Baron's abilities interact with Hysteria to provide bonus effects. Targets at Max Hysteria take 25% additional damage from Baron Samedi.

Vivid Gaze Baron Samedi animates two skulls, both which briefly charge before firing beams of voodoo magic that damage enemies. The beams meet at a crossroads of Baron Samedi’s choosing. Enemies hit by both beams take 15% damage on the second hit. If the enemy god hit is above 30 Hysteria, their Physical Power, Magical Power, and Attack Speed are reduced

Consign Spirits Baron Samedi guides restless spirits to the ground and buries them. After a brief delay the ground erupts, damaging enemies standing in the area. If an enemy god is hit, friendly spirits fly the from the area and heal allies near the explosion or by Baron Samedi. If the enemy god hit is above 30 Hysteria the friendly spirit cleanses slows, makes allies immune to slows, and increases their Movement Speed.

Wrap It Up Baron Samedi throws his snake forward, wrapping any enemy god hit and dealing damage every .5s for 4s and slowing them until they are rooted. If a god hit is above 30 Hysteria, the snake will also lash out at nearby enemy gods who stand too close after 1s. Enemies hit by this are injected with venom that slows them until they are rooted and deals the same damage but instantly rather than over 4s.

Ultimate - Life of the Party Baron Samedi pulls the souls of the living towards his Coffin, becoming CC Immune and taking 50% reduced damage. Enemy gods within range are pulled towards the Coffin and take damage every .33s. When an enemy god gets too close to the coffin their soul is ripped out, causing them to be stunned, take a large amount of damage based on their total health and gain max Hysteria. This ability persists for 3.5s or until an enemy god is pulled to the coffin. If targets being pulled are above 30 Hysteria, the pull strength is increased on them.

Passive – Heart of Cold Every successful Basic Attack impales the enemy with a brittle crystal. Upon reaching 3 stacks of Heart of Cold, the enemy explodes for extra damage in an area around them.
Damage : 15% + (1% * your level) of your Total Basic Attack Power
Crystallized Curses Chernobog conjures a large crystal of curses and hurls it at the target location dealing damage on landing. After several seconds the crystalline curses explode dealing damage again and rooting any enemy in the area. The crystal can be detonated early by firing at it with Vicious Barrage.

Vicious Barrage Active: Chernobog fires an enlarged crystal shard that can pierce enemies and deals damage like a basic attack. This applies a single stack of Heart of Cold to all enemies it passes through and instantly detonates Crystallized Curses. Chernobog gains increased Attack Speed for several seconds after using this ability.

Into Darkness Dash forward with your wings in a shadowy form, dealing damage to enemies on the way and slowing them. If you collide with any wall, you connect with it becoming a shadow on the wall for a few seconds. You are unable to be hit or targeted during this time. You gain a second dash to leave the wall or can cancel the ability to leave early.

Ultimate - Living Nightmare During a brief channeling period, Chernobog summons shadows at the location of all enemies that apply a stacking Slow and last for 8s. Chernobog can select any of his shadow clones to fly towards. Once he reaches the location he takes the place of his shadow, refreshing his cooldowns, as well as temporarily obtaining damage mitigations, extra movement speed and every attack triggers Heart of Cold.

Ranked Reset! "The first split of Season 5 Ranked is coming to an end! Make sure to try to hit your ranked goals before the reset when this patch hits!
The reset itself will be a soft reset. What this means is that your previous split performance will have a serious impact on where you will play your qualifying games and where you place after qualifiers are finished. Diamond players should expect high level qualifiers and with slight adjustments based on your record.
We have also made some adjustments for this split with where we place players after qualifying. Previously, we would place someone quite a bit lower than our estimated MMR (Matchmaking Division) for them, giving them room to prove themselves. After reviewing where players qualify to and how they are spread around all the ranks, we are reducing how much lower we place players. This means players will qualify much closer to our estimated MMR and will qualify higher than in previous splits."
