Dare To Power Up the Doom Weapon?
Where the tournament took place, now stands at its center, the ShadowReaper of Doom. It wants to be fed!
Talk to the ShadowReaper of Doom to begin your Unlucky Doom Essence quests. These quests require you to defeat Gaven Ravenspire in the Crypt Challenge or face off once again with the Doom Guardian to gain Unlucky Doom Essence. Use this essence to feed the darkness and power up your ShadowReaper of Doom.
After upgrading to the Bone ShadowReaper of Doom, you will be able to accept the quest to upgrade it to the level 44 Horrific ShadowReaper of Doom with 940 power! The new Best In Slot weapon! However… this requires a great Sacrifice of Power…
This Special Artifact will cast on you the Special effect DOOOOM! while equipped as your main weapon: Increasing your Attack by 10% but reducing your total HP by -20%.
Sacrificial remorse? Skew may be willing to help you out. But just this once.
But first, see what the Ghost Guardian outside of the crypt has to offer…
Ravenspire Darkness-Touched Weapons
The Ghost Guardian will help you craft the Ravenspire Dark Bow and Ravenspire Dark Sword with ‘Guardian’s Oath Fulfilled’ tokens dropped by the enemies inside of the crypt.
Guardian Serving Doom
In taking this Guardian-only quest from the Ghost Guardian in Ravenspire, you can embrace the darkness and follow the path towards earning the title of “Doom Guardian”.
There’s So Much More To Do!
There are plenty of temporary seasonal and permanent adventures you can do that are perfect for spooky season.
Taco Day is gone. Taculous has been vanquished for now and Taco Tito has taken his tacos home to feast on.
Nevermore leaves Battleon around November 8th, but you can return to Ravenspire year round.
Thank you and… Next!
We’ve got a special adventure prepared that you don’t want to miss! Also, you can get a sneak peak at our new inventory sorting improvements on PTR now! If you have not joined our Public Testing Realm servers, click here to find out how.
You’re the special guest for Ravenspire’s annual Moon Festival. The town is making preparations for the big tournament but strange portals and mysterious people have been popping up around town. Perhaps the local Chronomancer can help you put things right in the nick of time!
Welcome to Ravenspire!
The Duchess of Ravenspire has invited you as the honored guest at the annual Ravenspire Moon Festival. People have flocked from all over to celebrate and compete in the big tournament. The town has been through hard times lately, so they are really looking forward to this event. However, strange portals have been popping up around town making the residents nervous. Will you make things right and help them make this the best Moon Festival yet?
Talk to Nevermore in Battleon to get started, and when she returns to Ravenspire in a few weeks, you can always return to finish your quests through the House of Oddities - where all Friday the 13th stories live - or go to the Side Stories in the Adventure Menu.
Complete the story to earn the title “Savior of Ravenspire” and unlock Bonus Content!
Sirius, the Chronomancer
Sirius is the first resident of Ravenspire to welcome you. Chronomancers have the ability to travel through time. He knows just how great you are, and how dark the future can be… He expects great things from you! But be careful. Trying to alter time too much can be dangerous.
Birth of a Doom Weapon?!
A Mysterious Strangers seems intent on creating this Doom Weapon in Ravenspire… and that YOU are the one meant to wield it. When the moon rises and the barrier between the planes of darkness and light is weakest, only then is when a Doom Weapon can be created. This is a once in a lifetime chance. Can you prevent the Mysterious Stranger from summoning whatever forces are needed to create such a powerful and evil weapon? What will you do if he succeeds? The fate of this Doom Weapon, and the world, is in your hands.
If you choose to wield this weapon and empower it with the blood of your enemies, you will gain great power but at great cost.
If you would like more Friday the 13th content, head to the House of Oddities in Battleon to play more stories rife with terror and suspense. You can travel into the Odd Snow Globe for an unforgettable night at a cabin in the woods, teleport to a different dimension using the Transdimensional Crystal to encounter a friend’s worse half trapped inside, or go back in time with famed Aurelio Voltaire to learn how about his daring daring adventure with pirates on Skullpunch Island.
For something a little different, Dottie, the High ArchCounselor of Camp Gonnagetcha is in town for a few weeks for those who want to face their fears against the camp legend Shrade. This stalking horror comes in many forms and terrorizes the camp by night. Save the camp or, at least, save yourself.
Things are Changing at Camp Gonnagetcha
Camp Craft Badges are now Tokens. We’ve increased the droprate of these tokens from all mobs.
Camp Badges and quests to turn in Camp Badges at Zip and Ace have been removed.
Camp Uniform crafting shops have been consolidated into a single shop where items can be purchased with Camp Craft Badges.
The barrier between Lore and Mystcroft is open once again for Mogloween. Say hello to our spooky friends from Mystcroft if you see them around town. Myx the Cauldron is on the bridge to show you into town and present to you the previous years’ Mogloween Collections. There is plenty to see and do in Mystcroft. What tricks and treats will you encounter this Mogloween season?

Your guild has become a lot more interactive with new features!
Guillermo the Guild Representative is in Battleon to help you get familiar with guilds. He’s got the answers to your basic questions regarding guilds, but in this post we’re going to dive a little deeper into the details. Guild Leaders can provide guild boosts, members can help get their guild to the top of the leaderboard, and more! Plus, you’ve got a week of double gold rewards to celebrate.
A Guide to Guilds
If you already know the basics, feel free to jump to the bottom where we have listed “Just the Features Please”.
Starting a Guild is Easy!
Open the game menu and click on the Guild button. If you are not already in a guild, you will see a short description of how to create a Guild Name and Guild Tag. Then you must pay 10,000 Gold to complete the guild creation. If your Guild Name and/or Tag has not been used already, your guild is complete and you are now a Guild Leader.
Grow Your Guild
Click on a player’s nameplate and choose “Send Guild Invite”. This sends them an immediate invitation to join your guild. If they choose Yes, they are added as proud members of your guild. Guild Invites can be turned off in the game Settings, so make sure the player has your consent before you invite them! Now, invite your friends to join your Guild and watch it grow!
Guild Menu
While you are part of a Guild, clicking the Guild Icon will take you to the Guild Menu. This shows you:
Guild Name
Guild Info (? button)
Guild Shop (Guild Leader only) - NEW
Guild Leaderboard button - NEW
Guild Level and XP progress in Level - NEW
List of Guild Members (icons denote rank; Guild Leader / Officer / Member)
Guild Tax % - NEW
Edit Guild Tax % button (Guild Leader only) - NEW
Guild Member List also displays each member's "last online", a highly requested feature. Options for interacting with individual members are also here, such as Whisper, Invite, Summon etc. Guild Leaders and Officers have additional permissions such as Demote, Promote or Kick. Just click on the members name to interact.
Guild Leaders can update the guild details from the Guild Info (?) button and update the MOTD (message of the day). Other members can click on the (?) button to see the MOTD as well as other details or to Leave the Guild.
Additional Details on Guild Taxes and Boosts
Guild Taxes apply to all members including the Guild Leader. The taxed gold is deducted automatically from all gold that your guild members receive while playing. This gold goes into the Guild Fund which the Guild Leader uses to purchase Guild Powers to give the whole guild a temporary boost. Guild Leaders purchase boosts from the Guild Shop (Toolbox icon) which appears for all of the Guild Members as an incon above their hotbar just like a regular boost/buff.

Here’s a quick review of the features in a simplified format for those who already know the basics.

Loremaster Hazel has some information about the next item: the Cosmic Pauldrons. Return to the Loremaster’s Lodge across from Yulgar’s Inn to get started. She will be excited to share what she's learned!
Researching the Cosmic Raiment
Investigate the lairs of terrifying monsters and navigate mystical glens for more clues on Hazel’s research. This third piece is called the Cosmic Pauldrons. Once you have obtained all of the materials, you will be able to piece together your Cosmic item. If you so choose, you may ‘awaken’ its Epic power through collecting additional materials.
Note: If you are still working on piecing together the Garment or Wrap, check out the Research Crystal on Hazel’s desk. It’ll help get you back to the locations where you found the crafting materials for your item.
The Cosmic Pauldrons
Begin researching the third piece of the raiment by choosing the “Unearthing the Raiment” option when you talk to Hazel in the Loremaster's Lodge. Don’t forget to take your trusty Cosmic Companion along with you, so you can Turn In and Accept your quests while you’re away from Battleon.
Additional Cosmic Quests
When you have completed the current questline, you can Accept a Tangled Skein daily quest. These quests allow you to gather additional Threads for crafting all of the Cosmic items. Meanwhile, you can also Accept the repeatable “Gathering the Threads” quests to earn Threads specific to a certain item. The repeatable quests give you less Threads but you can do the quest as many times as you want in one day.
