We asked for your best outfits to show off on the runway, and we’ve been DAZZLED. To say you all have delivered for this contest is an understatement. Every single one of you went all out to show what you got and blew us away with the creativity and thought put into outfits. After a long, long, LONG deliberation from our judges, we finally have the winners here for you today.
Please know that even if you do not show up here, we acknowledge the time, effort, and passion you put into your entry. It was clear to see! Please feel free to share your outfit here so others can see it as well. Also note that pose, picture composition, background, and such were not taken into consideration; only the outfit/character itself was judged.
If you see yourself featured, feel free to reply here!
Now…let’s get into it!

It was a close call with all of these entries, and it was near impossible without the help of our volunteer group of Exiles.
We will be contacting the winners of these shortly to get details of your prizes. Additionally, we’ll be in touch with many of you in the coming days who we couldn’t show off here, but would absolutely love to on the Conan Exiles social media accounts.
Thank you again to EVERYONE who participated and we hope you will again for the next contest. Cheers!
Screenshots taken by the incredible Liderpina! Whether it’s for practicality, role playing, or simply wanting to look badass, what you wear makes the barbarian. Styling your character and making it unique is a large part of Conan Exiles, and throughout the 4 years, we’ve seen some absolutely incredible looks. For this year’s anniversary, we want to celebrate that!
We want you to ransack your closet and dress your best in this contest! There are two main categories: modded and unmodded. You can choose which of these you’d like to enter. Your entry will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, overall cohesion, and theme. The judges will consist of the Funcom community team as well as Exile volunteers from the community.
Judgment will be on the outfit and character (clothes/hair/tattoos) alone. Pose, photo composition, or background of the entry will not be counted as we want the main focus to be on the outfit. But please make sure the whole outfit can be seen clearly for the judges!
The outfit you are submitting does not need to specifically be YOUR character, but it needs to be the outfit you have selected and put together. This is helpful if you need a model to take better pictures, for example.
All entries must be submitted by May 20, 2022 11:59 PM. We will not accept any entries after this date. Winners will be announced on May 30, 2022 1:00 PM. Entries must be submitted through this email address: contest@funcom.com. More info on how to submit below.
There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for both unmodded and unmodded categories. We also have DLC keys as prizes for honorable mentions.
Please note, as these are physical prizes Funcom will require an address for shipping purposes. Due to unfortunate circumstances out of our control, we will be unable to ship to Russia. Thank you for your understanding!

We’re nearing the 4th Anniversary mark since the full launch of Conan Exiles, and to celebrate the date we’ll be running a double XP and harvesting event on official servers!
From May 5th to May 18th 2022, all official servers on all platforms and regions, will have 2x XP and Harvesting rates!
Thank you for being part of Conan Exiles and for joining us in the celebrations! We can’t wait to show you what’s coming next for Conan Exiles!
We’re thrilled to announce that Conan Chop Chop has arrived, bringing you the most unhinged vision of Hyboria yet!
With the wacky turned to 11, Conan Chop Chop invites you and your friends to join forces in both local and online multiplayer for this 1-4 player party roguelite game.
Charge into a crazy adventure as Conan, Valeria, Belit, or Pallantides, each with their unique upgradable skill trees, and stop the evil wizard Thoth-Amon. He may have an army of weird monsters and a great maniacal villain laugh, but you have your muscle-bound stick limbs, a good ol’ chopper, and a whole lot of rage, so get hackin’.
Let loose your most dramatic war cry as you mash that chop button, through endlessly varied magically generated maps bursting with loot. You will die and rise again, a little richer, a little wiser, a little more fueled by vengeance.
Who knew toughing it out in the harsh and unforgiving world that is the Exiled Lands did nothing to harden your sweet loving hearts, aww. We received beautifully written entries, some dripping with cheese and some that gave us a hearty chuckle.
Check out the winning entries here and comment if you’re one of them! And if not, feel free to share it here too!
Winners will be contacted by email later today.
Physical Category Winners
1st Place
A lovely letter from the Exile Lupus, the Cimmerian mercenary, to Zafira, the Stygian leader of clan Iseth. Our judges loved not only the ambiance and authentic feel of this entry, but the fantastic letter written with in-game lore on a singed note.
2nd Place
A “card” from Insein to Shupa. We loved that this acted just like a mini sign post you can create in the game. And it looks great in a potter! You can see more images of the sign + adorable dog HERE.
3rd Place
A carving from TreeYou to all you Exiles out there. This wooden card was carved using only a knife, no gas or electricity used! Amazing!
Digital Category Winners
1st Place
A lovely card from “The King of the Imps” to the Priestess of Derketo, Yakira. Created by oldcraig. The judges absolutely loved that the card looks handmade complete with pictures held with tape. The letter is both sad yet endearing.
2nd Place
A simple yet elegant card from Tyros the Deathbringer to Telith, daughter of the Witch Queen. At first glance it may appear to be a charming and sweet letter, but you’ll find a deeper meaning in each sentence on a second glance.
3rd Place
A wonderful interactive card was made by “a talented Dogs of the Desert artisan using the sweetest and tastiest blueberries.” to the Beloved Lianeele. Finding all (14) differences in the images will increase the happiness of your loved ones until the next purge!
Honorable Mentions
In no particular order, these are cards that didn’t receive as many votes from the judges but still brought smiles and aww’s.
To Sigara from MilkMalk. A gorgeous drawing created in Procreate of the two fighting off beasts of the 8-legged variety.
From Abe to Abe, sporting some of that self love.
A card from toniapiromali, who kneels before King Conan but fell in love with the guardian beside him, mixalisj5. Instead of using words, their feelings were conveyed through a handwritten drawing.
This letter from Exile Prometeo to a furry Yeti touched our hearts.
This simple yet adorable card from JackalTaco to Arby won the hearts of judges as it brought them back to early school days of giving out cards to classmates.
Thank you again to everyone who participated and helped spread the love. These contests are a lot of fun for us, and hope it is for you all too. Keep an eye out in the future for more opportunities to win keys and other neat prizes we’ll have!
If there’s a contest you’d like to see happen, please don’t hesitate to let us know in the comments. Until next time, Exiles!
The world of Conan is getting a little bigger and… flatter. Almost 3 years ago we teased – by way of an April Fools’ joke – a new adventure for Conan. We want to celebrate everything we love about Conan in a more comedic and light-hearted tone. It’s been a journey, but Conan Chop Chop is almost here. Conan Chop Chop is a party rogue-lite for 1-4 players full of mayhem, loot, and adventure. In this outrageous take on Conan the Barbarian, you are the muscle-bound hero foolish enough to try and stop the evil wizard Thoth-Amon!
As part of the launch we’ve decided to release a free Demo as part of the Steam Next Fest.
The demo will take you through the first zone in the game, giving you a chance to sample the combat, a small part of the world and some of the basics of each character and their skill trees. We've included a few items and equipment as well, so you can get a feel for how they impact gameplay. Lastly, online co-op has been disabled for the demo but you can always use remote play together. We hope you enjoy this very different take on Hyboria!
Conan Exiles had a year of solid growth in 2021, and with what’s on the horizon we’re very excited about 2022 too! However, before we get to all that exciting new stuff, we have some house cleaning to do.
TLDR: we need to reduce the number of official PC and PlayStation servers.
Server merges list
Scheduled server closures/merges are listed on this page . Servers listed here will have an in-game notification about the closure/merge. We will update here as we complete the list for each region so please keep an eye on it.
Why?
The goal with the official servers is to provide easy access to exciting gameplay in Conan Exiles through meeting and interacting with other players, whether there is PvP or more friendly encounters. On these servers, travelling across the Exiled Lands or the Isle of Siptah should include encounters with other players and their creations, whether a massive fortress or our beloved default 2x2 hut near the river.
Both with early access in 2017 and when Conan Exiles launched back in 2018 official servers filled to the brim. Then players found their preferred play hours, and server population stabilized at a healthy level. The same happened with Isle of Siptah servers when the expansion launched last year.
But official servers have their limitations. We have more than a thousand of them across the different platforms, regions, modes, and now maps. To keep this manageable we run all of them with default settings. Many players seek a different experience with regards to gathering and XP rates, purges, player limits, et al., and of course – on PC – one or more of the amazing mods the community has created.
Over the years, and even over the few months since Isle of Siptah launched, we have seen a continuous shift toward player-run servers and solo/co-op play. While activity in the game is higher than ever (outside of those crazy release months), several official servers see few players online during any given week.Less than a handful players on a server doesn’t provide the experience they were created for, especially when a server is essentially someone’s solo game. Hence why we will consolidate onto fewer servers.
How does it work?
Perhaps most importantly, we will not just shut off the power to servers and leave it at that. When a server is shut down, we will transfer all characters – active or not – to another server along with everything in their inventory. This transfer is not subject to the “no encumbrance” rule which applies to free transfers. However, transferred characters log in at the starting area so bring something to help you carry!
No constructions will be transferred. We realize this is not optimal. The main concern is that there can be a building in the same spot on the destination server already – especially on the popular PvP server base spots. Another is that this would complicate the database merge operation significantly.
Players on a server which is closing will be notified ahead of time through Message of the Day, and we will also provide a list of servers and dates here as they are decided on.
How many servers?
Having looked at the current player activity trends and making projections for that exciting new stuff to come later this year, we aim to close about one third of official servers.
This is not distributed evenly across platform, region, mode, and map, however. Thanks to the success of Conan Exiles on Game Pass, Xbox servers are well populated, and we will only close a few Xbox servers that were opened in the wrong region last summer. Thus, this almost exclusively affects PC and PlayStation servers.
Exact numbers for each of the combinations of platform, region, mode, and map varies greatly, and will be available once we share the servers and dates.
How are the servers decided?
Characters from a closed server will be merged to another server in the same location. For example, someone connecting to a server on the US east coast will not have to suddenly connect to one on the west coast.
Goal is to impact as few players as possible, so low population throughout January 2022 is the primary factor. Both average and peak population is considered, with most weight on the former.
Among low populated servers, we put some weight on the number of structures on the server.
Destination servers for the character merge are chosen based on population, with the aim of increasing average population across the board and not creating login queues.
What about the future?
The shift toward private servers and games and a more customized game experiences is expected to continue. But we also expect Conan Exiles to continue to grow. How exactly that will pan out over the next year and beyond is hard to predict.
It’s possible we will do more closures in the future. It’s also entirely possible we will need to open new servers! This we will have to come back to sometime after that exciting stuff we can’t say more about just yet.
Nothing goes more hand in hand than love and blood in the Exiled Lands. Want to impress your crush in the hut next door? Gift them the fresh heart of beast. Date night? Start a brawl with the local Black Hand pirates. After all, a couple that slays together stays together.
In this contest, we want to see your confession of love whether it’s as fresh as new kindling or a smoldering pit of Yog. Create a card to whomever (or whatever) your heart desires and send it to us to review it. It’s okay, they don’t have to know. ;)
We want you to create a card confessing your love to someone in the Exiled Lands/Isle of Siptah. This someone can be anyone you want: an NPC, another Exile, a character from roleplaying, the God/Goddess you worship, whatever you'd like. As long as the character exists in the Conan Exiles world and not, like, the steamy muscular people in The Avengers or Star Wars or whatever. You get the idea.
The card you make can be digital or physical and will be judged on creativity of the card and text in it.
For a digital card, you can use whatever software you'd like (Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Paint, etc).
For a physical card, you can use whatever material you like and send us pictures or a video of the card.
All entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm EST on February 21st 2022. We will not accept any entries after this date. Winners will be announced on February 25th 2022 at 1pm EDT/8pm CEST. Entries must be submitted through this email address: contest@funcom.com
Cards will be judged separately based on digital or physical. You can only enter one card, so be sure to specify in your email which media (physical or digital) you are entering. You can select any DLCs as a prize currently available for purchase by Funcom (excluding bundles). The keys are given out in even numbers, so you can share the love if you win! Or keep them all to yourself, nothing wrong with some selflove <3

2021 has been an incredibly exciting and challenging year for us here on the Conan Exiles team. We started off the year preparing for the final release of our first expansion map, Isle of Siptah. The team was able to improve the Siptah map with your feedback during Early Access by adding NPC camps, Points of Interest, and activities. The team also added two amazing biomes in preparation for the final release on all platforms. We really enjoyed working on Siptah, despite the challenges that working from home during the pandemic presented.
Ultimately, we feel the final result is something we can be proud of, and your feedback and support made this journey feel all the more rewarding. The official launch on all platforms was met with an overwhelming amount of support from you all, as we achieved the highest concurrent player count since the game’s release. The launch campaigns we ran along with Siptah, such as the Twitch Drops and the Community Challenge, were also incredibly well received, paving the way for other possible future promotions.
In 2021 we also hit two important milestones as we released on two additional storefronts. First, on the Microsoft Store as part of the PC and Xbox Gamepass subscription. Getting to this point took a colossal amount of work from our teams, to who I want to wholeheartedly thank for their efforts, as well as to the Microsoft and Xbox teams who made this possible. We also drastically improved performance of the Xbox One client and received the Optimized for Series X|S badge resulting in Conan Exiles looking better than ever on consoles! Later in the year we released on the Epic Game Store and were able to bring Conan Exiles to another audience with full cross platform support for all PC stores. Once again, this was made possible thanks to the support of our friends at Epic Games.
With an eye on the future, we’ve also spent a good portion of the year planning and figuring out the best way to support our game for the long run. We are committed to Conan Exiles, it’s one of the greatest successes we have had at Funcom and we want it to become the best it can be. For that purpose, we have been growing our staff over the year and created a new Live team that is dedicated to the maintenance, support, and daily operations of the game. Thanks to this, we’ve been able to focus on addressing your feedback regarding critical bugs and Quality of Life additions that had been not possible in the past. We have also dedicated a team to provide support to our amazing modders, creating direct lines of communication with them so we can keep improving the devkit to better suit our community of creators. And this is just the beginning. We are committed to keep growing and adapting to support Conan Exiles on what will be one of its most exciting years.
I can’t wait to spill the beans on what is coming in the future, but for now let’s celebrate this past year with some facts and statistics about last year for Conan Exiles: We can confidently say that 2020 and 2021 were the most successful years for Exiles based on player counts and player activity. The development and launch of Isle of Siptah revitalized interest for veterans, and also gathered the attention of new players. And it didn’t stop there! The last quarter of 2021 also showed a surge in activity thanks in great part to the release of our in-game event “Grave Matters”. We’ve been keeping close attention to its reception and what you had to say about it. Thanks in great part to all your positive feedback, we’re planning for more events in the future so keep an eye out!
Another front we have seen positive growth with the game has been with streaming. Thanks to the new content added to the game and our campaigns, especially the Twitch Drops campaign, we’ve seen the viewership numbers hit an all-time high, even surpassing early access and the official launch period! We’re happy to say that we’ve improved our active player base and presence on streaming platforms and 2021 has been our strongest year to date. It’s been a year of experimentation on our end and we’re incredibly thankful to all of you for rewarding us back with your support which we are using to shape our plans to make 2022 even better!
