Darkon stands alone in the Social District, ready to face any challenger who dares to claim his prized artifacts. He will reward you for your effort, but others will pay you greatly for challenging him.



This dark and strange creature will reward you for challenging Darkon multiple times. When you have succeeded, return to 72.B to turn-in the quest and trade in your hard earned Darkened Shards for Fiendish prizes.

Songs have been written about the great beasts of Gravendoor. Their bones are revered and are often adorned on only the best of weapons and items.

The Skulls of Gravendoor Flame Daggers is included with all packages from the Upgrade Shop, including Guardian and Lore Strider. Guardian packages also give an alternate version in purple, called the "Skulls of Gravendoor Dark Flame Daggers”, which also includes fire effects. Check your weapon inventory on your next login after purchase.

Hedwig Hootenheim, the Battleon branch bank manager, has hired new staff to help at the bank! You can pay for the services of any, or all, of the moglin Bank Helpers or take Hootenheim’s excitable nephew off his hands.
 


Twilly, Twig, and surprisingly Zorbak, have been hired as Bank Helpers at the Battleon Bank. Now you can access the contents of your bank vaults from wherever you are. Each moglin is geared up with a backpack to store… or share?... the contents of your bank vault. Just give them a pat on the head and they’ll give you access.



Do an old bank manager a favor and take Windsor off his hands, will you? Hootenheim loves his nephew, but… Windsor is too excited about banking and can be a distraction. Show Hootenheim that you’re a capable adventurer and he’ll gladly hand off Windsor to you as a bank assistant. Though… Hootenheim will want to check in on his nephew from time to time, so Windsor will bring you to Uncle Hootenheim at the bank instead of carrying a backpack with the contents of your bank vault like the moglins do. It’s a win-win!



Our Space Madness release was a hit and we loved making the spacesuits, so we added a few more to your Lunar Crafting.

Warlic received a distress signal from the moon. He crafted a potion for you that will send you to the moon’s surface… hopefully in one piece. On arrival, a distant, mechanical beeping lures you to the source of the distress signal. Something, or someone, is out there and needs your help!



A hard landing caused this Lunar Explorer’s ship heavy damage. James McAllister, and his repair droid Bud-E, need help finding critical pieces of their spaceship to complete the repairs.



Defend the ship from the XenoScythe as James and Bud-E finish the ship repairs. While you’re at it, see if you can find out what the XenoScythe are doing here and what happened to the rest of the ship’s crew.

The more evidence you find, the more concerned James McAllister feels for his crew and his own safety. What exactly happened here? Was it a trap? And what will happen to James if he can’t get off the moon?

Hop into AdventureQuest 3D and start this all new main story by traveling to Seleden... the Red Forest, and level up to 37!



This story release is for players of all levels, and contains special content for players level 35+. You will find new quests, drops, crafts, side quests, and challenge fights.



Enter the Red Forest. Mysterious red orbs float in the air as a sense of pure evil stands the hair up on the back of your neck. Travel to this forest over-run with fiendish energy so strong that it corrupted the creatures of the forest. What could have happened here to cause such corruption?


Victor Lionfang is a heroic and righteous Paladin of the Golden Onslaught. Not just any Paladin, he is their leader's son. Seeking to prove himself worthy in his Father's eyes, Victor is seeking to do the impossible. He wants to slay Dage and destroy his Undead Legion. How? There is rumor of a shattered sword that has the power to do so in Seleden forest.

The townspeople seem to see no evil and speak no evil… nor speak anything at all really. However there is a cleric at the Red Monastery who seems to know a little about what’s going on in Seleden. Perhaps he can help and the Golden Onslaught retrieve this weapon. Afterall, clerics are on the side of good… right?



You should be warned that scouts reported seeing Undead Legion troops led by Kragan Zul heading towards the Red Forest. He is an undead Battlemage who's recent conquests have made him a rising (dark) star within the legion. Only the unwise would ever attempt to battle Kragan Zul at his full power. But if someone did manage to defeat him, the glory and rewards would be... EPIC.

Do you possess a Legendary Sunfury Scythe? If so, you will be pleased to discover there is a way to upgrade it in the Nulgath Saga: Part 1. Obtain the Corrupted Fiend Saber from the Monastery Challenge Fight. This is the base item used to craft the Malcorrupted Fiend Saber. Then combine it with your level 35 Sun Fury Scythe to create the upgraded level 36 Sun Fury Scythe (780 base power). All of this crafting can be done within the Monastery Lobby in the Red Monastery Crafting shop.

For the rest of us, this is but the first part of the Nulgath Saga. It will unfold to reveal all as we decend into the very depths of madness.

Aria now has an assortment of dogs available to adopt, including a quest to become the owner of very good boi Klaus. If you can’t afford to adopt, there are still Training Pets available through her Learning About Pets quest line.

Have you been saving up your Pet Feed from the Daily Treasure Chests? Good. You can use the Pet Feed to buy a variety of Training Pets from Aria. There are drickens, frogzards, trobbles… all sorts of unconventional pets. You can unlock more of them through Aria’s “Learning About Pets” quests. You can also get more Pet Feed the “Get More Pet Feed” and, new, “Helping Out More” daily quests.


Find Maximus near Cysero’s Forge in Battleon to explore his newest shop: Legacy Sandsea Rewards. This shop contains two full cosmetic armor sets representing the Wind and Sand pyramid keepers in Sandsea. These use regular Capstones and the item costs were adjusted to suit cosmetics.

Need Capstones? Each time you hit max level, you can keep filling the XP bar to earn 100 Capstones.

The Nulgath Saga!
The time is finally upon us.... The new multi-part Nulgath saga is about to begin. Your adventure will start in the creepy red forest of Seleden. Meet an all new cast of ambitious paladins, strange townsfolk, and devious fiendstresses. An iconic and unfathomably powerful Sword is rumored to be somewhere within the forest. You have no idea what you are about to get yourself into.

The level cap will increase by one with Part 1 of this saga. It will contain 27 story quests, side challenges, statted item drops, and one NPC who really... really... wants to kiss you.

You will find three factions competing in this saga. The Paladins of the Golden Onslaught, Dage's Undead Legion, and as the story unfolds.... a third, new faction which has only been mentioned in AdventureQuest 3D to date.

Inspired by the Dark Warlic adventure in the House of Oddities… a new cosmetic class for the mage has arrived in AdventureQuest 3D… the Curse Weaver Mage. Just like Alpha Pirate, this cosmetic class includes new gear and reflavored skills and skill effects for the base Mage class. Talk to Arcana, the Mage class trainer, to unlock the class gear shop and “Weaver of Curses” title. Your Curse Weaver Mage gear can be purchased with Mage Class Tokens.

Head to the Inn to team up with Yulgar once again for a cosmic quest. A fallen star was spotted in the Yokai Forest. Yulgar hopes he can salvage enough material from it to forge a new weapon for you. Of course, nothing is ever that simple. This extraterrestrial resource comes with a few surprises. If you can collect enough materials for Yulgar, he will craft you the Cosmic Cutter - a shimmering, transcendent katana with other-worldly stats. Keep an eye out, because you may also find a couple extra goodies in this adventure.

Note: This quest is a continuation of Yulgar’s “Blacksmithing” quests for Chillrend and Firebrand.



The Dragon Transformation Starter Pack has replaced the original Lore Strider Pack in the Upgrade Shop. The new Starter Pack is $4.99 and is available for up to 3 days to new players upon account creation. All existing players will also have 3 days starting from their first log-in after the Starter Pack’s release to purchase it.
