we are happy to announce that the Switzerland region is now available for Aerofly FS 2. Some of you might know this scenery from our first Aerofly FS version. This version for Aerofly FS 2 has been enhanced with night lighting at all airports and we also increased the detail level of most airports.
Please note, that we have set a special Early Access price for this DLC. Once we move out of Early Access, the Switzerland DLC will be sold at a higher price.

we have uploaded a new update for Aerofly FS 2 in our Beta channel. If you want to try it, you need to opt into Beta versions for Aerofly FS 2 from within the Steam client. Keep in mind however that this version might not run stable at this time.
Here is a quick overview of whats new:
- We have implemented a 'repeat' function for the Autopilot controls - Bug fixes when using Windows 8 or 10 with a text magnification of > 100% - Preliminary support for a 2 or 3 monitor setup with individual view settings for each monitor. This requires some manual editing in the main.mcf config file. - Better texture upload functionality with less stuttering on selected 3D cards - This update also prepares some internal structures for the upcoming Switzerland DLC
If you have a 3 monitor setup and you are using the NVIDIA Surround technique, you can have different views on each of the 3 monitors. To achieve this, add the following lines to the main.mcf config file of Aerofly FS 2:
<[list_tmsettings_separate_3d_view][separate_3d_view_list][]
<[tmsettings_separate_3d_view][element][0]

we have just released a free DLC for Aerofly FS 2 that will add higher resolution aerial images to all airports in California, Nevada and Arizona.
Some background information: The resolution of the aerial images is optimized in such a way that around airports you will see up to 1 meter resolution per pixel, the further away you fly the lower the resolution.
Please note that we might change this DLC during Early Access by either optimizing the content or adding new stuff.

we have published an update that addresses a few 'quick to fix' issues. First of all, thank you very much for all the Feedback we have received so far. This really helps us to improve Aerofly FS 2 during the Early Access program. We will post more information regarding our future roadmap soon.
Here is what has changed:
2016-06-02 - Version v2.0.1 EA1.6
Changed pressing ESC while in pause/replay unpauses only instead of going back to the main menu
Fixed Replay is available longer until you change or reposition the aircraft
Added a reset button in the controller menu. All controller devices including the keyboard can be reset to their default assignments
Added support for the TrackIR roll axis
Changed Trim changes smoothly while trim button pressed, no need for repeated button presses
Added help overlay for controller configuration menu
Changed simulation is not paused when another window/application gets the focus
Changed wind speed at ground level is higher for a given setting now
Added The time before automatic replacement after a crash is adjustable in the Settings now
Added a button to toggle sound on/off. Default assigment is 'Q'
Fixed Altitude callouts are only played in cockpit and internal views
Fixed Toggling the flight info doesn't reset the replay position anymore
Fixed flight info size for large aspect ratio setups / widescreen
Fixed Flight school mission can be select via mouse wheel as in aircraft menu
Fixed autopilot is correctly resetted after selecting a new starting position
Fixed Autopilot selected vertical speed is correctly displayed in flight info
Fixed Time rolls over correctly at 23:59 UTC
Changed HUD and 'no aircraft/no panel' viewer position to the pilot's position
Fixed Reflection map is re-generated after changing the airplane
Added shift mode for the cockpit views. Head position can be adjusted up/down, left/right, forward/backwards. Default assignment is 'PageUp' / 'PageDown' for for up and down movement.
