Hotfix 2.2.2 is here!
Fixed two D3D12 related crashes introduced with the 2.2.0 update.
Fixed crash that could occur on boot for servers with stale files from before the 2.2.0 update.
Fixed login queues disconnecting players when the queue finishes.

The past few weeks have been very busy for us as we’ve been working on the UE5.8 upgrade, new Legacy of the Giant-Kings content, new Bazaar bundles, wrapping up the Modding Contest and so much more.
Patch 2.2.0 is now live, bringing Unreal Engine 5.8.2 and Iris, helping lay the groundwork for future improvements.
The adventure continues on October 6, when The Legacy of the Giant-Kings: Part Two arrives, bringing new mysteries, challenges and secrets to both the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah.
We’ve also celebrated our first-ever Modding Contest, with the community voting for the Top 10 mods, while creators across the community continue to impress us with incredible work across the Exiles Lands.

Patch 2.2.0 is here and with it comes Unreal Engine 5.8.2, bringing the game onto the latest engine version and laying the groundwork for further improvements.
This patch also has Iris enabled – making further improvements to the game. Iris will help with alleviating performance bottlenecks on dedicated servers.
So far we’ve seen servers experience roughly half the lag they did before Iris was enabled.
Iris replaced the old UE4 networking layer so a server keeps its speed as it fills up. Before the update, every extra player cost the server more time: a quiet server ran at full speed, but a full one took eight times longer to do the same work.
We also want to hear your experience with the new engine upgrade and Iris.
Have you noticed a difference in performance, good or bad? Feel free to provide your feedback on the latest patch HERE, we are always working on improving the Conan Exiles experience so your voice matters!
Additionally we are aware that this latest update forced a recook on all mods. That is because of serialization changes in the base engine.
The net effect is the same - mods being flagged as out of date until the authors recook them.
Good news is that modders have been made aware of this situation before hand so they are working hard on recooking their mods.
On October 6, The Legacy of the Giant-Kings: Part Two continues the ongoing new four-part story arc, taking you deeper into the mystery unfolding across the Exiled Lands.
Mysterious rifts are spreading across the lands. What lies beyond them and what ancient secrets are waiting to be uncovered?
The Legacy of the Giant-Kings has only just begun to reveal its secrets. Gather your thralls, friends or enemies and prepare for new challenges in both the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah.

Thank you all for joining the Public Beta and for helping us dig up bugs.
For everyone that participated in the 2.2.0 Public beta testing, you will be receiving your Golden Pickaxe soon.
The team is currently collecting all player ID so they can send the pickaxe your way. You will be receiving this directly in game (live version) and you will find it in your ancestral knowledge.
The Public Beta Client servers are now offline but these we will back up once the next update is ready to be tested by you.

At the beginning of the month we’ve experienced some crashing issues with Xbox official and private servers. These issues have since been resolved but we wanted to give you a bit more insight into what was the root cause of this issue.
A problem occurred with some legacy middleware used in the MS platform versions of the game and this caused the servers to crash.
It was disabled and we pushed the fix out as soon as we could but as mentioned before, since this was a client fix, we had to wait for Xbox certification to approve the new build.
As always, thank you to our Xbox player community for being so kind and patient while we worked on resolving the situation.

While the wait has been long, we ask that you wait a little longer. October is right around the corner and more will be revealed then.

Added stat modifiers to Giant-king & Vendhyan armor sets as follows:

Fixed several server crash issues.
Fixed asking for a password when joining servers if you’ve previously created a coop game with a password.

Metal parts from the Giant-king Vassal Sentinel set do not change color in the crafting bench preview when dyeing.

Update 2.2.0 for Conan Exiles Enhanced has arrived.
This update upgrades the game to Unreal Engine 5.8.2 and replaces the previous UE4 networking model with Iris, a new networking replication system created by Epic.
Since the launch of the Enhanced update, we’ve been working to improve server performance. The move to Unreal Engine 5.8 allowed us to complete our migration to the Iris networking stack, which changes how replicated data is processed. Rather than repeatedly processing every replicated actor for each client, Iris sends updates only when needed, reducing the server cost of managing large numbers of players and placeables.
Iris doesn’t remove all server performance limitations, given the freedom players have to build at scale. But in our testing, the move to Iris has brought the biggest server performance improvement we’ve made so far.
The update also introduces new Enhanced graphics settings, alongside a range of performance, stability, modding, gameplay, and visual fixes and improvements.

Alongside the update, new bundles will also be arriving in the Bazaar starting today. These will be released on a rotating schedule, so keep an eye out for new Armor, Weapons, and Decorations!

On October 6, The Legacy of the Giant-Kings: Part Two continues the ongoing new four-part story arc, taking you deeper into the mystery unfolding across the Exiled Lands.
In the wake of the events surrounding Akhamet and the Cyclopean Halls, mysterious tears have begun to spread. Strange rifts now scar the world, opening paths to dangerous otherworldly challenges - and the rewards awaiting within may be worth the risk.
Mysterious new rifts will begin appearing across the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah. Seek them out within existing enemy camps, step through the breach, and enter hostile arenas beyond reality.
Inside you will find mysteries. Choose your challenge carefully, overcome the forces waiting on the other side, and claim new materials and rewards for those strong enough to survive.
Part Two also expands your sorcerous arsenal with four new spells. Unlock them with materials found through rift encounters, then upgrade a new tome to deepen your mastery of the arcane.
Call upon a defensive ward to help protect yourself against danger.
Control the battlefield and hinder your enemies with the power of the Void.
Unleash corrupting magic on those caught within its reach.
Ready your magic for swift casting when every moment matters.
Whether you prefer holding the line, controlling a crowd, spreading corruption, or casting at speed, these spells offer new ways to wield Sorcery in battle.
The rifts have drawn more than just familiar enemies into their wake. The Mi-Go return, bringing their unsettling presence to the Exiled Lands once more.
Prepare to face Mi-Go enemies, including a formidable Mi-Go mini world boss. Those who prevail can also earn themed rewards - and perhaps even add a Mi-Go thrall or pet to their settlement.

From August 18th to August 30th Head hunting is back and bigger than ever! For a limited time the event is available in Conan Exiles Enhanced. Choose a side, hunt sorcerers or players (in PVP) and bring their skulls or bodies to the Khitan bounty hunters or the Dogs of the Desert for faction rewards.
Sorcerer priests and Khitan bounty hunters can spawn in any human camp.
10 merchant locations per faction per map.
4 skull types to collect: Magi, Sorcerer, Bounty Hunter, Bounty Hunter Leader.
Currencies: Ancient Obolus (Khitan) and Flesh Lucre (Dogs of the Desert).
Join either Khitan Bounty Hunters or Dogs of the Desert, and switch sides by paying a small currency fee at vendors.
PVP: Hunt enemy faction players to climb the bounty board; the top bounty hunter at event end earns extra rewards.
PVE: Complete commissions and kills to climb leaderboards; top players per faction earn extra currency and a selectable T4 thrall.
Both factions get rerun rewards from previous events plus new, faction-locked items, including:
Epic armor/crafting sets themed around sorcery and craftsmanship.
Two legendary weapons - Dogs of the Desert faction get a new arcane focused staff Khitan faction gets a legendary bow ), a new Dogs of the Desert faction armor, and flashy VFX placeables.
Named followers, special armor and weapon fittings, and new decorative placeables per faction.
In addition new Giant-King themed items will arrive at the bazaar during the event. These will be available:
The Great Serpent's Gift
Brew venom as powerful as the Great Serpent's with these alchemical instruments.
Bundle Name: Warmaker's Armory
War is inevitable, and when it comes, terrible. Prepare for war with your own Giant-king smithy.
Bundle Name: Soldier's Refuge
Even the most hardened soldiers need somewhere lay down their arms and rest. An austere, yet elegant set of furniture, fit for a soldier's barracks.

Pay homage to the grandeur of a bygone civilization with this building set.

This patch marked the beginning of the Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc, introducing The Cyclopean Halls dungeon and the Legendary Repair System.
It has been fantastic seeing so many of you dive into the new content, overcome its challenges, and share your adventures with the community. Whether you’ve conquered the dungeon, uncovered its secrets, or shown off your hard-earned rewards, your excitement has been incredible to watch.
We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share thoughtful feedback, report issues, and suggest improvements. Your input helps us better understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can continue improving future content drops for everyone.
We are preparing to release our next update 2.1.0 on the Public Beta Client. This update will become available August 11, 2026 4:00 PM and the test servers will be up for approximately 7 days.
Your participation directly helps improve and tweak the quality of future updates, as it helps us identify bugs across all gameplay areas, making sure that tech works as it should, and much more. We’re looking forward to working alongside the community throughout the testing process.
