The story left off with you finding out that the Blade of the Deep needs a powerful fire crystal from the fire elemental Kagu-Tsuchi.

He won't give it to you until his father's sword is returned to him.

Yuki Jin thinks she knows who stole it...



Daitengu, a yokai who lives in the forest, has been rumored to have a powerful new weapon.

You must find Daitengu, fight him for Kagu-Tsuchi's stolen sword, and return it in exchange for the crystal.




Use the crystal from Kagu-Tsuchi to fuel the submarine and begin the search for the 2nd piece of the trident.


The trident piece is in a sunken pirate ship, the Vengeance.

You must search it while fending off the pirate ghosts who went down with their ship.

I hope you can breathe underwater.




The Vengeance was destroyed by the Great Sea Dragon, Ryujin, who guards this piece of the trident.

He won't know you're poking around down there... right?


Fisn created a hidden quest with a secret reward.

You'll have to read between the lines to find the pieces of this puzzle.

Work together as a community and you'll have no trouble.

None of the quest items are rare drops.




Challenge versions of the Tengu and Ryujin story points will be released in the coming updates.

The ALICE IN CHAINS Battle Concert is happening now! It's pretty hard to miss it in game! Just hop on AdventureQuest 3D and hit the button in the the news, or talk to an Alice in Chains promoter in town, or use the travel crystal. New players should do the short tutorial first.



The stage monster is the Ghost of Unsung Songs. During the concert she summons monsters into the pit and creates havoc. Defeat her to receive a giant treasure chest.



The ALICE IN CHAINS Battle Concert is a limited time event. The show itself will repeat non-stop with a brief intermission in between each set. Which means you can experience it with players from all over the world on your schedule. But you only have three weeks to do so. Once it's gone... it's gone forever.



The battle concert and quests are free for everyone to enjoy. If you want to show your support for the band and games, you can buy the ALICE IN CHAINS item collection in game which includes exclusive band armors, musical items, pets, weapons, travel forms, rare badges, and a backstage pass.


Head there and take a virtual selfie with the virtual band. The little green Sneevil is Bryce Platinum. He has a ton of bonus quests.



Here are a few tips for the event. There are quests that everyone can get in the lobby. Click/tap on non-player characters to talk to them. Be sure to loot the items that monsters drop during the concert. You can click on the bags that the monsters drop (PC/Mac users can hit "F") to loot. Also, there is a tiny chance each show that THRASH, the original stage monster might appear part way through the show.



Because AdventureQuest 3D is a True Cross-Platform game, you can play this event with your friends no matter what device they login from. We all play on the same world. Just have them grab the game and join you.

Zorbak has arrived just in time for Mogloween and converted a local graveyard into a Raveyard.





It's not entirely clear if he was trying to resurrect the skeletons to make an undead army and accidentally made them into a dance party or if the dancing has some ebil intent, but either way... the result is a bone-rattling dance party!




We resurrected one of Warlic's masterpieces for the skeleton rave party... the track is called "Ticklish Zorbo"-- Zorbak's official dance party theme song.

Talk to Zorbak... he's the blue Moglin in the Raveyard. He'll tell you have to craft two new Mogloween themed items...




Gourdites are undead pumpkin spirits that seek to possess a body and feast on the candy collected by living creatures on Mogloween night.

The Tree-Jay monster drops some less common crafting materials. Real talk time... I wanted to go with "Tree-J Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince of Darkness" but I got veto'd on account of it being too long, and no one knowing what the heck that joke was even referring to O_o. Unless you do. In which case, just go ahead and give yourself 9,000 Will Smith points.




These are SEASONAL RARES so if you don't manage to craft them this year, you'll have another chance... next year.

The October fog opens a pathway to the haunted town of Mystcroft!



As per tradition, the previous Mogloween areas return this week, and will be expanded next week with an all new Mogloween adventure. Have you seen the mad scientist concept art yet?




Ghosts, goblins, skeletons, pumpkinlords, and a haunted manor await you.




We updated the Mogloween maps with the new 3D sound FX. I would say they sound much more lively. But since most everything in there is undead, I will remind less seasoned heroes to bring an extra set of underpants.

We've joked for years about our gag food pyramid above. But if you're feeling like you've been hit by a debuff and want to min/max your real-life character stats, here is a strategy guide:

1. Drink more water.
Coffee & energy drinks won't work unless enough water is already in you. Water is like a buff for your buffs.

2. Eat more green stuff.
Veggies, not the moldy thing you unearthed in the back of the fridge.

3. Stretch
Google-fu some routines. The benefits of a 15 minute stretch with proper breathing can rival some gym workouts.

If you are not already doing them, these 3 little actions can buff any gamer's drive, focus, and reflexes. At least that is what Glisel tells me every time she reminds me to drink more water. >_> And if I have to do it... you should too! Join me O_O

When you go to Camp Gonnagetcha, there will be a war meter at the top of the screen. Pick a team. Then battle monsters and complete quests to fill your team's water meter up first! Also, as your war meter fills up, new rewards will be unlocked. The first team to hit 100% wins. The winning team will earn honor, glory, and all player's will be able to pick up a rare back flag with their logo.

You can find both wedding sets in the social district. The sets in AdventureQuest 3D were created by Dage before he left and matched their real-life ones closely. (Well, the suit does... he was not allowed to see her wedding dress of course!)
