to obtain special War Games Loot Crates)
War Games Loot Crates always drop the following items (all of them for each crate):
  • 500 Bonus Battle Coins for the Age of Rage Battle Path
  • 10 Experimental Field Rebuild Kits (normally obtainable only via Battalion activities)
  • Random diamond booster
  • Random 1-day temporary Premium vehicle
The Weekly Events can be accessed in the HQ, PvE mode (a smaller button above the Moscow Calling Special Operation one). Keep an eye on which event is active for the weekend in order not to miss the opportunity to get your hands on War Games Loot Crates and other goodies!

Coming Soon

This is, of course, not the full scale of available activities and items to unlock in the Moscow Calling season. The second half of the French vehicle branch is coming soon and, with it, interesting items such as:
  • New retrofits (both v2 and v3)
  • New Francine De Laroche camouflages
  • Commander Vincent Girard
  • Mastery system
  • Additional ZUBR PSP modules that improve its performance for the amount of Contract Missions completed
We’ll talk more about those upon their introduction to the game.

See you on the battlefield!
Armored Warfare - Silentstalker
Commanders!

While we are busy sorting out your submissions for the camouflage pattern submission event, we thought it would be a good idea to officially introduce the next batch of two historical military camouflages – this time, they both come from France.

In reality, it’s pretty much one iconic camouflage with two different layouts that is most famous for its appearance on the Leclerc MBT. It consists of green, brown and black stripes and is available in two variants – one has the edges clearly defined while the other variant has them blurred. Both were observed on the Leclerc MBT, sometimes even on vehicles from the same series.

Like before, these camouflages will be available for all vehicles and environments and will be introduced around the time of the launch of the second half of Francine De Laroche’s branch – which is arriving rather soon!

We hope you will enjoy them and are hard at work on the next set.

Stay tuned and see you on the battlefield!
