Welcome to the winners list! I'll begin by saying this was by far the most difficult contest to judge. You all clearly put so much love, energy, time, and passion into your temples. Our judges over all Funcom offices debated all week, but we've finally declared the winners. Even if your temple isn't listed here, we are giving you a huge round of applause and thank you for participating in this. We'll be posting some of your temples on our social media accounts so keep an eye out there!
If you don't see your entry here, PLEASE share it with us! Reply to this thread with your gorgeous buildings or link to a thread if you've already posted it. Some winners that were chosen don't have a name, so if you see yours here please let us know so we can properly credit you.
Additionally, we received 5x the amount of PC entries than we did for PlayStation and Xbox. Due to this, we'll be picking five PC runner ups instead of just three.
Another huge shoutout and thanks to Razer for providing prizes to our first place winners! We will be in contact with the winners for your information to get you your spoils.
For those curious, here's a little pie chart with percentages of what God/Goddesses everyone chose!

Temple of Ymir by Deaso
A small excerpt from the beautiful write up: "Visitors and pilgrims to the temple arrive in winter to find wisdom in the visions of the Seers and to offer up value or bounty to Ymir in exchange for blessings and strength throughout the coming year. The lowliest bring meager offerings of vegetable harvests and game bounty, while the most heroic of warriors bring their prized captured spoils-of-war, such as axes, helmets of fallen heroes and plundered treasures. Before beginning the long journey back down the mountain visitors are able to regain their strength at the inviting hearth, or by staying the night in the temple's communal sleeping area."
"These ancient stones have witnessed the rise of the Witch Queen and the decline of the elders and the perversion of Derketos faith. She is the knife edge between pleasure and pain, the mistress of seduction and addition, death and rebirth not the wh ore of snakes, so bow and give thanks bone, light and jade and yield your body and soul to her and revel in her joy.... But show disrespect and Derketos Fall awaits you or the bite of the lash as we break, as for the followers of the Serpent come if you dare we will ply you with honeyed wine pay no heed to the lotus we grow and scream in rhapsody as lust takes you cut by cut may Set choke on your bloated souls."
We were incredibly impressed with their technique in creating this building. It's a gorgeous temple that only the most dedicated of Mitra worshipers can visit! Be sure to see the rest of the pictures here: https://imgur.com/a/lcz5O6j
Runner Ups
Here are our runner ups! Listed in no particular order.
Temple of Derketo built on the Cursed Sands Server. Gallery here (though missing some photos including NSFW so Imgur doesn't get mad at me): https://imgur.com/a/e7cbi0V
Temple to Crom "Since Crom has no shrine I went with the empty throne just steel skull in the seat. I decided to go with forges and blacksmith tables. And anything I could think of to bring in the CROM look. The roof has opening up top like a star."
Thank you again to EVERYONE who participated. Even this person!
Not even mad. We really hope you enjoyed this contest and are always open to feedback on things you liked, didn’t like, or feel we can improve on. Build on, Exiles!
We’re celebrating the arrival of many new faces to the Exiles Lands and the Isle of Siptah with an exciting building contest. Whether you’re new or a veteran, we want to see the architect side of you come out to play. We’re working together with Razer for some fantastic prizes, so this is one you won’t want to miss.
The challenge this time around is to make a temple with an in-game religion of your choice. Having a God/Goddess to worship (or curse) in the harsh world can bring peace and some pretty nice benefits. What better way to show your devotion than to create a magnificent temple?
You can choose one of the following religions:
Mitra
Derketo
Jhebbal Sag
Set
Crom (oh the irony)
Yog
Ymir
Zath
This temple can be as big or small as you want, so long as you make it devoted to the one religion of your choice. As opposed to the previous contests, all platforms (Xbox/PS4/PC) will be judged separately. Judgement will be done by members of Funcom and based on creativity and how well it conveys your chosen religion.
Additionally, due to platforms being judged separately, we are allowing mods for PC entries. The mods available in the Steam workshop and the minds behind them are nothing short of incredible so be sure to peruse them.
All entries must be submitted by 11:59 EDT on August 4, 2021 . We will not accept any entries after this date. Winners will be announced on August 13, 2021 at 1pm EDT/8pm CEST. Entries must be submitted through this email address: contest@funcom.com. More info on how to submit below.
Razer is kindly supplying some very exciting prizes for this contest. We will select a first place winner for each platform, as well as three runner ups for each platform.
Please note for first place winners, Funcom will require your address for shipping purposes.
Three runner ups from each platform will also be chosen. These 9 winners will receive a DLC key of any currently available DLC (excluding Isle of Siptah) of their choosing. (Valued at $9.99)
Your entry must include the temple of any one of the in-game religions.
When you submit your temple entry, you affirm that it is your own work. You may have help building it, but it can only be submitted once. Please do not submit an entry that you did not build.
You may use the admin tool if you’re creating your submission on singleplayer/co-op or a private server.
If on PC, you can use Ansel.
You may use DLC.
One entry per email per person.
Please refrain from sending pictures taken from mobile phone.
Low effort entries will not be counted.
You can send in as many screenshots or videos as you wish. You can use Imgur or another (safe) site to upload images or videos if that’s easier. Just be sure we can access it!
Please send us your entry of the temple to this email address: contest@funcom.com to enter. If you do not email us here, it will not be counted.
Make sure your subject line is “Conan Exiles Building Contest”.
We will accept entries until 11:59 EDT August 4, 2021 . Entries submitted after this date will not be counted.
In the body of your email, please include the following: - Which platform you’ve built the temple on (PS4/Xbox/PC). - Server it was built on (singleplayer/co-op/private/official). Feel free to mention the server name as well. - Which mods used, if any. - The religion you chose.

We’ve just released a small patch that should temporarily address the building pieces stability issues introduced after the 2.4.6 update.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to work on this issue.
Added a temporary fix for the Stability issues introduced into the game after the 2.4.6 update. We’ve disabled the following setting ‘dw.DisableBuildingValidation’. This has been set to 1 by default for now, as private server admins can change the setting to 0 to make enable this setting again.
Greetings Exiles! Our good friends at Modiphius have made the Robert E. Howard’s Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of pen-and-paper RPG and now a Conan Exiles sourcebook is available!
This sourcebook allows you to experience some of the unique features from Conan Exiles in a tabletop RPG. It offers tons of new content, such as all-new archetypes, backgrounds, survival mechanics, crafting and building.
The Conan Exiles sourcebook was first announced as a stretch goal in the very successful Kickstarter for the pen-and-paper RPG. A sourcebook for Age of Conan: Unchained is in the works and is expected to be available next year.
So now you can fight to survive, build and dominate in the Exiled lands not only in Conan Exiles, but also in a great tabletop RPG!
We’re incredibly excited to finally release patch 2.4.6. It focuses on addressing many reported issues, both recent and classics, as well as adding some really cool stuff! We’re releasing a huge QoL addition for modders that has been requested almost since day one, as well as optimizations that will help all platforms.
To top it all, we are releasing with this patch a huge new feature we can’t wait to let you try: single-player/coop map transfer feature (called in-game “Character Copy”). This is a standalone and independent version of the (still Work in Progress) server transfer feature. It comes already integrated into the game and does not rely on the online server transfer infrastructure. You can read more about this feature and how it works in this separate forum post.
Last but not least, this patch comes with all the rewards unlocked during the Free Week community event. You absolutely slayed it and unlocked a full new armor set and a mount saddle. Good job! You can read more about these rewards in our blog post.
Thank you again for your continued feedback and support! Stay safe! IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING MODS
Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.
Currently Known Issues
Character copy may fail to transfer all attribute points correctly when transferring back and forth in quick succession. We’re working on ironing out this situation in 2.5.
When using the Russian localization, the confirmation prompt when using character copy is misleading. The correct confirmation prompt to use is “КОПИРОВАНИЕ”.

Fixed an issue where a Giant King figurine would give the wrong figure.

We are going to activate the Follower Limit on all official servers, all platforms, on June 29. First introduced in the Mounts update, this feature caps the maximum amount of allowed thralls and pets a player or clan can have active at any given time. Specifically - placeable combat thralls and pets. You can still have as many crafter thralls as you please.
Why are we doing this?
We are doing this for multiple reasons, first and foremost of which are reducing lag and increase server frame-rate, especially for consoles, on official servers
In addition to this, a limit like this will make building enormous land-claimed areas more difficult to defend, which is one of many steps we intend to take towards solving problems with sieges and PvP going forward. We want players to feel like they are in control over a war-band, not an army.
When is the limit going to be activated in official servers?
On Tuesday, June 29th 2021.
How does it work?
A player/clan will have a maximum amount of Followers available to them. This maximum amount grows depending on the amount of members in the clan. A solo player will have as a maximum of available Followers the “base limit”. If they create a clan, and a new member joins the clan, this maximum goes up by a certain amount per new member. Players will not be able to place any more thralls beyond this limit. This is what we call the “soft cap”.
On top of the soft cap, there is a cap of 100 extra followers. This is what we call the “hard cap”. Any followers above this will be considered for the elimination until the hard cap is met.
These are the values we are going to use on all official servers.
Base limit: 50 followers.
Amount added per member in a clan: 15 followers.
Note: A solo player is treated as a 1 person clan.
Example 1 : A clan of 5 members in an official server will have a soft cap of 125 followers: 50 from the leader’s base limit, plus 15 per player on the clan. Beyond this limit, they will not be able to place any new followers. In the eventuality that they happen to have more than 125 followers in game, the system will only start to eliminate them beyond 225 (hard cap).
Example 2: A full clan of 10 members will have a soft cap of 200 followers, and a hard cap of 300.
What happens to Followers already placed when the limit is implemented?
If a player or clan are above the allocated hard cap, the system will run a check and periodically select from their followers the ones considered the weakest, and delete them one by one until the hard cap is met. To determine a follower’s strength, we use the formula Level by their Tier. For instance, a level 6 Tier 4 thrall will have a score of 24, while a level 20 Tier 1 thrall will have a score of 20. If two followers are tied in their score, one will be selected at random.
We strongly recommend organizing any thralls you definitely want to keep before the limit is in place. Remember, you can now check in the Follower Management screen if you’re above the limit, and where each one of your applicable followers are located, and break bonds or rescue them from that screen as well.
I own or play in a private server. Does this affect me?
No. This limit is going to be activated on official servers. However, this is one of the many server settings also available for private servers and can be fully customizable or completely disabled if so desired.
