Hey all! Thank you so much for your continued feedback and reports. We will continue to roll out patch for all platforms to improve the game. Fixes include:

• Redshell plugin removed
  
• Server browser: PvP-F now shows as PvE-C
  
• Fixed a crash in character creation
  
• Fixed a problem where health went back to max after taking damage
  
• Fixed auto-lock and dodging sometimes happening on the spot
  
• Blunted Javelin no longer does concussion damage in melee (only throwing)
  
• Elixirs and some other buffs no longer get cancelled as if they were healing buffs
  
• Fixed a crash caused by lootbags
  
• Fixed a crash that could happen when building near destroyed placeables
  
• Fixed a crash in the decay system

In addition, South American servers #1976, #1986, #1996 have been moved to a new data center with better hardware successfully and are back up.


This is a message for everyone who has had issues with their servers having really long loading times and respawns taking several minutes. This is especially an issue for servers running on machines without an SSD.

We have discovered an issue with the unconscious bodies that are loaded on a server restart. It is causing heavy load on the game database.

If you are having these issues, we suggest you turn off the unconscious bodies by adding the following to your servers ServerSettings.ini
LogoutCharactersRemainInTheWorld=False

We will be turning this off for all our official servers until a patch with a fix is ready. At which point we will remind you to turn it back on.

Three of our South American servers (1976, 1986 and 1996) will be moved to a new data center with better hardware. We're moving them there as a step towards solving the issues we're seeing with those three servers. There's no ETA on the arrivals of these servers, but we will keep you updates on the progress.

Hello everyone!

It’s been a very hectic but also very exciting few days for us here at Funcom and I’m sure for all of you playing as well! It’s amazing seeing so many people joining us after launch, but all this interest has also created some challenges we’ve had to work through.

First, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who joined us during our journey from Early Access to launch. Your support, your interest and your excitement for Conan Exiles is greatly appreciated by everyone on the team.

During the first day of launch, the sheer amount of demand for official servers compared to demand for private servers exceeded our expectations and we reacted as fast as we could to find solutions. Since then we have almost doubled the total number of servers and we are working with our hosting partner to bring up even more servers as fast as possible.

Unfortunately, it’s been impossible for us to bring up new servers fast enough to meet the overwhelming demand, and that led us to the decision to revert the less populated PvE Conflict servers (which are PvE with PvP window and non-destructible buildings) into full PvP servers where the demand was significantly higher. We knew it wasn’t an optimal solution, but it felt like the right decision at that moment to meet the demand for more PvP servers. We were in a situation where we were unable to add new, fresh servers fast enough, and we had to make a tough decision.

Since we made this change we have received a massive amount of feedback from players. Your passionate reaction made it very clear that there is significant interest in servers with the PvE Conflict ruleset and we have been looking for solutions to bring them back.

In addition to introducing more PvE and PvP servers (which are still in highest demand), we will be also be bringing up new and fresh PvE Conflict servers. We decided to set up new ones to avoid disrupting the existing servers again. We will start with bringing these up in Europe, East and West Coast US, and Russia, and you can expect them to be live before this weekend.

We will also be adding PvE Conflict severs in other territories based on demand and as soon as we are able to.

Finally, we just want to say that we truly appreciate all the feedback we have received since yesterday. Our community team has been working very hard going through all your comments and passing them on to the rest of the team. Thank you for your patience and thank you for voicing your concerns and giving us the opportunity to set things right.

It’s thrilling to see so many Exiles surviving, building, and dominating since launch, and we truly, sincerely appreciate your support through the first day. What a tremendous response in the past 24 hours!

It has not been without its challenges; you’ve made it clear you want more Official Servers to play on, and we are working to rise up and meet your demands as a thriving community.

New servers have sprung up over the past 24 hours, and we are continuing to bring more servers online - our goal by the end of today is to nearly double the number of Official Servers since launch, across all platforms and regions.

You’ve also made it clear that you want more PvP servers! By popular demand, more PvP servers are on the way. We are also switching all existing “PvE-Conflict” servers to the regular PvP ruleset. This should help streamline the modes and make choosing a server much more simple.

Don’t worry, we’re simply changing the mode on these servers - your existing characters and buildings won’t go anywhere.

Dear exiles!

We're so incredibly excited to see so many people play the game, both new and returning players. We're coming up on 20,000 concurrent players on PC alone, which is absolutely awesome!

Our official servers are getting full very quickly, so we're in the process of rolling out additional servers in regions where we see a need for it.

Dear Exiles,

It is finally time to step down from the cross. After 15 months in Early Access Conan Exiles has been released on PC, Xbox and PS4. It's been quite the journey for us here at Funcom, with both highs and lows, but we're also incredibly proud of our final product.

With this launch day patch the world of Conan Exiles expands greatly with the addition of the new Swamp and volcano biomes. In the Swamp you can find the Pagoda of Boundless Lusts, where the priests and preistesses of Derketo worship their goddesses dual nature. Travel to the Forgotten City of Xel-Ha and discover the ruins of an ancient Lemurian City. Maybe you'll even meet the Witch Queen?

Braving the craggy peaks of the volcano will net you Obsidian, one of the strongest metals there is, but be careful, as the mysterious Cult of Skelos might not take too kindly to outsiders. Those who brave the depths of the volcano will be rewarded handsomly.

Dear Exiles,

On the 25th of January, 2017 we released the CGI trailer for Conan Exiles. In it, Conan himself poses the question – "What will you become?"

It was an obvious call to action for you, the players, but it was also a question hanging over the development team. Here, at the start of our Early Access journey, what was our game going to become?

The day has finally arrived when the answer to that question will be revealed. Over the past year, we've worked hard to get Conan Exiles ready for launch and we're proud of what we have achieved.

And when I say, we, I'm not talking about the development team. I am talking about you, Exiles.

Those of you who suffered through the bugs and issues of Early Access and Game Preview, those of you who constantly gave us feedback and reviews, those of you who stood with us through thick and thin and really gave Conan Exiles the opportunity to grow, to adjust and to become the game that it is today.

To the modders, the streamers, the wiki editors, the youtubers, the exploit hunters and above all, the players – it has been a humbling experience to work with you all. The entire Conan Exiles development team says thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Without your passion and fire, Conan Exiles would have emerged from the forge a very different and undoubtedly inferior game.

We've learned together, grown together and hopefully, we'll go on to conquer the world together. And as we pass this milestone in development, the launch of Conan Exiles on PC, Xbox One and PS4, it is time for us to leave the cross behind. To tear the nails from our hands and step forth on the journey that awaits. To see what we have become.

Because, after all, this is only the beginning.
