Separate TestLive Product on Steam We heard your input regarding the inconvenience with having to switch back and forth between the main game and our TestLive servers. To make it easier for you and because we really value your testing and feedback, we added a separate product for the TestLive server on Steam.
If you own Conan Exiles on Steam, you should now see a separate Product called “Conan Exiles - Testlive Client” in your library which gives you the option to install an additional instance of the game specifically for the TestLive servers. Please be aware that this will prompt you for a full additional installation.
We are aware that not everyone wants install or has space for two full installations. For those of you who don’t want to play through the additional TestLive Client, you can still access the TestLive servers through our old method.
As with our previous building contests, each one of you went above and beyond our expectations. The absolute creativity and skill you showed in making your vision of the Tower of the Elephant is nothing short of incredible.
We want to thank you from the bottom of Yag-kosha’s heart for taking the time to participate and create amazing pieces. Know that it was a tough process choosing these winners and even if you were not selected, you should be damn proud.
If you are mentioned here, make sure to speak up! And if you weren’t, please share with us your creations on the forums for all to see. Please also note not all pictures entered for these winners are inserted into this post, for sake of space.

Grand Prize Winners
#1
An incredible recreation and take on the tower. Complete with a garden surrounding an elephant shaped base! Make sure you take the time to watch the incredible tour that explores inside and out to see all the details. https://youtu.be/_kUbCZBDIM0
#2
This cross section of the tower submitted by Michael. They created their tower so that it is authentic to the “Conan and the tower of the elephant” manual with its story by Greg Lynch. The tower is 46 metres high; each floor contains a part of the story such as the library, a basement for the armory, and guards.
#3
If you loved the Tower of the Elephant story and are looking for more, you’ll love this entry. Ceyvie over on YouTube has created a story of a new adventurer named Bronk who tries his own hand at the tower. Watch as Bronk infiltrates the tower, battles enemies, takes a bathroom break, and climbs to the top. https://youtu.be/FwNzbBsEWs4
#4
Mylee’s impressive tower includes a dungeon area with a maze-like pathway to reach the top! Start through the storage room, make your way through the dungeon area with crocodiles, hostile humans, and more until you’ve made it! There were so many photos of this we’d like to share but unfortunately cannot fit into one post.
#5
Our final grand prize winner goes to Morpheanna for an absolutely creative comic made from screenshots of the game and pieced together to tell the story. Here are some screenshots, but you can find the full comic here on Imgur: https://imgur.com/a/xQPWRrj

Once your tower is complete you can take screenshots, video, or create your own comic. Just make sure it’s from within the Conan Exiles game. You don’t need to only include the tower; you can also include other aspects such as the garden surrounding it.
Judging will be based on creativity; how will you construct the Tower of the Elephant? The panel of judges consist of Community Managers at Funcom, as well as the masterminds behind The Tower of the Elephant board game.

We’re deploying an emergency hotfix aiming to take core of some of the critical issues that have arisen after Update 41. In particular, these fixes should address the problem with “lost characters” some players have experienced after playing with the new update. We have implemented measures to prevent this from happening again, and we have added a system to merge the old character with any profile that lost access to it even if those who got affected by it proceeded with the creation of a new character.
We have also addressed a number of crashing issues related to Windows 7, connectivity and logs, as well as optimized some settings to mitigate some of the stuttering problems reported by some players.
With this hotfix, we have also ironed out some remaining issues with the server browser, such as servers with "???" ping (they will now just show it temporarily while they're getting pinged) or listings that would cause a connection failure.
We would like to apologize for the frustration these issues have caused, and we would like to thank profusely all of you who helped us track down these issues by sending feedback and helping us test out some of these fixes.
Thanks for all the support, and stay safe.
Please remember that updates can mess with your installed mods. We suggest taking a backup of your current database before updating to any new patch if you have mods installed.
Fixed a number stuttering issues.
Fixed a crash that would occur when starting the game without internet connection.
Fixed a crash related to a log file.
Fixed a number of Windows 7 game crashes.
Optimized telemetry rates.
Fixed an issue where some players would be forced to recreate their character despite having one in that server. This should restore access to the old character for those who lost access to it, but access to the new duplicate is no longer possible.
Fixed a number of issues resulting in the server browser not showing correct information or that would prevent correct access to a server. Servers might still momentarily show "???" latency while they're being pinged, but it will update as soon as the process ends.
Today we’re releasing our new update, focused on re-balancing a few aspects of the game. We’ve focused on followers and world bosses, making thralls slightly less of a powerhouse, but also toning down bosses’ health pools accordingly. The goal of these changes is to increase player power compared to Followers. We’ll continue to look at ways to re-balance the game, and we can’t wait to show you what’s coming in the near future.
With this update we have also fixed many of the issues that affected the avatar system in the game, fixing some exploits that abused them as well as re-balancing some of its core mechanics. They are still not enabled in official servers, but we will let you know in advance once we flip the switch during the upcoming weeks.
Additional to these changes we have also implemented the Funcom Live Services into the game that aims to create a smoother user experience while playing online, as well as removed Denuvo from the game. And together with all these changes, we have also bundled fixes for crashes, server optimizations, some exploit fixes, fixes to Argossean pieces, gave the Abyssal Remnant a wake up call and much more!
Thank you all for your ongoing support and feedback. Stay safe!
