We have just expanded the island!




Passing ships have become a problem for the Isle of the Dead. The Mistress of the Tower of Necromancy has commanded apprentice necromancer, Sacrum Deadsea, to come up with a solution for the problem. Help him build his beacon and he has a nice new item to give you as a reward!



New Exploration Badges & Titles

Three brand new exploration badges have been added to the Isle of the Dead. Search high and low until you discover all three and claim the titles for yourself!

Journey to the Isle of the Dead to begin your training as a Necromancer, and create the key (now upgradable to level 25) that will unlock the Tower of Necromancy in the next major release.



A selection of April Fools seasonal rares will be returning on Monday
Monday is April 1st. So I am writing to tell you, with 100% certainty, that we will not have any jokes or pranks. You're just too smart for it. You caught us two years ago when we said toddlers got into our server room replacing all of our in-game art with crayon. Or that time we turned every character in the game into a stick figure to "save on bandwidth costs". We get it. Your on to us. So nope... not gonna do anything Monday.



For the past two weeks, everyone's favorite "Mad Weapon Smith" has been experimenting with an unstable crafting material called Mutatium. Gaz sold it to him. It keeps randomly shifting and changing its form. He thought it might be easier to work with if he reduced it into Mutatium dust.



Behind the scenes, this was a huge week for AdventureQuest 3D. We are currently in early access, but have been laying out the new game plan which will take us to 100% live. Be sure to check out the official www.AQ3D.com and read the daily design notes we have been writing you. On the last design notes, Cysero sorta leaked that we had a big opportunity for AdventureQuest 3D pop up... we are going for it. Cross your fingers for it. If we pull it off, we will create the most incredible in-game experience in the history of our gaming community.

The ferryman of DoomWood will now take you to... the Isle of the Dead. A place brimming with sinister secrets that only you can uncover. Should you brave the undead there, and be judged worthy, perhaps you will gain entrance to the Tower of Necromancy.


A new cast of strange characters awaits you on the Isle of the Dead. Viscerra Vex is every Paladin's nightmare. Her gift is bottling the spirit energy of the fallen into batteries... an elegant craft of evil.


Not everyone on this island has secrets to share, however. In fact, some of them are just flat-out crazy, like Mazrak the Mad. Or... is he? I dunno, hanging out on a nearly-deserted island of the undead can do that to you.


Once upon a time, a hero sat by by the scarlet waters of the Crimson Lake. Gazing into the distance, there was a skeletal hand... reaching out as if waiting to be handed something. Something you only thought could happen to Kings in legends.


In other un-deadly news, there is still time to get this year's Dage Collection 2019 . This sinister set includes owerful weapons of chaos and destruction... should you choose to wield them.

Visit Stygis and take your first step to becoming a Master of the Undead! Learn how to make your own friends. It's sorta like a healer class for really, really, really late heroes. Sorta.


Necromancers are magic users who have mastered control over the forces of life and death. They use their dark powers drain the souls of the living and summon undead servants which obey their every command. Using souls which you harvest upon slaying foes, you can cast the following spells.

• Default Cast - A ranged attack that pulls out your foes life force feeding your soul count.
• Soul Siphon - Rip Souls from the target, dealing damage. Deals increased damage and steals Health from enemies recently attacked by summoned minions.
• Dark Decay - Inflict an enemy with necrotic Decay, dissolving the target's Armor and dealing damage over time. Decay transfers Souls to the Necromancer.
• Summon Undead - Expend Souls and summon an undead minion to attack your target. Summoned minions do not survive long.
• (ULTIMATE) Grand Summon - Tap into the true forces of necromancy, summoning a powerful creature with the ability to Taunt groups of enemies.
• (CROSS-SKILL) Bone Prison - Summon a cage of bone to hold your enemy.

A new travel form is dropping in the Arena of Souls. Talk to Vost (that guy in blue) to travel to the Underworld and begin your journey there.


You have only a short while to obtain your skull encrusted, flipped blade, Legion Soulripper. Talk to Vost. He is waiting for you to claim it.


In the distance... you can see the Tower of Necromancy. Are you curious as to what secrets wait inside? Necromancers crave the power promised there. Paladins want someone to infiltrate it. Alas... "one does not simply walk into the Tower of Necromancy." (Fewer walk out alive.) Battle on!

If you completed last year's quests you found out a lot about Dage's past-- and if your soul was worthy enough to join the legion. Now, are you ready for the challenge? Continue the story to begin your training. This is worth leveling up for.


In our previous games, Dage's quests were always designed as a challenge for very high level players who felt like they had already done everything in the game. They were incredibly grindy tests of endurance. These new quests in Dage's Arena of Souls is NO different! The reward of such efforts? The Legion Heretic armor is our very first level 25 Legendary craftable armor. The complete set is epic and wicked.


For the next 3 months, any daily chest has a chance of dropping a Lil' Dage pet.

Glad you asked! You are aiming to either take the best PvP action shots... or screenshots capturing the spirit of players working together cooperatively. We are going to take the top screenshots and do a thing with them where players can vote with their likes on which side wins. Then, the winning shots will be promoted in the post declaring once and for all which is better... PvP or PvE.

• Artix loves it when your screenshots are 1920x1080 (if possible)
• Turn off your interface (your hotkeys still work when it is off)
• Spin your camera around to get interesting angles
• Send Ninjas to kidnap HazirothGhost, Leun_rm, Autumnal_Dusk, and YvarisVaeloryan... because their screenshots are amazing and keep getting better every week O_O
