SDNL: Development
We're continuing to fix issues and make changes based on feedback from the initial SDNL release. We plan on having a hotfix release very soon.
Johanna worked on getting "Decommission" (SDNL port of the Virus Map, Corrosion) ready for release. She also worked on "Hinderance" to address feedback.
Lifeless continued working on "Containership", as well as other maps.
macdguy worked on balancing changes for SDNL (weapons, Dino Battle) as well as fixing bugs. He also worked on Workshop support for SDNL, including the vote map, and download the maps.
Sketchman worked on achievement icons.
Halloween
Development has started on the Halloween events for 2023.
Johanna worked on improvements for Dark Voyage, making the time chamber room transitions faster as well as the general speed of the vehicles.
Joshua started working on Halloween items, finishing a tiara.
Nuclearxpotato started working on Halloween items.
Wheezwer started working on concept art.
Will started working on new music for Dark Voyage.

August 2023 Condo Contest - Results are In
Thanks to everyone who participated in the community vote. There were 229 responses this time, and there were 37 entries to the contest!
As the voting style was adjusted for this Condo Contest to accommodate more winners, there were changes in how prizes were given. To that end, there where multiple winners across 6 different categories ("Favorite Overall", "Best Visuals", "Most Impressive", "Most Cozy", and "Best Variety").

Battle across multiple locations such as...
Frostbite - Battles rage at an isolated research base among strange ice formations that shouldn't exist in nature.
Hinderance - A close quarters frag-fest in old, mysterious ancient ruins.
Meadows - Bring mindless, violent chaos to this tiny, pleasant meadow.
This release also comes with new items, balance changes for Little Crusaders, as well as various fixes, optimizations, and tweaks throughout the game.

Zombie Massacre - Pumpkin Heads now pop off their pumpkin head upon death
Achievement Changes
“I’m Having a Key Stroke” - difficulty decreased. Requirement to unlock is now play a perfect game within 10 seconds (was 8 seconds)
“A Worthy Offering to the Gods” - difficulty decreased. Requirement to unlock is now to sink 20 balls (was 25 balls).
Arcade Changes
You can now pick up and throw with just left click instead of pressing ‘Use’ to pick up the ball in certain throwing games such as Starfield Lanes
Planetary Piano - 8-key solo game duration increased to 30 seconds (was 15 seconds)
Ice Cave - now allows 50 throws (was 40)
Made Newton’s Apples a bit easier
Lonely Gun - Removed “current ranking”
Lonely Gun - Reduced intermission time between rounds
Whirl-A-Fish jackpot can now be up to 9999 (was 999) and increased default jackpot values to 800-1200 (was 100-200)
Starfield Lanes - Doubled the amount of balls
Avalanche - Doubled the amount of snowballs
Little Crusaders Changes
Little Crusader Balance Changes - Dragon:
Added delay between bites (0.5 seconds)
Increased bite duration to 0.96 seconds (was 0.7 seconds)
Improved bite animation (larger bite)
You can now tail-whip while biting or in mid-air

We're wrapping production up on Slaughterday Night Live (SDNL), our new PVP Game World. SDNL features over 31 weapons, and classic Arena gamemodes such as Team Deathmatch, Capture-The-Flag, Team Oddball, Dino Battle, Slasher (a melee only gametype), Insta-gib, Low Grav Snipers, and the standard Arena gameplay with weapon pickups. SDNL beta will launch with 3 unique maps of various sizes and themes. Meadows, Frostbite, and Hinderance are the launch maps. We're very excited to soon show you what we've been hard at work on.
Johanna worked on models for the trophies.
Josh continued working on weapons.
Lifeless continued working on "Containership", while also touching up SDNL's Game World Port's panel, and fixing various issues in the maps.
macdguy worked on fixing bugs that were found during internal playtesting. He also worked the Workshop SDK, and finished the SDNL trailer.
Nuclearxpotato continued working on "Skyline".
Sketchman continued working on improved weapon prediction.

We're wrapping production up on Slaughterday Night Live (SDNL), our new PVP Game World. macdguy worked on fixing bugs that were found during internal playtesting. He worked on icons for kills and weapons, as well as implementing adjustment ideas from playtesting, setting up stats and achievements, and the Workshop editor.
Nuclearxpotato continued working on "Skyline", a roof-top acrobatic map, as well as various props for SDNL.
Sketchman worked on making weapon switching predicted (meaning network ping should have no effect on how quickly you can swap weapons), as well as weapon prediction for some other weapons.
Will continued working on music for the SDNL maps.

Plush Survey: Winner Announcement!
The voting has concluded, and the winner is...the Catsack!
Cornelius the Dragon was a very close second, only within 40-ish votes.
If our first campaign is successful, the demand is clearly there for Cornelius next time!
We've started working with Makeship on the Catsack design, and will post more details as we get closer to revealing the campaign.

Johanna worked on finishing the Weapon Pickup Holograms. She also made a new model for the Ammo pickup, worked on materials, continued working on the "pre-round" level, and did an art pass and design iteration of "Hinderance".
Josh continued working on SDNL weapons.
Lifeless worked on SDNL payouts, fixed some issues found during play testing, while also working on "Containership".
macdguy worked on solidifying all of the game types, pickups, achievements, badges, leaderboards, while implementing other features like "double" and "multi" kill indicators. He fixed bugs found during playtesting and continued working on the SDK.

Johanna worked art for the "pre-round" and "post-round" rooms.
Lifeless added CCTV cameras, weapon pickups, and other objects to all the maps, while working on "Containership".
macdguy finished working on the Team system (logic, UI, etc). He also finished working on various SDNL game types (ex. Capture the Flag). He added chunks to the gib system when a player explodes, crowd sounds when doing well, intermission and intros, and teleport effects. He also fixed a bunch of bugs found during playtesting, and continued working on the SDK system.
