Everyone’s inventory space is getting an increase. This is our gift to you! Everyone gets 30 more slots. Guardians also get an additional 10 for a total of 40 new slots. This increase now makes the base inventory 90 total slots for all future players as well.
Note: Due to the app stores not being able to finish the review process in time, the inventory expansion has been delayed. The changes will go live as soon as it is approved.
Gaz’s Last Chance Shop
Gaz has collected all of the regular (non-Guardian) promo items from the past two years and put them in a shop. Now is your chance to get any regular promo item you missed out on. Gaz is offering these items for a flat fee of 1,000 Dragon Crystals. The Last Chance Shop is only open for a limited time and will leave his stall on January 31st. The promo items from 2021 and 2022 will then become Legacy.
Reminder: Guardians cam always purchase any Guardian-only promo item they missed from Fortes in his "Special Guardian Rewards" shop with Guardian Class Tokens.
January 2023 Promo Item: Axe of Nulgore
Forged in the Furious Fires of Mount Nulgore. This Axe holds the rage and fury of Nulgath and his followers. The Axe of Nulgore is included with all packages from the Upgrade Shop, including Guardian and Lore Strider. Guardian packages also give the Toxic Axe of Nulgore. Check your inventory on your next log in after purchase.
Note: All accounts that had made a purchase from the Upgrade Shop prior to this update on January 1st, 2023, were retroactively awarded these items.

Next week is the first Friday the 13th of the year! Get ready for a horrifying new adventure!
Are you ready for the final boss fight of the year? Join us in AQ3D to complete the entire Lolosia Saga. Complete the Sea God’s Trident and reach the new level cap of 42! Plus, we’re preparing for the New Year’s Eve Live Events.
The Shipyard (Dungeon)
King Nautilus will help repair the trident but Atlantis will be vulnerable to the Sea Ogres with him being distracted by this task. Find the Shipyard and stop the Sea Ogre incursions once and for all. Inside this dungeon you will battle your way through Sea Ogres, dangerous sea animals, and… darkness.
Hint: Look for the sand paths and use pools of Light to combat the Darkness.
The Sea God Rises (Boss Fight)
Race to the water’s surface to face the Sea God once the trident has been reforged. Amongst the debris of shipwrecks, avoid the Sea God’s tentacles and combat his powerful attacks with help from your friends. You must find a way to subdue him to bring peace to all who sail, and live in, the sea. Talk to Aquella to replay the story version of this fight, or play the level 40 Challenge with up to 10 of your fellow players.
Note: There is also a chance to pick up a Coral Headpiece which resembles Atlantean Water Elf ears.
Aqua Soldier Gear (Level 40+)
You can obtain pieces of Aqua Soldier gear from the Shipyard and the Sea God fight. However, Sulfin has returned to his shop with Kenai in the city of Atlantis. They have shops to help you acquire missing pieces and upgrade their power stats, if you like.
King Nautilus Set (Cosmetic)
The Royal Guards know how you can get your hands on a set of King Nautilus’s clothing. Earn enough Royal Favor to persuade the palace tailors to let you take home a set of your own.
2022 Frostval Collection
Huzzah, it’s here! Visit Blizzy in Battleon or in the town of Winter’s Grasp to get the 2022 Frostval Collection now. Buy the Collector’s Chest and get the title “Frosted”.
Elvira is Preparing to Leave AQ3D
Elvira has moved next to the Travel Portal in preparation to leave the game. All access to 20th Anniversary content has moved with her and is only available on Elvira now. When Artix finishes his Live Events on New Year’s Eve, Elvira and all of the 20th Anniversary content will be removed. The individual mini-game maps will return to the game permanently after we have done some re-working to completely remove some of our special guests from the content. 20th Anniversary Troves will be able to be completed when the maps return.
Artix will be back for his New Year’s Eve Live Events to ring in 2023 around the world. This year he will only be able to host 3 Live Events, but we encourage you all to ring in the new year with your friends in AQ3D as well.

-fixed a connection issue which could sometimes prevent NPC interactions from loading -adjusted some values to do with scaling; players should have a smoother power curve when levelling -fixed an issue with the Reconnect feature which could desync you with the server time -fixed an issue where Quests sometimes did not display the proper XP and gold rewards vs what is actually received
Whether you are trying to rank up your classes or trying to max out the level cap, you will get further this week with 50% bonus Experience Points (including Class Experience).
Free Gift and Gift’thulus!
Talk to Artix in Yulgar’s Inn to receive your Holiday Present. Choose one or more of the free gifts in the Holiday Presents shop. Also, check your inventory because Frostval came early. You will find a handful of free Gifting Runes in your Tokens so you can spawn Gift’thulus with your friends and fellow players.
Where is the Atlantis Finale?
The team has been working hard on the new maps, dungeons, and overall gameplay experience; however, we do not currently feel that it is ready for release. After discussing it with our team, we decided that delaying the release is what was best for the wellbeing of the team and the player experience. Since players frequently request that we take the extra time to give the best quality experience that we can, we feel confident that you will support our decision. So, we are giving ourselves a couple extra weeks to release a finale worth waiting for.
One of the setbacks faced was with the Unity upgrade. Our system has been long out of date because it takes a lot of dev time to make our game compatible with the new features in an upgrade. However, we have seen the issues that persist from being out of date becoming more frequent. During the upgrade process we ran into some kinks that require our devs to go in manually to fix. We ended up reverting the upgrade for now until we can set aside the dedicated time required to successfully resolve these issues. As of now, we have no concrete estimate of when the upgrade will happen; though it will be the start to solving long-standing bugs and providing a better experience for everyone.

Visit the social district to get some icy cold vengeance on Frostfang. Defeat him to craft the Glacial Piercer bow.

Yulgar and Serenity put up decorations around the Inn. You should stop by and warm up. The Giving Shrub is back too! Which means....
Giftthulu is back!
Buy a Gifting Rune from the shub at the Inn. They allow you to spawn a Gift'thulu! It is a giant boss monster present that players can battle. It drops prizes.
This year will have a fresh leaderboard. Last year's top gifters will be permanently memorialized on a special web page which will list names and their amount. Also, the top 10 gifters from last year will be receiving a special badge & title (releasing next week after the art is done).
The new leaderboard will run until March.
