Battle Royale has been added to Skyforge. We decided to join the global flashmob of game developers and added this PvP mode to the game!

Battle Royale will be a separate mode that you can enter and play even if you don’t have a character in the main game.


You are no longer gods.

Ordinary mortals enter a computer simulation to test themselves and win the favor of gods. They are about to face their most dangerous enemies: other people who want the same.



Class abilities do not work here, but there are 12 heroes with unique skills. They can deploy turrets, detect enemies, and even become invisible. Many surprises await players in the area, some of them pleasant, some not so much. Objective of the first half of the match: find as much gear and gadgets as you can.


Battle Royale arsenal includes: armor and three types of weapons - bullet-based, explosive, and plasma weapons. You can also carry medicaments, grenades, various traps, devices and gadgets. Use them to drive your opponents crazy: lure them into a psychic energy field or turn into a plant.


Aside from other players, you may encounter various monsters in the simulation - they guard treasure chests.


But Battle Royale wouldn’t be what it is unless the game area got smaller from time to time. Night will fall, and not many will live through it. If players end up outside the game area, they will take damage until they die. The match will be over for them. The rest will clash in battle.



All players have access to 3 heroes at the start. For each match, you receive credits (that go directly to your character’s account in Skyforge, if you have one) and Battle Royale currency as a reward. You can use BR currency to rent new heroes. A hero rented 5 times becomes yours forever.

• Added Sparks of Transformation to rewards for Battle of Golems and Massive Battles.
• You can no longer activate your divine form while playing a musical instrument. You must stop playing it first.
• Fixed the issue in the Heavy Hydra Executioner adventure where you could lose Faith during the boss fight if you had the Transcendence ability
• Fixed the issue where the camera could zoom out too far after teleportation.
• Fixed zooming out on the map.
• Fixed the issue where after using Rise from the Dead you could avoid death by switching classes.

• Morodea, Focus of Power - in rating PvP, reduced the bonus damage gained for every point of Necrotic Energy spent on turning into Lich.

• At the end of each round, the Necromancer’s Shadow of the Past effect is removed.

• Fixed the issue where characters’ stats included bonuses to health and damage provided by divine temples. All classes now have the standard number of stats.
• Defense classes have their Damage Bonus reduced but their Health Bonus increased.
• Mages and Outlaws have their Health Bonus reduced.
• Chat members are now displayed correctly after teleportation
• Teleporting to another map sets the Alchemist’s and Necromancer’s energy to zero. These classes must start a new fight with 0 energy.

Creates a temporary return point. Can instantly return to it, losing all their equipment.


Item generator

Creates a random item nearby.

• During Happy Hours, the adventures will appear in the list of adventures in the World tab.
• The chance to get Sparks of Morale from the Battle Reward has been increased. The Battle Reward chest will now always give either 2 pieces of equipment and a Spark of Morale or equipment and crafting reagents.

• Happy Hours on the weekend will now include all scaled modes! Please check the modes in-game on the weekend to see which are in Happy Hours!

• Operation tokens have been removed from the list of possible rewards from PVP adventures. Unfortunately, now it is impossible to give out operation tokens for PVP adventures while the PVP adventures are not listed in the operations. We do not feel it's necessary to have operations in PVP and future changes will reflect this.
• AFK detection was improved to more accurately remove inactive players from PVP matches.
• When opening the PVP interface, you will now go to the "Ratings" interface first instead of the "Matches" interface.

• You can no longer use the mount in the Small battles
• Fixed an issue with the flower active ability "Pollination" not functioning correctly.
• Fixed an issue where your Pantheon would not display in the PVP ladder.

• Increased the discount for the first 4 levels of the "Threat from the Depth" from the hall of trophies to -50% during sales.
• *Fixed the description for some hall of trophies cards. Added information about the faith cost of abilities that are bought from the hall of trophies and adjusted some of the phrasing on several hall of trophies cards.

• In the lich form, the damage dealt is now increased by 45% and the damage taken is reduced by 45%. Hitting an enemy with the "Reaper's Sweep" ability briefly reduces the damage taken by an additional 45%, this ability is only available in PVP.
• At the beginning of each PVP-round, the necromancer's assistants will de-spawn.

• Touch of Life now heals for half the amount that it heals for in PVE while in PVP combat. Metamorphosis now increases the health of the Grovewalker by 100% down from 140 % in PVP. Metamorphosis now increases the health of the Grovewalker by 150% up from 140% in PVE.
• Fixed a bug that caused the Grovewalker to resurrect with full resources.
• At the beginning of each PVP-round, the phyto-form and shield are removed from the Grovewalker, and their resources are reset to zero.

The time has come for a new era in Aelion, the Overgrowth update has arrived and with it the new Grovewalker class.

The Grovewalkers are born protectors. They derive their power from nature itself, easily calling on its forces. Powerful roots twine around enemies, and seeds dropped into the soil grow into carnivorous plants. The Grovewalkers easily change their own body.
Their phytoform is extremely powerful and tenacious, allowing the Grovewalker to feel comfortable even in the heat of battle, knocking enemies away with sweeping strikes, and their ether form lets them shake off control effects.

Challenge System


Achieved great things in Skyforge? Everyone will know about them! If you have conquered lots of in-game summits, some of the challenges will already be done. Others will have to be completed. Show off your achievements with special titles and compare your challenge points with your friends!

New difficulty levels


Sometimes, a hard adventure is not hard enough. So the next best thing is a nightmare! Challenge yourself and your pantheon companions in this new difficulty setting. Read all details about it here.

• The Grovewalker class has been unlocked for pre-orders and owners of the Overgrowth collectors edition. Read more about the class here.
• The Aelion Day event has begun.
• New difficulty levels have been unlocked for characters with the divine form. Read more about the difficulty levels here.
• The penalty on the reward for rank difference between a monster and a character has been removed.
• You can now complete challenges in the new Challenge System. Note! All characters located in Ontes Valley at the time of the update will need to re-enter the location to receive the correct amount of ether for Provoker and God of Provocation challenges.

• Every directive will now give you quests on Thea, the Antean Wasteland, or the invaded region. Weekly quests are now replaced by daily local quests in directives.
• The reward for weekly quests is now given in the directives.
• The directives now have two new types of quests: Special Squad and Special Group. They require a group of random allies.
• Reality Rift and other similar quests have been removed from the directives.

• Added in-game titles:
• Founder. Available to the Early Access Pack buyers.
• Elder God. Available to characters who unlocked higher divinity.
• Enter the Style Room to activate your title.

• Fixed the issue that caused the legendary ring Unity of Aspects to increase the critical strike chance by 1.5% max.
• Fixed the issue that prevented characters to obtain more than one jewelry aspect during the same season of invasion.
• Now jewelry aspects' duplicates can be received only after collecting all 4 jewelry aspects.

• Fixed the issue that caused the Trilia Flower to change its color upon dismounting.
• Fixed the issue that caused the Goliath to change its color upon self-destruction.

• Fixed the issue that caused the knee pads of male costume "Reapers of Death Terror Armor" to increase in size.
• Sage Headwear is now displayed correctly.
• Sleeves of the Wedding Dress are now displayed correctly.

• Fixed the animation of male characters using the Experimental Transport while out of combat.
• Fixed the animations of Kinetic's movements.

• The Spear Attack doesn't activate companion's attack.

• Fixed the issue when a low-level equipment was rewarded for destroying bosses in the invaded regions.

• Fixed the issue when the Frost Shackles failed to freeze characters in the Hostile Territories.

• Now symbols and abilities descriptions ("Symbols" page) contain instructions how to gain access to this symbol or ability. Available for locked symbols and abilities only.
• For the bloodthirsty ones. Now the color of enemies' body parts that are splashed after the Berserker's finishing strike is used depends on their blood color.
• Hyper Engine artifact's icon in the Style Room has been corrected.
• Players will receive the correct bonus loot from Operation Ophelia
