Next year there will be a patch devoted to fixing up FR in terms of crashes and bugs using a different computer. I also plan on removing multiplayer as it is unstable and insecure and the mod would be better off without it. There are no plans for any new features.

I'm not even sure if anyone in the community even played the multiplayer as I didn't hear anything about it like bugs or crashes from the multiplayer. It always seems to be singleplayer stuff. I might keep it in if it isn't as insecure and broken as I thought.

Note that multiplayer would be just removed from the main menu and the mod will still support multiplayer through console commands. There would be a guide to set this up after the update launches.

EDIT: Multiplayer may not be removed in the next update.

- Fixed a crash that occured when you kill a Combine Ace/Elite without their weapon.
- Fixed a texture error with the Combine Ace.
- Viewmodels are now predicted.
- Disabled Cremator corpse removal behavior to prevent crashes.
- Replaced the combine guard's projectile with Combine Balls.

1.8.1.3:
- Set the NPC limit to 75
- Set the maximum NPC limit in the menus to 200. The main reason why I keep lowering the NPC limit count is to provide better performance for all tiers of PCs. If you have a higher-end PC and want to see what happens if you make the limit infinite or you choose a huge limit, feel free to edit it with the command "g_fr_npclimit", or adjusting the slider in the ADVANCED OPTIONS menu to maximum or 0.

- Added in a NPC Limit option. Setting the NPC Limit to 0 means that there is no limit.
- Fixed a bug with the text on the Player Model menu.
- Fixed a bug where the weapon could hide itself when switching to a new weapon given by the game
- Fixed a bug where the Player Model menu would switch to the default player model if the user chose something and then closed the menu.

1.8.1.0:
- Suppressed crashes that can occur when many entities are in a single map. I say "suppressed" as I'm not sure how well these fixes will work.
- Fixed a crash that can occur if you are using a custom player model.
- Optimized precache loading times for some entities.
- Changed some particle effects.
- Added a barebones Player vs Player vs Enemy mode in Multiplayer.
- The "Mass Homicide" achievement can now be saved with the game.
- The "Explosive Conclusion" achievement can now be saved globally.
- Removed the Dedicated Server.
