Primal Dawn has been released! Our players are now cracking open packs, playing tournaments and exploring all the new cards that are a part of this set.

A couple of quick updates for you:

Gameforge and Hex Entertainment have listened to your feedback and granted additional platinum to players who purchased via Steam on the old prices. The platinum was sent out during the Primal Dawn update downtime. We feel that it is the right thing to do and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Secondly, to celebrate the release of Primal Dawn, we have also given each existing account a free Evolution Sealed Gauntlet ticket. This is a new tournament format for the budget-minded player and we want to make sure that players are able to enjoy competitive PvP tournaments regardless of their spending patterns.

Finally, we have just deplayed a fix for the in-game mail system, so you should no longer be plagued by lag when opening messages.

The fourth card set for HEX: Shards of Fate is now available in-game, bringing over 300 new cards, Champions and Equipment into the world of Entrath.

Having launched on Steam just last week, the next huge milestone is here: during today’s maintenance, we have published the long-awaited “Primal Dawn” expansion. In case you’ve miraculously not heard anything at all about the fourth card set, here’s the low down:

• Over 250 collectible cards
  
• 6 new Champions
  
• New keyword “Empower”
  
• New tournament format “Evolution Sealed Gauntlet”
  
• More “Constant” cards than you could ever imagine…

In celebration of the new, exciting tournament format, we are giving every player who logged in within in the last 30 days a free entry ticket to the new queue!

(Expect some tweaks and additions as the day progresses)

• Primal Dawn, the fourth set of HEX: Shards of Fate, is now available
  
• New Keyword “Empower” lets you choose how powerful a card can be
  
• Six new champions have been added for Primal Dawn
  
• Gain new equipment, mercenaries, sleeves, and cards from opening chests
  
• May Kismet be with you as you roll Primal Dawn chests in the Wheels of Fate
  
• Evolving Gauntlet tournament format is now available

• There is now a link on the login screen to reset your password
  
• In-Game browser now works correctly with in-game messaging
  
• The “new” flag is no longer displayed during a traditional limited tournament

• Ties now resolve correctly
  
• If players have different health totals the player with the highest total wins
  
• If both players have the same health total the player who’s turn it is wins
  
• Activated and triggered powers of cards now dynamically display while on the chain
  
• Passing priority with F10 after playing a card with a reveal window now works correctly
  
• The AI no longer hangs when activating Storm Colossus’s equipment during the Eldritch Dreamer battle in the Frost Ring Arena

To do this, we will need a server maintenance with the following schedule:

11:00 PDT (8:00 CEST) – Lock tournament server
03:00 PDT (12:00 CEST) – Bring down servers and begin the update
07:00 PDT (16:00 CEST) – Estimated time to open up

We will keep the community informed with all the latest news as we update the servers.

In addition, once the game has been brought down Infam0usne0 will be doing a special live stream where you will get to see a preview of the new cards, and hear all the latest news on our update progress.
