Devourers are a high tier creation of Dage. They are ancient and have seen many battles with the Fiends of the Underworld... and the mortals of the Overworld.

The monsters and map used in this special event are actually from a future release. A really smart idea to have this and all future battle concerts in areas that we are building for the main storyline-- so nothing is wasted. These are "Pulsarian's Witness" and "Eclipsion's Watcher". Use your Heavy Metal Medallions to craft these pieces on that little green sneevil, Bryce Platinum, who is standing in town by the inn.


I love how this item drop from the concert turns your arm and hand into a skeleton. It drops from Aganon the giant undead boss and is available now from the Breaking Benjamin battle concert.

The legendary band, Breaking Benjamin, is performing in AdventureQuest 3D & AdventureQuest Worlds right now! Join us for an otherworldly video game concert on monster infested islands floating in the cosmic void.



This will be the 1st battle concert in AdventureQuest 3D to feature parkour, portals, and titan fights. Like our previous battle concerts, this event was created for gamers of all skill levels to enjoy. It is OK if you just want to go watch, too.


Breaking Benjamin is a multi-platinum rock band with nine #1 hit songs. Some of our favorites include The Dairy of Jane, I Will Not Bow, Angel's Fall, and Torn in Two. They just released a new album called Aurora. It's a collection of their biggest and most popular songs... and one new song called "Far Away" featuring Scooter Ward of the band Cold. We converted the band members into video game characters and placed their stage on monster-filled floating islands. Explore this strange new concert venue with parkour and portals.

Previous battle concerts had a single boss monster, but this one has TWO massive Titan Bosses. Your actions during the show will determine if one of them becomes the final boss. It will take a little strategy and team work. Each Titan drops different rewards.


The monsters in this event are a sneak-preview... you will be seeing them again in AdventureQuest 3D's main storyline.


The concert promoter, Bryce Platinum, has brand new quests for everyone to complete during this show. (Are you a VIP from a previous show? You can find all of your quests on him too!)


During a battle concert, you stand back to back as you fight the monsters swarming the pit. But this time... you have some options. There are tons of floating rocks. You can jump around them and explore. Some things you discover may help you guarantee the titan of your choice becomes the final Boss.



Yes. Really. We hope this is the most unique and rewarding Battle Concert yet. Travel in Lore will become much more intuitive for new players. Maybe for you too. The portal is "activated" by running into it, of course. It was surprising how many people just did not want to touch that blue crystal. But EVERYONE wants to walk into a portal. So that's what you do now.

Every couple of seconds, the image in the portal changes to one of a new location... Darkovia, Ashfall, Frostvale, Doomwood, etc.

In this release, the portal will bring up the menu that lets you travel. We are in the middle of expanding it to let you access the main story (and show you your progress), and also access challenges, side adventures, special and holiday events including next week's Breaking Benjamin battle concert! (You may remember us talking about this in the previous post titled: new World Story and Book of Lore menu)

Happy Lunar New Year from your favorite Anime-style MMORPG made in... Florida, USA! XD

The official Lunar New Year is begins this Saturday, but why wait to get festive? Head to town and get items from Saber's Lunar New Year shop. There are items for gold, for Guardians, and an adorable pet mouse companion.




Props to AdventureQuest 3D's newest modeler/artist Winnie for these Lunar New Year sets! Let her know in the comments section if you love them. They are available for about 8,888 gold in town now. You will notice all of the prices contain 8's. Because 8 is a SUPER LUCKY number in Chinese. Mostly because it sounds like 發 (fa) which means wealth, prospering, and fortune. For the record, I am 100% down for any and all cultural-wide puns.

Cheongsam (For Girls)

Beautiful! A cheongsam is a sleek, close-fitting Chinese dress. This dress was probably not intended to be worn in combat against dragons and monsters...

Changshan (For Boys)

A changshan is a traditional Chinese long tunic worn by men. But if you buy the wrong one and wear it, no one will care. We're all open minded friends in this game community.



There are two versions!  A Lucky Red Dragon Cloak for 8,888 gold. There is also a Lucky Guardian cape for 1,000 gold.




In Chinese astrology, each year is represented by an animal. The Rat is the very first one on the Zodiac. It represents being kind, generous, and super diligent.

"But... it's the year of the Rat. Why is the pet a MOUSE!?"

Hah. The Chinese the word 老鼠 (Rat) can mean either Rat or Mouse. So we went with the mouse for maximum adorableness. We also made Dage the Evil make it. Because someone as dark and evil as him making something this cute is maximum comedy! 




Beserker is a brutal tier 2 class that everyone can earn right now. Head to the class trainers in town to get started. You will notice that you can earn classes faster now... especially if you are (or become) a Guardian.
