The anniversary update brings with it a few major changes that will affect the way adventures are completed. They are the Invasion Atlas and an updated Nightmare difficulty. Today we will tell you more about these changes.


 
When the Phytonide invasion begins, Flavius's Laboratory will be removed from the game, and players will get access to a new system of character development – the Invasion Atlas. The atlas is different for every invasion. It changes from season to season, and players can pick a new development path every time. The atlas has more than a hundred nodes, and it depends on you which path you will take and which bonuses will be unlocked first. Some nodes will strengthen certain classes, others will replace the bonuses of Flavius's Laboratory. You can decide what's more important to you – increased damage to enemies from the invasion army or boosting some of your classes. Or perhaps upgrading your companion or receiving some Might.


 
Fulfilling directives and completing operations will earn you a special currency that can be used to unlock atlas nodes. The cost depends on the bonus – some are cheaper, others are more expensive. Plan your development and think ahead. The atlas has no limitations – with a bit of effort, it should be possible to fully develop it and unlock all its bonuses over the course of an invasion. Operations at Nightmare difficulty are the best source of the new currency...


It's time to talk about another new feature. The anniversary update will include changes to the difficulty system. "Nightmare" will have several levels, and each will be more difficult than the last. Are you interested? We'll share more details with you.


After installing the update, logging in, and selecting a group adventure, players will see two main modes: warm-up and trial (depending on the adventure type, character's rank, and schedule, of course).

To access the Nightmare difficulty, players will need to prove their skill by completing a trial. If they succeed, each character in the group will receive a special key that unlocks the first level of the Nightmare difficulty for one of the adventures depending on the current schedule. You can have up to two keys – one for a Squad adventure, the other for a Group one. Every night, these adventures change according to the server schedule, which makes it easier to find a group. After completing the first level of Nightmare, all characters in the group receive new keys that unlock the second level.

A player that has a key to the Nightmare difficulty can invite other players to their group regardless of their level and whether they have a key or not. If they succeed, all characters in the group get a key, its level matching the Nightmare level +1.

The higher the Nightmare level, the harder the adventure will be. Every day, adventures will have different modifiers that add variety and make them more challenging. Enemies will get extra bonuses or have their mechanics slightly changed, and players will have to switch tactics and look for ways to take them down. For example, one of the modifiers forbids using divine form, but the bosses will drop sparks that allow you to activate it for a short time. Other modifier grants certain enemies an aura that increases the health and damage of their allies. Another modifier multiplies the threat generated by one of the immortals and increases damage dealt to them. Each modifier will impact the tactics and play style of players, forcing them to make an effort if they want to access the next level of Nightmare.


After the update, Nightmare difficulty will be disabled for Party adventures. It will remain the same for the other types. But we have changed certain adventures from Squad to Group. Thais Temple, Lanber Catacombs, Factorium, Saffire Air Dockyard, Donholk Glacier, Port Usuni, Phoreus Test Area, Thetin Rift, and Darnic Village have become more difficult. It adds variety to the game and allows players to get equipment in group adventures. Each equipment piece can now be obtained in two Group adventures.

Operations should be completed on Nightmare difficulty – the higher the difficulty, the more operation points you can earn. And the higher the chance to win and receive a great reward.

Updated Nightmares and Invasion Atlas are connected. These changes are meant to add more variety to the game. When completing adventures on Nightmare difficulty, you will earn currency for unlocking atlas nodes. Unlocking atlas nodes will make completing these adventures much easier.

Hey Immortals! Things have been a bit crazy these past few weeks, as lives all across the world have been greatly affected by the ongoing pandemic. For now, one of the best things you can do to help yourself and others stay safe is to simply stay at home. Thanks to the world of online gaming, this does not have to prevent us from enjoying our adventures together! We may play at home, but we stand united!

The upcoming Fifth Anniversary Expansion is just around the corner, and with it comes the inclusion of Nightmare+ Challenges. An unrivaled level of difficulty and peril for group adventures, where even the most seasoned of veterans will be tested. More than ever, you will need to look to your fellow Immortals to help you through these trials. In order to prepare for what’s to come, now is the time to make our final stand against the Reapers.


The Reapers have retreated to their flagships but won’t hesitate to deal all the damage they can before leaving Aelion’s orbit. We need you to unite your strike force, infiltrate their flagships, and take them down from the inside. Remember, time is of the utmost importance. We must stop them from attempting these last-ditch attacks. Immortals who accomplish this mission in record time will be rewarded with a new legendary weapon from the upcoming Fifth Anniversary Expansion!


The mission is simple: Complete the Flagship of the Reapers of Death (Warm-Up) Adventure as quickly as possible.

Once you have accomplished the adventure, one of your team will be required to report your victory for evaluation via the relevant Discord server.

The event will run until the end of the Reaper invasion, then the fastest team from each region (PC - NA, PC - EU, PC- RU, PS4 - NA, PS4 - EU, Xbox will be selected as our champions, resulting in 6 winning teams.


 

• The adventure must be completed with an S Ranking.
• To be eligible for the reward, a member of your team must submit your fastest completion time to the boatload_of_trouble channel of the relevant Discord server, along with your in-game names and region.
• The submission must be in the format of an unedited screenshot clearly displaying mission time and overall results, or a publically uploaded video of the mission run.
• If you manage to achieve a quicker completion time than an earlier submission, you may delete the earlier submission and resubmit your new score.
• If multiple teams submit the same completion time, the earliest submission will take precedence.

 

The 5 members of each of the winning teams will be rewarded with one of the brand new legendary weapons from the upcoming Fifth Anniversary Expansion!

No doubt, these weapons will help as you battle your way through the overwhelming odds of the Nightmare+ Challenges!

We recently announced that the Fifth Anniversary expansion for Skyforge was set for release on March 25. We are sad to announce that this is no longer the case, and this update will now be released on April 8 for PC, and on April 9 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

MY.GAMES and Allods Team employees very recently started working from home after acting on local governmental advice in our teams’ respective regions. This decision was made to protect the health and well-being of our employees, their families, and the public as a whole. Unfortunately, this had an impact on the Skyforge development process, and we now need a little more time to develop, polish, and deliver the Fifth Anniversary expansion. We are confident that we can unite every Immortal for a true celebration of Skyforge on April 8 and 9.

In the meantime, we’re running some amazing events to help bring a little light to the darkness during these challenging times. It's time to wear green, dye your hair red, and dust off your top hats – St. Patrick's Special is starting on Aelion! Join us for a good time and great rewards. Now you can collect Ether Clovers, and something unusual awaits you in adventures.


For the duration of the event, all plant sources of Rare Crystallite turn into Magic Clovers. When collecting this resource, you will receive some Ether Clovers, and if you are lucky, you may receive an Amulet of Luck – a special four-leaf clover.

Activate it in Squad adventures, and the amulet will grant the character a Blessing of Luck – a random effect that will be active until the end of the adventure (if you stay alive, of course). It can be a health bonus or increased damage; faster accumulation of divine weapons or a faster recharge of your ultimate ability. But remember – you can't accumulate luck. You can have only one Amulet in your bag, and once the event is over, it will disappear.

There are other ways of getting the Amulet aside from collecting Clovers. If you like fighting – go on any adventure, kill enemies, and when you defeat the last boss, you will have a chance to receive a four-leaf clover.

Look for Amulets of Luck, go on Squad adventures, and you may encounter the Green Dancer.



They say you may encounter mysterious green dancers on Aelion during St. Patrick's Special. According to legend, if you find one, you will receive a reward! But only the luckiest immortals will find them. Use your four-leaf clover in a Squad adventure to activate a Blessing of Luck – it will help you see the mysterious dancer. If you find them, you will be rewarded.

Every day, immortals will receive an additional quest that requires you to find the dancers. You will be rewarded with green coins for completing the first three quests, and the rest will earn you a large amount of Ether Clovers. Keep in mind that you can't accumulate these quests, so you will not be able to complete them all on the last day of the event.


Once you have enough Ether Clovers, you can exchange it for costumes, transports, and new emotes. Among the new additions are the Bottoms Up! emote, Green halo variations, and finally the Green themed Biker and Rider costumes!



Don't forget to check the challenge section! During the event, you can complete several new challenges and earn a new portrait center.

And of course, you can exchange the green coins received for completing daily quests for useful items. Talk to the mysterious merchant in the Aelion park. The Legendary Weapon Capsule now contains 3 new legendary weapons: Khella, Kiss of Death (Soundweaver), Sigil, Master of Suffering (Grovewalker), and Abyss, Crucible of Chaos (Firestarter).

The St. Patrick's Day Event begins March 13 and ends March 18. With only 5 days available to grab as many of these goodies as possible, luck benefits the swift.

Every year, we commemorate the bonds that unite Aelion and protect this world from the threat of invasion. Aelion gives thanks to its divine guardians with new missions across three weeks, and five exclusive Anniversary costumes to earn!



Spring is in bloom, and so are the Phytonides! These green-fingered goons are readying a new invasion of Aelion, and we need Immortals to get to the root of the problem. Cut down the Phytonides and the Avatar Machavann to earn incredible rewards from a new Invasion Pass, including the Divine Form Wakan.

The Skyforge Fifth Anniversary expansion will be available as a free update. It’s launching for PC on March 25, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One update following on March 26.

You have fought bravely, but the enemy forces dug in deep. Thanatos's army continues its advance on Aelion. Our scouts report that the god of death is not about to recall his forces - the invasion will last longer than usual.

Aelion's brightest minds are working on something special. Their project is kept secret for now, but soon we will learn more. We also expect new data on when the current invasion will end.

Use this time wisely! Try to complete as many seasonal challenges as you can to collect all rewards. Fight the champion incarnation of Thanatos, and if you haven't unlocked all specializations in the Temple of Deeds yet, you can get up to six trophies from the training version of the avatar!
