Over the next weeks you’re going to see us roll out a few patches to clean up new issues introduced with the 1.06 update and fix critical issues that have been around for a while. We’re committed to getting these issues fixed, tested and released as soon as possible. There are other bugs in our backlog and we’ll be working on those fixes for future updates as well.
The following issues have been fixed and are being thoroughly tested at the moment. We are looking to get a patch out early next week.
Players crashing on "Lowest" Settings when opening maps.
Odd Dynamic Shadow Behavior and flickering when many Players are nearby
Crash produced by blowing up Players with Bushranger
Crashes on Launch
Crash on map travel
Arty Attacks Break After Team Swap
Teamkills no longer show up on kill feed for killer
Spawn Tunnel Exploit
Smoke behaving differently for different players, and disappearing all at once for some
Server setting for delayed kill feed does not work.
Dead Players are being kicked for Idling when Reinforcements are out
Commander Abilities - Incorrect ability used on incorrect SL mark in certain situations.
All connected players in server kicked into server queue after map travel.
Clearing Arty marks by aiming at sky from Loach breaks strike location
When tickets have run out, TE and SU maps play wrong announcer track
Squad Leaders lower than level 15 keep position when higher level players enter
Server Queue adds phantom players
Helicopters attempting to land slide or slip across ground
Other issues we are continuing to work on include:
Players can be suppressed by bullets passing by, on the other side of barriers
Server queue: admin-reserved slots no longer allows members in properly
Instanced Rendering related Character flickering
Next week we will talk about the ARVN update, new weapons and new features. Until then, its rigorous bug fixing and testing for the development team!

We are rolling back hotfix 1.06.2. Something went wrong in our build process and code that was not supposed to be in 1.06.2 was introduced, returning a bug that was fixed in 1.06.1. As of this time we are pulling the update and rolling clients and servers back to 1.06.1 while we investigate what has happened.

As of this time we are pulling the update and rolling clients and servers back to 1.06.1 while we investigate what has happened.
As you have most likely noticed by now, we have released update 1.06 (and the first hotfix 1.06.1) addressing many community requests and issues! However, due to the large nature of this update a few things are shaking loose. We are investigating these as you report them or we notice them ourselves so please keep an eye out for us asking for additional information as we dive into your reports!
A few key items we are aware of and investigating/working on include:
Several settings not saving or behaving as intended on some servers. Where we can, we’re working directly with the server hosts to figure these out.
Shadows flickering for some clients (If you currently have this issue, turning your shadow settings to low is a workaround you can use while we continue to look into this). We have a potential repro for this now and are working on that.
Additional stability issues: we’ve been working through crashes, prioritizing those most visible in Bugsplat and/or causing individuals the most issues (like not being able to play). We’ve cleared the most heinous, but had to roll one back (hence the 1.06.1 hotfix). PLEASE send in Bugsplat reports for any other issues you’re having, so we can see what is left and prioritize appropriately.
And we are reading your overall feedback from the update as well as we make plans towards the next big content set, so keep it coming! And if you want to check out the updated Skirmish, you can join the community team tonight as part of the Tripwire Community Game Night!
