And, if you search the coast line, you’ll see that a maze has once again surfaced to be explored!
Halloween Achievements, EXP & Milestones are back
Last year we added various Halloween-exclusive achievements, EXP, and milestones, and they're back again this year. Participate in new quests and scavenger hunts throughout the plaza to earn them, and be sure to check them out in your collection book, too! You can earn Halloween EXP for participating in Halloween events such as Halloween minigames, collecting candy or remains, completing Halloween achievements, and completing Halloween quests!
As you increase your Halloween EXP, you can unlock Halloween milestones such as throwable blood wine and a drivable Minecart!
Return of the Ghoul Coins
While playing games in Tower Unite during this year's Halloween event, you'll earn Ghoul Coins. These coins can be redeemed in the Plaza for Halloween items. You can earn them by playing Plaza minigames or Game Worlds. This year you can earn Ghoul Coins at the Arcade and through Fishing!
Halloween Minigames
The Plaza minigames have not been left out of the Halloween fun. Participate in the Ghost Hunting and Pumpkin Smash minigames on the Event platform, and you uncover a lot of pumpkins along the way!

Multi-select is here!
We've been hard at work adding improvements to the condo building system and this update includes a powerful new tool - multi-select! Now you can hold down shift and select multiple items at once with the gizmo system, and drag, rotate, and even copy items all at once with the alt-drag feature! Got a desk with 15 screens on it? With multi-select you can select your desk, all 15 screens and move it into another room all without ruining their positions.

Last week, we released Update 0.14.4.1, which included some bug fixes and new condo materials.
Sketchman has been working on improvements to the Gizmos for condos. This week he worked on updating the controls so the Gizmo can be dragged (or let go of) over existing UI elements. The build UI will also now lock while the Gizmo is being dragged to prevent accidental inputs.

Update 0.14.4.0
Last week, we released Update 0.14.4.0, which introduced the Private Theaters, rent-able private screens for you and your friends complete with a bar, along with the new Laser Tag arena! In addition, this update included TONS of quality of life changes and bug fixes.
Sketchman has been working on improvements to the Gizmos for condos. He's working on infinidrag, which will allow the gizmo to wrap around the screen when dragged. He also is working on angle snapping, displaying the current angle of the rotation gizmo, and fixing undo/redo to work with the multi-gizmo system.

Laser Tag has a new look! Maneuver your way around the new sea and space themed arena, fending off the opposing teams around new terrain, including more ramps, barriers, and vantage points!
The teams and their respective hubs have also been given a color update, to make them more visible. Charging stations should be clearer as well.
More updates to Laser Tag gameplay will come in a future update!
Private Theaters
The long awaited private theater system is now here! Just like the Volt Nightclub’s karaoke rooms, you can now rent out a theater space for you and your friends to enjoy videos in the Plaza together privately. You can also invite others in by answering their knocking at the door!
Enjoy the full theatre experience by grabbing a drink at the in-theater bar and selecting light options at the settings panel by the door to set the mood.
New Condo Surface Editor
The surface editor now displays all the materials in a larger way, making it easier to find materials. It also keeps track of the currently selected surface, along with automatically highlighting the current surface. It supports canvases and displays canvases for fast access to already used canvases. Several bugs have been ironed out as well, along with many surfaces having world align variants that they previously did not have.

One of our main focuses for this update was bug fixes, and it sports quite a few. We've gone through and resolved several collision bugs, voice chat issues, workshop load-in issues for condos, and much more.

Update 0.14.4.0
Work continues on the next update to Tower Unite, Update 0.14.4.0, which will introduce the Private Theaters, rent-able private screens for you and your friends complete with a bar, along with the new Laser Tag arena!
In addition, this update will include TONS of quality of life changes and bug fixes.

Condo Improvements
New Condo Surface Editor!
macdguy worked on a new and improved condo surface editor. This new editor boosts many new features and improvements.
The surface editor now displays all the materials in a larger way, making it easier to find materials. It also keeps track of the currently selected surface, along with automatically highlighting the current surface. It supports canvases and displays canvases for fast access to already used canvases. Several bugs have been ironed out as well, along with many surfaces having world align variants that they previously did not have.

Laser Projector Optimizations
Madmijk has been working on optimizing the Laser Projectors, as well as giving users the ability to optimize their own Laser Projectors.
Miscellany
Lifeless continued working on a new map for Little Crusaders.
macdguy continued working on getting Update 0.14.4.0 ready for release. He also fixed issues with head rotation while in seats, and added water splashes that are affected by velocity.
Sketchman continued working on improvements and optimizations. He fixed issues with animations when starting a server, and worked on infinite drag for Gizmos (so the mouse will wrap around the screen). He also fixed the issue with Voice Chat where voice chat would replay voice data.
Wheezwer worked on concept art for a new Event Catsack and Celebrations NPC, and continued working on haunted paintings for the Shooting Gallery ride.

Johanna worked on finishing any work needed for the completion of the next update. She worked on fixing issues with the new water system, and also continued working on the Shooting Gallery ride.
JJosh continued working on more arcade plushies and NPCs.

macdguy continued working on getting Update 0.14.4.0 ready for release.

Hotfix 0.14.3.2
Last week, we released a hotfix to fix some issues with the previous update.
Work continues on the next update to Tower Unite, Update 0.14.4.0, which will introduce the Private Theaters, rentable private screens for you and your friends complete with a bar!

macdguy continued working on finishing Private Theatres. He completed the booking system, the theatre system, the bar, along with other features.
Johanna continued working on the Shooting Gallery ride.
JJosh worked on new prizes and plushes for the Arcade, as well as updated NPCs for the Bowling Alley.
Wheezwer continued working on Murals and Wanted Posters for the Shooting Gallery ride.
Will continued working on music and sounds for the Arcade.

Condo
macdguy added drifting and ramp support to vehicles, made the platform in Smooth Dirt toggle-able, and added a new "Placeable Dynamic Light Shadow" feature. He also continued working on Condo I/O, this week working on push and trigger volumes.
madmijk worked on optimizing the code for the Laser Projector item.
Sketchman worked on various tweaks and improvements to the Gizmo system, and also made improvements to the High Rise condo.
Placeable Dynamic Light Shadows
This new feature adds a new setting to the settings menu to allow placeable lights to cast shadows. This feature can be extremely expensive, but can improve lighting in the condo and help condo builders convey their intended design.
Improved Condo Gizmos
The Gizmos will now keep a steady size on the screen, regardless how close or far away the player is. Players can now also translate, rotate, and scale multiple items at once!
