The pumpkin-spice scented fog has opened a path way to the haunted town of Mystcroft. Everybody is in for a treat. (Maybe a trick.) Head there and get into the spirit of this spook-tacular holiday.

How to get there? Use your travel menu or speak to the creepy stranger who is standing on the bridge in town.




Mystcroft offers all kinds of creepy and spooky entertainment. Door-to-door Trick-or-Treating, a haunted manor, and monsters ready to jump out at you from all sides.

Zorbak needs your help to deaden things up a little in the Raveyard. It's not entirely clear if he was trying to resurrect the skeletons to make an undead army and accidentally made them into a dance party or if the dancing has some ebil intent, but either way... the result is a bone-rattling dance party!

Plus, you can earn two different Mogloween-themed scytheblades for your trouble.




Miss out on any favorite items? You can now get previous Mogloween collection items you missed out on, such as the Headless Horseman travel form. Talk to whatever strange character happens to appear on the bridge in your home town of Battleon.

Faith is on the Battleon Bridge waiting to teach you how to fish. The new fishing system will take you all over Lore with new quests and new fishing NPCs.



Start your quests with Faith, and meet new fishing NPCs in other maps throughout the fishing quest line. Just equip a stat rod to start fishing. You can also talk to Fischer in the Battleon Social District to complete your progress on Faith's original fishing quests.

P.S. Nobody knows what the "Bush Faction Gold Card" is that drops from that secret bush in the north part of town... highly recommend holding onto one before that bush goes poof too.

We are getting super close to releasing the new fishing system. It is far more fun and rewarding than the old system, and will span our world. Fishing will also be the very first trade skill. We are aiming to begin testing this week. Read on for more.



The new fishing is crazy fun. When it goes live, all you need to do is buy a fishing pole for a few gold. Then you will be able to click on fishing spots to start fishing. The mini-game challenges you to hook the fish. Catching fish can increase your fishing skill. Raising your skill higher will give you access to better poles, quests, rewards, and more challenging places to go fishing.



The artists went all out on the fishing rods! Some are themed after the zones where you are likely to get them. Each rod has a "fishing power." This will give you an edge as you fish in more challenging areas. Rods with high stats are essential to becoming a expert fisher-hero.



The upcoming release is not just for fishing... it is a new system which will allow us to add mining, lumber-jacking, cooking, and countless other trade skills to the game. Each trade skill will allow you to harvest or create things (like fish) which can then be used to build other new things (like consumables, armor, houses, guild castles, etc). Items that you harvest with a tradeskill go into a separate tab, so they will not eat up any of your previous inventory space.

In our upcoming first release, you will be able to take your Fishing level up to 50. Then we will likely increase the cap by 5-ish each time we add a major new area with water and new fish.

Note: I left mining on the screenshot for you, but you will not see that until the NEXT trade skill release XD



In the upcoming first release, you will find fishing spots appearing across the game. Higher level areas will have higher level fish. So you should train up your skill in the earlier areas. The lowest level fishing will be right when you enter town. This is also where you will meet our fishing trainer, Faith.

Note: In order to add the water and fishing spots, Dagger had to surgically redo the geometry of a lot of maps. As a bonus, when this goes live, you may be able to walk to some places that you could not before. More maps will be updated to include fishing as we have time to add them.



This story-line just went full circle! In our very first ever Artix Entertainment calendar, Faith made her debut as the fishing NPC. Then, in AQworlds she shifted towards being a beast master. All of the animals at the secret underground lab know Faith is the best. Then... in AdventureQuest 3D, she was originally the multi-class trainer. But with the upcoming fishing release, Faith returns to her original passion of taking us all fishing. On a personal note, I have never actually gone on one of Faith & Dage's legendary fishing adventures in real-life... maybe if they could create some poles like the ones we will be using in game? XD

Fishing is getting ready for testing on the PTR testing server as I write this. It should be up by Friday night.... making the live release as soon as we fix all of the issues found in testing.

World famous treasure hunter, Valencia, wants you to explore a hidden tomb with her. She says she'll split the treasure with you 50/50. Who knows what's in there...

Hop in game and talk to Valencia in town, or simply click on your Adventure Menu, to travel to the hidden tomb! This special preview area of the Sandsea Desert is an extended version of our daily bosses. It has a short story, treasures, and a few interesting secrets for players level 15 to 30.





Seems you're not the only one to discover this tomb. A group of Sobekian Tomb Raiders are already trying to fight their way inside the tomb. These half-croc warriors are not exactly known for "sharing." They do have a chance of dropping their weapons.

The village of DragonWatch is under attack! Creatures from the Void... known as the Voidrakar... are obliterating everything in their path. This gives you, a hero returning from the land of the dead, an opportunity for payback against Vane, the Void King. I mean, that guy did throw you half way across the continent. Be careful though, this was no random attack... the Voidrakar are there for a reason!

The village of DragonWatch is guarding a secret... the fact that this town is literally named "DRAGON WATCH" might be a clue. The Guardians are holding off the monsters to give the villagers time to escape. But they need your help.





If you are just joining us now, and were not here for the world events when the Void King burned our town to the ground, this release is for you. It tells the missing story between the game's intro and when you finally arrive in our home town. This main storyline release will introduce the creatures of the void, and the one responsible for creating Vane's minions. Also, DragonWatch is an extended tutorial for new players. Which makes sense, because this is where new players will land after Vane throws them.




Empire? Legion? Horde? No... the best way to define the horrifying creatures of the Voidrakar, is with the word "Host". These creatures do not kill you, they hollow you. It is the only fate worse than death. The negative space that you leave behind becomes filled with the will of the void. And they will not stop. Not until everything that you know, love, and treasure... becomes nothing.




Some would argue that alchemy requires equivalent exchange. Heh. Skarn says, "Hold my philsopher's stone". He is the Void King's alchemist and a true believer in his cause. He creates his monsters using the power of the void. You may be scratching your head, "Isn't the Void... nothing?" Yes, Skarn literally creates these monsters... from NOTHING.

AdventureQuest 3D allows you to collect classes and switch between them at any time. Are you raiding a dungeon and need heals? Switch to Paladin or Guardian. This gives you the power to change how you and your group play on the fly. And just playing as a class automatically earns experience for it.... which will rank it up! In fact, you will unlock skills, passive abilities, an ULTIMATE, and even a cross skill just by reaching rank 10! Now you can continue ranking up to 100 unlocking new rewards...




You can become legendary in your class by ranking it all the way up to 100! It happens passively as you battle, the longer you play a class. It is not meant to be done in a single burst of play. It is intended to reward you over a long period of time as you play your favorite class. Along the way, you will unlock pieces of the new legendary class armors and weapons, and unlock the "Legendary" badge for that class once you hit rank 100!




Our artists created a legendary version of EVERY class armor in the game. If you see someone with these items equipped... they are the real deal. You can see which items you unlocked in your class menu, and you can pick up the items on your class trainer.




These ranks are the solution to the common request of wanting some progression in between releases and level cap raises. There is no more wasting experience when you have reached the current level cap. If you are a long time player at the current level cap too, it feels really good to progression like this again.

• All Classes now rank up to 100
  
• You now get bonus rewards for playing your favorite class over a long period of time (this happens passively as you battle, no quests needed)
  
• Class tokens are awarded at each rank
  
• Legendary Armor Pieces unlock every 5 ranks (from ranks 15 to 50)
  
• Legendary Class Title unlocks at 100 (Super long time to get!)
  
• Legendary Badge unlocks at 100 (Did we mention this takes a super long time to get?)
