Friends, a new update for Prime World: Defenders 2 is coming up this month! We are going to introduce 3 new towers to you in it. But what will those be? Guess that! The one who will guess them right will receive one of these towers as a reward!

1. Guess which 3 default towers will obtain their league versions in the next update and write their names in the comment section. For example Glaive Thrower, Detector, Stone Tower. The whole list of already released default and league towers can be seen here.
2. Only 1 comment per participant is accepted. If you leave more entries or write more than 3 towers in your comment, your entries won’t be accepted at all. Do not worry, off-topic (non-entry) comments are more than welcome! We will gladly answer your questions about the contest if you have any.
3. In case there will be more than one participant who guesses towers correctly, the winner will be chosen randomly.
4. In case there are no correct answers at all, we will give the reward to one of those (chosen randomly) who guessed 2 towers out of 3 correctly.
5. Contest results will get available after the update is installed on our servers.

A few months ago we released Defenders 2 in Steam. And it was… Thrilling! We were pleasantly surprised that PC-gamers were so excited about it. And we are not speaking about all the thumbs up reviews you left us (by the way, thank you so much for them!). We are speaking about your activity on the forum and feedback we receive every day.

We are so glad to see how you help each other, share tips and tricks, discuss game mechanics. You are always trying to back your points of view up with facts, keeping it cool and nice. Your conversations are extremely interesting to read!

And, of course, we want to thank you for all the idea, suggestions and… criticism, too. There is nothing in this world which does not require a bit of healthy criticism :) Your feedback is helping us make Defenders 2 better. We read all your comments, so be sure that they do not remain unnoticed. By the way, some of your suggestions rise some pretty epic discussions within our dev team!


It’s true that we can’t implement all your ideas and suggestions into the game. But some features you asked us about have either already released (hotkeys, faster mouse scroll), either are going to be added to Defenders 2 soon.



We know that a huge number of players is interested in Steam Achievements. We will add ours soon!

We also understand that it is important to be able to launch the game in windowed mode (tbh, we miss it ourselves, too :D). We have not been able to make this change yet, but we are currently working on it, so don’t worry!

We’ve also received a very unexpected request from a group of players. They asked us to make paid DLCs for Steam, so that Defenders 2 do not disappear from their Libraries. Lads, who find this point important - we’ve got your back!

And yet another important element - UI. You do know that Defenders 2 was originally developed for mobile platforms, don’t you? :) We’ve already brought some alterations to the PC version of the game, so that it is more comfortable to play on this platform, but there are still some things that can be changed for good, so we will continue working on making the game better. We will refine the UI to make it more suitable for bigger screens.

And the most important part - we will need time to implement these and other ideas to Defenders 2. We receive dozens of interesting suggestions, but we need to analyze them first and think them through.

Next patch is going to be released this month, and it won’t introduce both windowed mode and achievements to the game, but we want you to know that we remember about these matters and we are working on them. And even more cool alterations are waiting for you in the nearest future!

We reached out to Santa and asked him about the most popular request from Defenders 2 players. Without thinking twice, the old man answered: "New towers!" Needless to say, after that we wanted to know if you played nice during the year. And, once again, without hesitation, the cheerful old man exclaimed: "Impeccably!" If so, we invited him to assist us with some Christmas magic, in order for a small miracle to occur. And here it is: please, welcome the new towers in Defenders 2!

That's it, with Christmas in the offing, we have prepared the new update for Prime World: Defenders 2!

Two new legendary towers - Shiny Crest and Prime-thistle - have been introduced into the game. Shiny Crest is a well-armored battle unit, which frightens the enemies and attracts their attacks. Prime-thistle is a planter with a plant that infects enemies with spores, has long-distance shooting range and deals additional damage to totems. Also, we have introduced league versions of Seismic Slammer, Fog Tower, Spirit Tower, and Whizzer. You can obtain shards of each of six new towers by getting top places in league mines or by purchasing League Booster in the shop.

Tooltips in the Steam version of the game became more informative.

The discount icon for special offers is now displayed correctly.

An error in the runes tutorial interface has been fixed.

The new update for Steam version of Prime World: Defenders 2 has been released! Below we present a complete list of new features and fixes, which will take effect once the patch is uploaded.

Hotkeys for actions in the battle, activation and revocation of the spells have been added:
Space — pause;
F — speed-up;
N — summon the next wave;
1–4 — use a spell;
RMB (right mouse button) – revoke a spell.

Mouse wheel scrolling speed has been increased.

Rating window has been added to the game.

A problem that prevented some users from unlinking the game from Facebook has been solved.
