Magnus the Kingpin and Bonus Flux Weekend (Nov. 10 - 12)

Magnus the Kingpin is the latest and greatest Frontline Freelancer to arrive in Atlas Reactor! As the leader of the Evolution Solutions (EvoS) Trust, Magnus rules with an iron fist. Like a boss, Magnus packs a punch with his Power Drive primary ability that increases in size each turn until used. He also has a variety of crowd control abilities to boss the enemy team around and setup strategies with your colleagues. It's finally time to take this Dinolancer into your own hands!

• He employs a variety of movement impairing effects to control the battlefield, making him an invaluable Frontline for any team.

• Fixed an issue with pick/ban order. It should now be ABBABAAB for picks.
  
• Second ban period is now 30 seconds (down from 60).

• Halloween banner pieces are available for ISO purchase from 11/7-11/14 8:00am Pacific
  
• Probe’s targeter and vfx are now consistent with the size of probe.
  
• The outer edges of hyperforge now work as walls. This affects some freelancer abilities such as Lockwood’s Trick Shot.
  
• Fixed a few second pause in resolution that could happen when NEV:3 dies mid-movement with a Mouse Trap out.
  
• Fixed an issue where some maps had a reddish tint on certain computer setups.
  
• Fixed an issue where the X-Ray vision powerup base was not showing correctly after taunts.
  
• Fixed an issue where Celeste - with the 3 smoke bomb mod - could get in a situation where there was no valid square for the 3rd smoke bomb, preventing her from locking in.
  
• Fixed a rare edge case where Rampart’s shield could get energy from a Khita arrow it did not actually block.
  
• Damage preview numbers for Phaedra’s Putrid Spray are now displayed like Kaigin’s Void Marks.

The War Games have ended with Season 3, but the fight goes on with Season 4! Chapters have been revamped into week long events with Trust themes. Take a look into the lore each week with Season 4 Stories in game or in the World section on the website. Lookout for the new in-game ALERT system with bonuses and loot you can earn by actively playing. October also brings the return of the Holo Haunt and new Halloween theme skins and emblems. A new powerup, X-Ray Vision, comes into view along with Freelancer balance and Ranked changes.



Time to show off your favorite skins for Halloween with the new Holo Haunt event! Missed out on loot from last year? Enjoy the return of Rask, Quark, Juno, Titus Halloween skins along with new styles, emblems, and new Reaper Meridian skins! Holo Haunt Loot Matrices are available as bonuses to normal Loot Matrix purchases and may be earned through Missions and Alerts in game. Holo Haunt skins and emblems will be available for ISO purchase Nov. 1 – 7 (8:00am PDT) as the event ends.




All-new Alerts have been added to Atlas! Earn loot matrix drops and Flux, XP, ISO bonuses throughout the week with special Alerts. Upcoming Alerts will appear in-game when it starts and then complete the challenge to unlock rewards.



A new purple powerup called X-Ray Vision provides increased vision range by 2 squares and enemies behind walls or in camouflage (invisible are still hidden) are shown. X-Ray Vision spawns around turn 10, and lasts for 3 turns when picked up. Ranked will now have 2 bans per team when Season 4 Ranked starts in a couple weeks. Isadora, NEV:3, and Quark have received some balance changes and details are available in the Patch Notes.

• Fixed an issue where using GGs during a Fourlancer match could sometimes break the end of match screen
  
• Fixed an issue where sometimes queuing for both Deathmatch and Fourlancer could put the player in a bad state
  
• Fixed an issue where players could get an error after forming a group with Fourlancer selected

In Chapter 5, the highly anticipated Fourlancer game mode is introduced where you can take the team in your own hands. Isadora the Furyball Frontline also rolls into action with her trusty Forceball!



Time to take charge with the new Fourlancer game mode! Choose and control all 4 Freelancers on your team and play 1v1 with an extended decision timer. Use F1-F4 hotkeys to select each Freelancer or cycle through them with CTRL+TAB. Put your tactics to the test, set up combos on your own, and play deathmatch without others to blame.



Isadora the Furyball is a Frontline freelancer that is fused with crystallized energy, fires devastating lasers, and is fortified with a Forceball. Isadora is protected with a passive amount of shields, but has a much lower health total. After taking enough damage to drop her shields, Isadora goes On Foot as a Firepower and can cause imminent doom to her enemies. As the Forceball erupts, energy crystals scatter across the battlefield and can be gathered by Isadora exclusively for extra energy. Isadora can convert energy into shields with her ultimate, thus bringing her back into Forceball mode.



Isadora's ready for all out war with her new Apocalyptic skin and Fill gets a new flannel look with the Plaid skin which unlocks both male and female styles when purchased. New Damage Inc. Quark, Celeste, Su-Ren, Zuki make their debut and big congrats again to Vezzed Gaming for winning the Damage Incorporated Invitational Tournament and choosing the selected Freelancers!



Parade around the battlefield with the "Fanfare" Overcon for logging in during Chapter 5. Complete the Chapter 5 missions to prove you are the bomb-diggity and unlock the "PjuBomb" emoji based on executive producer Peter Ju! New achievements are also now available for all Freelancers #4 ability, may the 4th be with you.



Celebrate Chapter 5 with double ISO this weekend from September 8 to 10! Play matches, gain XP and earn Loot Matrices with every level up. Loot Matrices have a chance to drop ISO or if you happen to get a duplicate item it turns into ISO instantly.
