This week’s MyLoot vehicle is the French AMX 10 RCR Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer.
The AMX 10 RCR is the updated variant of the French AMX 10 RC fire support vehicle by GIAT, originally developed in the early 1980s. This light and nimble wheeled 6x6 AFV was armed with a 105mm gun, allowing it to knock out even armored targets at considerable distances. Over 200 of these aging vehicles were upgraded by Nexter in 2010 with improved armor and electronics, enabling them to fulfill modern battlefield tasks until their eventual replacement by the Jaguar. You can learn more about its history in our dedicated article!
In Armored Warfare, the AMX 10 RCR is a Tier 8 wheeled Premium Tank Destroyer. It’s incredibly agile with its wheeled chassis allowing it to outrun pretty much any enemy on the battlefield save for the fastest AFVs. Its gun accuracy is also top notch, making this vehicle perfect for sniper-style gameplay as its thin armor can’t protect it against enemy shells at close distances.
Apart from the permanent standalone offers (including for Gold) that are available with 15% discount for the duration of this offer, the following special bundles are also available between August 28 to August 30, 2018:
In Update 0.23, we’ve introduced the Special Medal mechanic, rewarding players for excellent performance in Random Battles with major Credit and Experience bonuses.
In the next major update, we will be introducing the same mechanic to the Global Operations mode. The following medals will be available:
Steel Sword - medal awarded to a tank operator who has destroyed from 15 to 19 enemy venhicles in one match. AI vehicles do not count
Bronze Sword - medal awarded to a tank operator who has destroyed at least 20 enemy vehicles in one match. AI vehicles do not count
Steel Wings - medal awarded to all tank operators in a team if they have won without losing any more than 100 points. Can only be earned if the enemy team had at least 10 players
Big Star - medal awarded to a tank operator who has destroyed an enemy vehicle with the help of a wildcard and earned victory for their team. AI vehicles do not count
Infiltrator - medal awarded to a tank operato who has taken at least 50% of points from the enemy by capturing a base. The capture must be victorious

We are introducing a new PvP map that is based on the design of the Austrian city of Salzburg, famous for its castle and the medieval salt trade that took place on the river the castle overlooks. The map offers a number of tactical choices and consists of both rolling hill countryside and of the city’s narrow streets. In connection with the Ukrainian Independence Day, we are happy to introduce two Ukrainian vehicles to myLoot:
MT-LB S8 Tier 6 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle
T-64AV Hunter Tier 5 Premium Main Battle Tank
Celebrating Ukrainian Independence
To celebrate the Ukrainian Independence Day, the following missions will be active between August 24 and September 3, 2018:
Deal 25.000 points of damage to receive 3 Gold Intel Boost 12-hour tokens
Win 1 battle in any mode to receive the Flag of Ukraine decal
Earn 50.000 points of Experience in any mode to receive 5 Spare Parts consumables
Apart from the standalone offers that are available with 15% discount for the duration of this offer, the following special bundles are also available between August 24 to September 3, 2018:
MT-LB S8
The MT-LB S8 (also called Strela-10 RSZO) was unveiled only recently as the means for Ukraine to combine two items they did not need by themselves in order to use them effectively during the Civil War. The first one, not quite useful to the Ukrainians by itself, is the Strela-10 self-propelled SAM – its deployment is quite limited due to the fact that the separatist forces do not have any air force. The second item is an aircraft or helicopter rocket pod that is used to fire 80mm S-8 unguided rockets. Together, they form an ad-hoc rocket launcher. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the MT-LB S8 is a unique Tier 6 Armored Fighting Vehicle. What makes it stand out? Its armament, of course. This AFV does not have a lot of armor, nor is it incredibly fast, but it can fire its two full rocket pods (each has 20 rockets) within 30 seconds or less. The rockets have HEAT-MP projectiles and are absolutely deadly against practically any target, but especially against those without composite armor. On the downside, the rockets are unguided and quite inaccurate. This vehicle is not for the faint of heart!
Aside from the standalone offer, it is available in the following bundles:
The T-64AV is a special variant of a T-64A that was retrofitted with the Soviet Kontakt-1ERA kit. A certain amount of the older T-64As was thus modified in the 1980s, producing a cost-effective improvement to the tank’s combat value.
In Armored Warfare, the T-64AV is another typical Russian style Main Battle Tank, featuring such elements as rather effective ERA, a low silhouette and a 125mm gun. It’s powerful at close ranges and thus suitable for aggressive play style. The T-64AV Hunter is available with unique yellow camouflage. Aside from the standalone offer, it is available in the following bundles:
This week, we have some very special offers for you to celebrate My.com’s presence at the gamescom 2018 games expo. We’ve been waiting to introduce you to these beauties for quite some time and now’s the right time to do so.
The crown jewel of the offer is the Type 96B Red Dragon Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank with its unique and gorgeous dragon-themed paintjob that is now available on MyLoot as fell as for Gold in our Web Shop.
The Type 96B MBT, as its name suggests, is an evolution of the Type 96A, featuring such elements as an upgraded fire control system and a much more powerful engine, resulting in considerably better mobility and speed. Unlike the Type 96A, however, the Type 96B is a prototype, designed for the Chinese military team to use during the annual Tank Biathlon event in Russia. In 2017, the Chinese team won the second place, being defeated only by Russia. You can learn more about its history in our dedicated article!
In Armored Warfare, the Type 96B is a Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank. Gameplay-wise, it’s very agile and fast for its class and uses advanced ammunition, making it highly suitable for players who prefer mobility over armor protection, even though it can take a lot of punishment as well.
Joining him on MyLoot are:
Challenger 1 Fionn Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank
WZ-1224 Trash Panda Tier 6 Premium Main Battle Tank
Apart from the standalone offers, all three vehicles are available in larger bundles with major discounts between August 21 and August 28, 2018.
Check out the MyLoot pages to find out more!
But that’s not all.
We know you’ve been itching to spend your myCoins on something really cool, which is why we’ve prepared for you two brand new myLoot chests that are also available for limited time only (until September 3, 2018).
Each of these chests contains, amongst other things, a previously unavailable Premium Light Tanks:
Begleitpanzer 57 Toy Tier 5 Premium Light Tank
VT-5 Dragon Tier 9 Premium Light Tank
The Begleitpanzer 57 Toy is based on one of the lesser known German attempts from the late 1970s to create an infantry fire support vehicle on the German Marder IFV chassis. It was a purely commercial project, intended for export. Unfortunately, while it had potential, it did not manage to attract any customers. A single prototype was built in 1977 and you can read more about it in a dedicated article.
Its rather unique combination of a 57mm automatic cannon and a TOW missile launcher allows it to take out any target it encounters at any distance, although medium ranges is where it performs the best. This version sports a rather colorful paintjob as well as a set of balloons that the enemies will do their utmost to pop. It’s just the perfect thing to awake your inner child – just go out there and play!
The VT-5 Dragon is a special version of the VT-5 but, unlike its Legendary Reinforcements counterpart, it features a beautiful red and gold paint scheme rivaling that of the Red Dragon. The vehicle itself is a modern Chinese Light Tank that was developed specifically with export in mind. There are many reasons why a country without its own tank development should opt to purchase a Light Tank instead of a full-scale Main Battle Tank. It’s equally as fast if not faster with equal firepower but, what is most important, it is affordable. The VT-5 excels in all these categories. While its armor cannot match that of an MBT, it can protect its crew against most infantry threats thanks to its ERA and cage armor sets. It also has a powerful 105mm gun capable of firing guided missiles, it is packed with advanced electronics and is supremely agile thanks to its 1000hp diesel engine. Simply put, wraps cutting edge technologies up into an affordable bundle. You can learn more about it in a dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the VT-5 is a very powerful Tier 9 Premium Light Tank. Fast and agile, it features solid levels of protection (the configuration in the game is the one featuring the ERA kit as well as the turret cage armor) and a good rate of fire. Additionally, its gun is capable of firing guided missiles. It’s an ideal machine for players who value speed and agility, as it offers plenty of both. The VT-5 is capable of dancing around its opponents on the battlefield, outperforming even some AFVs in mobility.
Both these vehicles are available via MyLoot Chests that, in turn, are available for myCoins you receive as a free bonus for every myLoot purchase. You can read more myCoins in our dedicated article.
Please note:

The Heart of Gaming Chests are available until September 3, 16:00 CEST (7 AM PDT)

We hope that you will enjoy this event and will see you on the battlefield!
By the end of the 1970s, almost fifteen years after its introduction to service, the Soviets felt that the BMP-1 was already somewhat obsolete. Not only it had its original flaws, but one of its main declared features, the ability to kill enemy tanks, was dangerously threatened by the appearance of a new generation of NATO MBTs (such as the Leopard 2 and Abrams) with considerably improved protection.
By that time, the BMP-1’s successor, the BMP-2, was almost ready but the question was, what to do with the thousands of BMP-1s produced until that point. Replacing them all with BMP-2s was prohibitively expensive and the struggling Soviet Union of the 1980s couldn’t really afford it. Besides, it’s not like the BMP-1 was completely obsolete, they thought – sure, it could use an upgrade, but otherwise it was fine.
The result of this line of thought was an improved variant called BMP-1P (or Object 765 Sp.4) which was produced between 1979 and 1983 (when the general BMP-1 production in the Soviet Union ended).
The main focus of this upgrade was to improve the anti-tank capability by replacing the 9K11 Malyutka launcher system with a 9K111 Fagot one. Unlike the Malyutka, the Fagot missiles were considerably more powerful and more than a match for the MBTs the Soviets would encounter on the battlefield. A 120mm 9M111 Fagot missile had a range of 2km, flight velocity of 240 m/s and could penetrate up to 600mm of armor (depending on sources and variants – estimates vary between 450mm and 600mm). The missiles could also be upgraded to 135mm Konkurs ones that could penetrate more than 600mm of armor and had a range of 3km. The amount of carried missiles per vehicle didn’t change – the BMP-1P carried 4 missiles.
In order to increase the protection capabilities of the vehicle, a 902B Tucha smoke grenade launcher with 6 barrels was added at the back of the turret. Additionally, flame-retardant liner was added to the turret hull and turret of the vehicle, protecting the most exposed areas against napalm and other incendiary mixtures.
Otherwise, not much changed. The armor was not upgraded (that only happened later on the “Afghanistan” BMP-1D model). The vehicle was somewhat heavier (13.4 tons) but was still powered by the 300hp UTD-20 V6 diesel paired with a planetary manual transmission. Its maximum speed didn’t drop and was still around 65 km/h. A BMP-1PK commander variant existed as well with additional communications equipment.
It’s worth noting that there was one interesting variant of the BMP-1P developed – the BMP-1PG. In addition to all the changes of the BMP-1P, it had one extra weapon system – an AG-17 Plamya (Flame) 30mm automatic grenade launcher. The grenade launcher was fixed on the turret and the operator (commander and gunner) was aiming it by simply rotating the whole turret (vertical aiming was remote-controlled and independent on main gun elevation). The maximum direct fire range was 250m, but the indirect fire range was up to 1700m. The grenade launcher fired high explosive shells with a blast radius of 7 meters. With a rate of fire of up to 400 rounds per minute, it was a brutally effective weapon against enemy infantry. On the downside, the vehicle only carried 28 rounds for the weapon, severely limiting its use. Plus, it was yet another weapon system for the gunner to operate, reducing its overall effectiveness. An unknown (small) number was built by the end of the BMP-1P production run and was used exclusively by the Soviets (as was the BMP-1P).
In Armored Warfare, the BMP-1P is a Tier 4 Armored Fighting Vehicle, available in the AFV branch of Sophie Wölfli’s vehicle pool. Gameplay-wise, it’s practically identical to the Tier 3 BMP-1 with the main difference being the ability to knock out Tier-appropriate MBTs with its modernized guided missile system. The key to success is to stay hidden and not attract undue attention, especially in PvE. Enemy fire can make short work of any BMP due to the general lack of armor even though its sloped front can sometimes resist light autocannon shots.
Like the BMP-1, the BMP-1P has very poor gun depression – choose your positions carefully in order not to get into situations where you can’t return fire because the enemy is below you. Stay behind bushes and use your supreme mobility and massive damage per shot to ambush the enemy.

We are happy to introduce another new vehicle to the Armored Warfare Premium fleet – the Sabre Tier 6 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle!
The Sabre is an interesting British recon vehicle, assembled together from older Scorpion hulls and Fox turrets after both parts were brought to zero hour state (completely overhauled) by a company called Alvis. The resulting vehicle from the early 1990s was called Sabre and, considering it was made of decades old components, it worked fairly well as a scouting vehicle, participating in the Iraq War as well as in several peacekeeping missions. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Tier 6 Sabre Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle is one of the deadliest vehicles on the battlefield thanks to its rather unique upward-aimed Swingfire missile launcher that allows it to fire over obstacles or while hidden, for example behind uneven terrain. While being quite difficult to master, this ability makes it a potent ambusher, especially in skilled hands.
Between August 16 and August 21, 2018, the Sabre will be available as a standalone vehicle with 10 percent discount:
On August 15, 2018, the entire Poland celebrates the Armed Forces Day, commemorating the 98th anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw, where the Polish military defeated the Red Army invading forces. During the Polish-Soviet War, the communists ultimately wanted to capture the entirety of Poland but were instead soundly defeated by the forces of Marshal Józef Piłsudski in what is commonly referred to as the Miracle of the Vistula. The celebration of this great victory and the Polish Armed Forces was renewed in 1992 and is accompanied by military parades since 2007.
To celebrate this anniversary, we’ve prepared for you a set of missions and bonuses!
Between August 14 and August 16, 2018, the following bonus and missions will be active:
300% Experience income bonus (x4) for the first victory of the day for the PvE Missions mode
Win 1 battle in any mode to receive 3 Energy Drink consumables
Win 1 battle in any mode to receive a free Polish Flag decal
Win 2 battles in any mode to receive 15 Gold Commander Experience Insignia tokens
Win 2 battles in any mode to receive the Polish Armed Forces decal
