The Grand Finals are already on their way for RGL.gg’s Spring 2021 events. Teams have fought hard all season to earn their spot in the playoffs brackets, and only two teams now remain in the 6v6 format. Finalists Froyotech and GlobalClan Ice will be facing off for $12,000 on April 22nd at 11 PM EDT! Watch the match live on RGL.gg’s official Twitch channel!

The Spring 2021 events might be coming to an end, but don’t worry! If you're looking to join the fun, it will resume in May for off-season cups, which are one-time events hosted by the league for testing purposes and to promote new content. Well, throw that to-do list into your overflowing dumpsters because there’s a new April Fools Mann vs Machine tour in town that’s served like heated leftovers fresh out of the microwave!

Operation Starched Silliness is an April Fools MvM charity tour brought to you by Tindall Berry that pits the Mercs against a meme-fueled robotic rampage. Complete all the waves in this intermediate-difficulty community tour and earn an in-game medal! Event servers are available worldwide in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

In addition to waging a war against the memes, there is also a charity fundraising campaign for Doctors Without Borders to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations of $5 USD or above will earn an in-game donor medal! Item donations will also be accepted. Click here for instructions on how to donate.

This event is being organized by Phoenix Red, the team behind Lockdown Throwdown and Copenhagen Games, and has a prize pool of $600.

An update to Team Fortress 2 has been released. The update will be applied automatically when you restart Team Fortress 2. The major changes include:

• Added pl_pier to the list of maps for Casual matchmaking
  
• Updated pl_pier
  • Added additional exits to forward spawns
    
  • Added windows to RED final spawn
    
  • Added small platform to the first beach
    
  • Improved general clipping
    
  • Players can no longer build on the tables in RED spawn

• Fixed the Strange Count Transfer Tool not being able to transfer stats between Mad Milk and Mutated Milk

• Fixed not being able to use Taunt: The Table Tantrum Unusualifier on Taunt: The Boiling Point
  
• Updated Taunt: The Pooped Deck to fix some sounds
  
• Updated the localization files

  • Fixed an issue some players were having with candy cane textures
    
  • Updated the lighting
• Updated pl_wutville_event
  • The Smissmas trees are now properly colliding with mercs and ordinance
    
  • The larger first BLU spawn has been re-zoned for proper class changes and no more Engineer shenanigans
    
  • Wooden crates and furniture from the 2Fort division has had the minimum DirectX levels restored and should now be visible to mercs
    
  • Clipping of ledges and outcroppings around the Control Points has been installed to keep the merc's boots on the ground
    
  • The train tunnels will no longer allow for early escape

The long-awaited Invite RGL.gg Grand Final for their Traditional 6v6 format is finally here!
