Crossout - Faley016

Hello, survivors! The “Battle for uranium” will return today at 15:00 GMT. This time, you will have access to two different modes at the same time. In the first one you will fight using combat vehicles from 8000 to 10000 PS. In the second mode, battles will follow the rules of “Clan wars” (fight until two victories), and the PS frame will be from 12000 to 13000 PS. The event will end on September 1.

Also, get ready to step onto the football field again because the “Steel championship” returns on August 29! And don’t forget that August 28 will mark the last day of the “Dronapocalypse” brawl. Get a chance to ride the crazy drones!

Good luck in battles!

Return of the “Dronapocalypse” brawl
Attention! The mode will be available from August 22 to August 28!

We know that you’ve missed the wild battles of small drones with big guns. Now it’s time for them to return!
[expand type=details]
  • “Dronapocalypse” is a team PvP brawl.
  • The team that inflicted more damage to an enemy leviathan or destroyed it wins the battle. If both leviathans have the same amount of durability at the end of the battle, then the battle ends in a draw.
  • Battles are fought on preset drone vehicles.
  • This year, we have added new leviathans and drones with new weapons.
  • At the start of each battle, you are automatically given a drone with random weapons.
  • The mode has respawns. Before respawning, you need to choose the drone you want to continue the battle with. The blueprints for display are randomly selected. If you don’t manage to choose a drone in the allotted time, you will automatically be given one of the offered ones.
  • Choose a drone wisely and take the current situation on the battlefield into account. The right choice will help you not only destroy the enemy leviathan faster, but also buy time by controlling your opponents and defending your leviathan.
  • From battle to battle, the leviathans of your or enemy team, as well as locations, may change.
  • The reward for the battles of the mode is wires.
Special challenges and rewards
  • Day 1: deal 5000 damage to the enemy leviathan in the “Dronapocalypse” brawl. Reward: “Engineer’s container”.
  • Day 2: complete 3 battles in the “Dronapocalypse” brawl. Reward: 80 Engineer badges.
  • Day 3: earn 800 points in the “Dronapocalypse” brawl. Reward: “Humanitarian aid” container.
  • Day 4: deal 5000 damage to the enemy leviathan in the “Dronapocalypse” brawl. Reward: “Engineer’s container”.
  • Day 5: earn 800 points in the “Dronapocalypse” brawl. Reward: “Humanitarian aid” container.
  • Day 6: complete 3 battles in the “Dronapocalypse” brawl. Reward: 80 Engineer badges.
  • Day 7: deal 8000 damage to the enemy leviathan in the “Dronapocalypse” brawl. Reward: “Iris” part workpiece.

Return of the “Steel championship” brawl
Attention! The mode will be available from August 29 to September 4 inclusive!
[expand type=details]
  • Players can take part in the mode both as a group and individually as part of a randomly selected team.
  • The match takes place in the “3 vs. 3” format.
  • The match lasts 3 minutes. The team that scores more goals against the opponents wins.
  • If a team leads the opponent by 3 goals scored, the match automatically ends with a victory for this team.
  • In the case of a draw in regular time, overtime is appointed:
    • overtime lasts 1 minute;
    • the team that scores a goal during overtime wins;
    • if none of the teams scores a goal during the overtime, the match ends in a draw.
  • Before the start of the game, each player can choose an armoured car and, accordingly, a role in the upcoming match:
    • defender: quite mobile and allows you to temporarily disable the weapons of nearby enemies. Equipped with a shotgun that allows you to easily hit the ball, pass it further or even topple your opponents.
    • forward: a classic option for the “Steel championships”. A high-speed armoured car with a harpoon and a crossbow.
  • During the match, you can change your role by using self-destruction. Please note that after self-destruction, you will not be able to assist your allies for a few seconds.
  • We have taken your feedback on the last “Steel championship” into account and made changes to the armoured cars of the mode.
  • The focus on the ball option is now in a separate weapon group for convenience.
  • The reward for the battles of the mode is wires.
Leaderboard
For moving up the leaderboard and advancing to the next league, you will get the following rewards:
  • Rust: starter league, no rewards.
  • Iron: “Red glade” paint.
  • Steel: “‘Number One’ hand” decor.
  • Bronze: “Steel trophy” decor.
  • Silver: “Explosive gates” amusement ride.
  • Gold: “Fan-duck” decor.
  • Legend (rewards of this league are given out after the event ends):
    • 1–3 places: 2 “Legendary merchant cases”.
    • 4–10 places: 1 “Legendary merchant case”.
    • 11–50 places: 2 “Epic merchant cases”.

“Ice championship”
Attention! The mode will be available from September 12 to September 18!

It was fun playing football, but now it’s time for Wasteland hockey!
[expand type=details]
  • Be careful: a heavy puck instead of a light ball and slippery ice of the stadium can fundamentally change the familiar football gameplay!
  • The basic rules are the same as those of the “Steel championship”.
  • The mode has special armoured vehicles for the forward, defender and goalkeeper roles. You can switch roles during the match through self-destruction.
  • The reward for the battles of the mode is scrap metal.

“Battle for uranium”
This time, players will have access to two different modes with two different leaderboards at the same time. Please note that you will have to choose which mode is more suitable for you and participate only in it. If you participate in the first mode and then move to the second, you will inevitably lower your rating in the leaderboard of the first mode and vice versa.

Attention! The modes will be available from August 26 to September 1, 15:00 GMT!
[expand type=details]
  • The first mode is almost the same as the previous “Battle for uranium” variations. The only difference is the PS bracket (from 8000 to 10000) and rewards:
    • For moving up the leagues from “Iron” to “Bronze” you will receive Engineer badges as a reward.
    • For moving to the “Silver” and “Gold” leagues, you will receive 10 uranium ore as a reward.
    • After the event ends, the players that are placed in the “Legend” league will receive additional ore, depending on their placement on the leaderboard:
      • 1 place: 200 uranium ore.
      • 2–3 places: 150 uranium ore.
      • 4–6 places: 100 uranium ore.
      • 7–20 places: 80 uranium ore.
      • 21–60 places: 50 uranium ore.
      • 61–100 places: 30 uranium ore.
      • 101–250 places: 20 uranium ore.
      • 251–500 places: 10 uranium ore.
  • In the second mode, battles will follow the rules of “Clan wars” (fight until two victories) with some minor changes:
    • The battles of the second mode take place at the same time interval as the first mode.
    • For each battle, you are rewarded with scrap metal and personal rating points.
    • The personal rating in this mode does not affect the “Clan wars” rating in any way.
    • Matchmaking is tied to the personal rating and not the clan rating.
    • Only armoured vehicles with PS from 12000 to 13000 can participate in the battles.
      • 1 place: 250 uranium ore.
      • 2–3 places: 200 uranium ore.
      • 4–6 places: 150 uranium ore.
      • 7–20 places: 120 uranium ore.
      • 21–60 places: 80 uranium ore.
      • 61–100 places: 40 uranium ore.
      • 101–250 places: 20 uranium ore.
      • 251–500 places: 10 uranium ore.

  • Improved one of the pathways on the “Powerplant” map: removed an obstacle.
  • Adapted the “Chemical plant” map for armoured aircraft and added it to the rotation.

New rare heavy generator “FG Aggregator”
  • Produced at the “Engineers” faction workbench.
  • PS: 195.
  • Energy supply: 3 units.
  • Deals small amount of damage upon explosion.
  • Durability: 101 pts.
  • Mass: 346 kg.
Comment: due to the recent energy system changes, it became necessary to introduce a rare heavy generator that supplies 3 energy units (“Big G” that supplies 2 energy units was immediately followed by “Ampere” that supplies 4, so it was impossible to choose an optimal generator for some builds).
“FG Aggregator” is the predecessor to the “PU-1 Charge” and will be used in its production. The new generator will be available for production on the Engineers workbench. Please note that “Big G” will have some balance changes made to its parameters to match its light class and to clearly distinguish it from the new generator.

“Big G”
  • Durability reduced from 101 to 41 pts.
  • Mass increased from 36 to 72 kg.
  • Explosion damage reduced by 33%.
  • Explosion radius reduced by 20%.
Leviathans
  • Energy limit when using the weapons of the same type increased from 24 to 26 units.

  • Added a sound effect for interface buttons that have “hold” function.

  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect placement of environment objects on the “Powerplant” map.
  • Improved a number of in-game texts and icons.

Hello, survivors! The second “Battle for uranium” ended at the beginning of August and the best of the best have already received their well-deserved rewards. As it was stated in the recent Q&A, it is planned to make the most successful variation of this event permanent in the future. So share your experience and thoughts after each iteration of the event and help us make the right choice! By the way, the next one is right behind the corner — in the nearest update.

Yoshida and his “Speed demon” have already arrived to the Wasteland. A new cabin and weapon will make the perfect combination for a lot of interesting and unusual builds!

With the next update, Crossout will see the return of certain game modes (even those that we are not used to seeing in the summer), and for the first time, there will be an opportunity to take part in a real Wasteland hockey match!

And, at the very end of August — beginning of September we’ll see more news and details about next season, including some interesting stuff about new mechanical legs!

You can download this and other artworks from the “Wallpapers” section on our official website.

Hello! Today we would like to share the three winning works of the latest “Clash of engineers”. The authors of these entries will soon get their rewards of 10000 in-game coins.

But first we would like to remind you that according to the rules of the “Clash”, any vehicle that meets the minimum requirements of the contest can participate in the prize drawing for in-game rewards (in this case, the minimum requirement is the use of the “King” weapon). But only the vehicles that meet the full list of contest requirements (including the PS limit, rarity of parts used in the build, etc.) can participate in the prize drawing for in-game coins.

In accordance with the rules of the contest, we chose the three winners. At least one of these vehicles will be added to the in-game store at some point.
  • «KN24 Shadow» by RIGDEN

  • «KN24» by The_Big_Thurston

  • «KN24 Makibishi» by yhttype88

Congratulations to the winners! Your rewards will be added to your accounts within 14 working days from the moment of this announcement.

Hello, survivors! As usual, we would like to share the latest information about the upcoming update. There will be a new event “Echoes of war”, the return of the “Steel championship”, “Sea battle” and “Dronapocalypse” brawls, as well as a new version of the “Battle for uranium” event and a new rare generator that supplies 3 energy units!

By the way, the “Steel championship” won’t be the only sports-themed brawl of the next update, but let’s look at everything that’s coming in more detail first.

We remind you that all the new features described in the “Developer blog” are not final and may be changed before they are introduced into the game or may not make it into the game at all.

“Steel championship”, “Sea battle” and “Dronapocalypse” are back
The familiar brawls are back with some improvements.
  • For the “Steel championship”, we have taken your comments into account and slightly upgraded the preset armoured cars. It’s time to get better tires. The opponents’ gates are open for your goals.
  • All hands on deck! In the “Sea battle” brawl, choose one of the three preset corvettes and take aim at your opponents’ ships.
  • In the “Dronapocalypse” brawl, take control of small crazy drones once again. Fight the enemy team and make strategic decisions on when to attack the enemy Leviathan and when to protect the allied one.
New version of the “Battle for uranium”
This time, players will have access to two different modes at the same time, but you will have to choose which mode is more suitable for you. If you participate in the first mode and then move to the second, you will inevitably lower your rating in the leaderboard of the first mode and vice versa.
  • The first mode will be the same as the previous “Battle for uranium”, but now the PS bracket is from 8000 to 10000.
  • In the second mode, battles will follow the rules of “Clan wars” (fight until two victories) and the PS bracket is from 12000 to 13000.
“Echoes of war” event and a new sports-themed brawl
The new “Echoes of war” event with a reward scale full of various useful trophies will start in August.

We’re all familiar with football in Crossout, but what about hockey? It’s time for the Wasteland’s first “Ice championship”! A heavy puck instead of a light ball provides a completely different gameplay. More details about the new mode will come later. Stay tuned.

New generator that supplies 3 energy units
Please welcome the new rare “FG Aggregator” heavy generator.

In addition, a number of other improvements are planned in the upcoming update, as well as fixing some known bugs.

That’s all for today. See you in future developer blog entries and other news!

Yoshida has been in bad accidents many times. But even the most terrible ones did not make him abandon his car and live by the memories of how nice it used to be. Hello, survivors! We continue to share the thermal maps that show where your armoured vehicles most often get blown to pieces during the fierce battles in the Wasteland. But this report is not a usual one.

Survivors have recently led a massive attack against the Ravagers to determine the fate of the Wasteland, and the sentient machines zealously protected their leader. After the flame of the fight had faded, we managed to get our hands on the maps of the locations where the ravaging trilogy of brawls took place.

The thermal maps show the joined statistics for destruction counts of both the survivors and the Ravagers. There is no distinction between the sides.

“Operation: Red light” and “Operation: Radiance”

The confrontations between Lloyd’s minions and the survivors were a difficult warm-up before the battle with the scientist himself. The survivors fought valiantly all the way to victory. But the Ravagers clearly tried to take every chance to “become one” with the mercenaries led by Foxy and Mentor.

Heat spikes are evenly spread across these maps, but a few bright red spots are still distinguishable: those are the places where action came to a boiling point.

“Operation: Blackout”

How many survivors do you think were able to evade Lloyd’s traps and make it to the battleground to face him? Judging by the heat signatures, the answer is: a lot of them. The Ravagers and the survivors were destroying each other all over the place, but the final arena is covered in heat spikes almost completely.

If the survivors managed to defeat Lloyd and the finish line opened up for them, they were unstoppable. Judging by the map, there were very few battles on the final pathway.

That’s all for now. We have many more interesting thermal maps that we will share with you next time. Good luck in battles!
